  1. You know, Boy Scouts are supposed to be courteous and kind...
  2. Well, what can I say, it's not gonna stop. Chances are I'm gonna breach the ever-important Godwin's Law and use that comparison again. Sorry. I know how you feel though, I get sick of seeing the words "pwned" and "noob" everywhere.
  3. Why not? I know it was horrible and all that, but it's still a well-known historical event, much like any other. Or would it be better if I mentioned the Holodomor, that some researchers estimate 10 million people lost their lives to?
  4. Description: A rockin' shindig to show just how bored people can get. Date: November 17th, 2007. Time: 9:00 PM UK Time 4:00 PM EST 3:00 PM CST 2:00 PM MST 1:00 PM PST World: 14 (F2P 8-) ) Location: Event kicks off at the Falador Party Room Apparel: Priest gown top and bottom. As long as you're wearing those you're good. They cost 5 gold each and can be purchased at the Varrock Clothes Shop. RSN: TheLoufus Contact info: PM me in-game or on the forum, AIM would be best though ---------------- The Schedule ---------------- The Drop Party The event will start off with a delectable drop party at Falador's Party Room. Here's a pic of what's getting dropped. (That's plain, meat, and anchovy pizza, as well as redberry, meat, and apple pie. Talk about delicious!) Note: The beer is for the afterparty The March After all the food's been given away, we'll begin our march from the Party Room to the wild above Varrock, stopping on 3 separate occasions to have it out with the local NPCs Into The Wild! We'll take the wildy by storm and crush everyone in our way  (or get killed quickly, but that's beside the point). The Afterparty After we've shaken up the Wildy, we'll make our way back to Varrock to eat, drink, and be merry. -------- A Map! -------- No event is complete without a map with lots of vibrant colors on it  See you there! (hopefully) --- Also, this is the first event I've hosted, so any tips, comments, feedback, etc, would be greatly appreciated O:)
  5. Wouldn't it be easier to just put the spammer on your ignore list?
  6. So why support that company (I'm assuming you have an account on runescape; correct me if I'm wrong)?
  7. It's funny how the vast majority of those "animal rights activists" have a combat level over 3. Think they got that from genie lamps?
  8. I find it pretty ironic that people make boards about the cruelty in shooing away a dog, yet nobody complains about the place where the mass murder of others is encouraged. If shooing away dogs is promoting animal cruelty, just imagine what the wilderness is promoting  Holocaust anybody?
  9. Well, I just finished reading all 18 pages of this thread (non-stop too! ) and I must say, I'm sick of P2Pers telling F2P how $5 is nothing, then complaining about how they pay valuable money for all their extra stuff. Just seems kind of hypocritical to me. Anyways, I don't think F2P deserves a skill cape, I think they deserve something better, considering how much more difficult it is to level up in F2P worlds. Frankly, you have a lot less resources and a lot more macros to deal with. Of course, we all know that a snowball has a better chance of surviving in a volcano than F2P has of getting anything even resembling a skillcape (in physical appearance or otherwise). (Insert fatigue-induced rant here)
  10. Good points. I was kinda thinking out loud there too. Good luck with coming up with a name.
  11. What world is the relay race going to be held on?
  12. You could look at the post you made with same question 7 posts up. The answer is right below it. The next big drop party is in about 6 months.
