^ Not to sound like a fanboy but Chessy impacted the general public more than Woox16 because her wealth inspired more players. Also, someone getting hacked is MORE likely to gather attention rather than someone quitting without suffering some sort of downfall. Chessy sold out by flaunting her wealth in websites like Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter. Information is leaked all over those websites so hackers used them to gather her personal information. She didn't realize that gaining attention like this can lead to serious ramifications. I doubt I can say the same for "200m exp players".

Unless you guys can elaborate on how she "scammed wealth", I hardly believe she did...I've heard more good things from her than bad things according to some fans and there are people who actually benefited from her knowledge. I don't know much about Chessy other than the fact that she's a [bleep]ing showoff but I wouldn't judge any wealthy players as scammers just because they have billions. <_<

The rares market doesn't always necessarily deal with items in circulation, it's a lot of speculation. In a perfect world they should have literally nothing to do with the market but people will blow them up and I think they will have at least some effect. ^ Beat me to it The hacking has been noticed by the general public for about 3 days and I've seen no signs of santas rising/crashing. I find that pretty sad to be honest. I know a guy who also recently got "hacked" and lost well over 5 years' worth of "work". I haven't seen him online since that day and according to one of his RL friends he had a mental breakdown and didn't talk for a few days and even went as far as not showing up for school. There was also mention of him not eating for a day or two. I didn't know whether to laugh or feel pitty. I understand that it takes a lot of time to get to where some players are but if you're going to have a mental breakdown over a game then it isn't a game anymore. Then it becomes a job/life/addiction. Still, working on something for 5 years is definitely taking it too far to just call it a "game" don't you think? I wouldn't say addiction, but more like ambition.

Exactly. Since those items can be sold/exchanged for other items, returning them to its owners can become a very complicated procedure. The idea has so many flaws because it doesn't work. If items were simply returned by creating new items to replace them, then holiday rares could suffer a tremendous downfall. Anyways, the policy should stay the way it is. From what I know, Chessy still hasn't figured out that her account got hacked yet. I guess she left for good. She'll probably just make a short YT video of her quitting, fans might get upset and un-sub/flame and then leave.

On the contrary, she did teach the unfortunate how to make money, provide new methods and schemes to make profit, donated to fans/subscribers and made friends with plenty of Jagex moderators. I can't say this is Karma's work but yeh, I personally don't like her either and I rather this happen than the opposite. :rolleyes:

Correct me if I'm wrong, Geek, but I believe a majority of those rares were sold to the public before the ban took place. So in theory, rares might dip a little or even crash for that matter since one of the biggest rare hoarders are gone. A youtube video shows the hacked acc pleading to give all the items away and quitting by framing a known person. The hacked acc actually instead, sold the items, including the santa hats for a considerably cheaper price. The certain youtube video also has pictures of the hack that took place when santas and green partyhats were being sold to the GE. So the rares stolen might have a very minimal effect on the market, but I can't speculate that rares may rise since so many hoarded rares have now reached circulation again. The FOE people used personal information to "recover" the account. My guess is that this was all done from sensitive information leaked by her Facebook, Twitter, or even her RS clan chat and Youtube channel. ~My last post was when I just figured this out. So sorry if I sound a little contradicted.

I haven't used mine yet, but fellow abby campers told me the drops only make a difference in the special drops you get from wearing ROW. It doesn't seem to work on slayer drops or "rare" drops like dragon drops, crystal keys, d stones, or effigies.

I support raising the cap. Especially on skills where having more than the 99 limit will give us considerable advantages like constitution or prayer. I would solace the dreadful popularity of skill mastery finally shrink to it's former glory where only the few can achieve.

Divine crashed about 50-70m? Not much but it'll probably drop a little more before it stables. Elys hardly crashed at all.
