  1. I was never tempted to throw away primal body for sag. I just don't like using melee reduction armour and the defence bonuses besides mage are crap. Range def is pretty important too since you're always mage praying anyways. If you've got a full inv of salves, you don't really need to pray on enemies like 128 zombies or 135/6 skeletons since the primal body gives enough defence to protect you enough to use less food than you will recieve from the drop. I used a blood neck before, and it's not as bad as it seems when you have a SSH bind. The neck only activates whenever a monster is attacking another teammate or "going" to attack. It never activates on idle enemies. HHB is definitely worth it if you have 3 binds. One teammate with a HHB does considerably speed up the dung since a majority of monsters can get killed very easily. Especially higher demons and mages which are slightly resistant to melee. Although binding a HHB would also mean it's highly recommended to bind arrows since using only store bought fractite decreases it's capability. I don't like binding laws since you only need it for C1 floors.
  2. Greens crashed and are worth ~100m below it's market price. Idk if this was a good move or not (since masks are almost 100% junk) but the cash allows me to have a chance of sniping a red. And if that falls too, oh well.
  3. First of all, primal equipments aren't rare. In a 5:5 large team, you are almost guaranteed a tier 11 equipment. There is a point in primal armour, just like promethium, gorgonite, etc. You always want the best bang for your buck and seeing as almost everyone who dungs have 99 cb stats, its a necessity to get primal first, and then promethium if you cannot get one yet. You cannot wear a full set of primal armor because that'll just ruin the whole purpose of mining and smithing armour. Nobodys even going to bind gloves & boots anyways because there are other items that are more recommended than a simple tier 11 equipment.
  4. Green phat's been stabilizing around near max for awhile. I can't really predict whether green phat will drop below the market price or just stay that way until FT. Seems like Purps are almost impossible to sell atm. People are willing to accept as much as 2 eggs + cash to sell it so I can already tell those who have purples are going to lose a lot on them. Yellows aren't doing so well either but it's a heck of a lot easier to sell than purple or ely. Red is closing into Divine + cash. Saw one selling red + egg for a divine. Lastly, one piece of torva like the legs is going for a blue+. Saw one offering blue for 1 pair of torva legs. Can't imagine what the set will be worth. I'm assuming by the time FT arrives, there will still be some degree of "street" value to items worth more than the allowed 2.47B limit.
  5. Neck > plate was a bad move. Not sure about plate vs HHB in comparison but it's worth it if you are willing to sacrifice one bind for the team. Won't help you as much as the plate in terms of survival, but it will definitely save more time and hassle fighting mages using melee weapons, and higher demons without the need of magic.
  6. With 286M, you definitely won't be able to afford a purp. Which will go for ATLEAST 350m minimum. With nobody buying elys and people trading valuables to sell them off, you probably could get an ely. If you're up for staking all of your bank, go for it.
  7. I've checked w2/forums and seems like people are still buying for 550-600+.
  8. Yellow is below min GE...Not as bad as purp though which is going below ~400m now. Idk much about green. But I saw an offer of Green + purple for yellow and cash. @ Dan, NICE. But I doubt you'll make much profit out of it. I heard greens aren't doing so well either. I'm a little tempted to sell my green and the wait for the same to get a red hat.
  9. Historically, Green was always above yellow before free trading and the GE. The only time Yellow went above green was when the prices of phats starting to climb back up and that was a long time ago. Greens caught up to yellow and then eventually passed it because people just lost confidence in yellow to sustain at that level. It's very plausible for white to catch up to blue since their rarity is so trival as stated and there seems to be more people interested in white rather than blue according to the player submitted polls. The phat market atm seems heavily depended on the rank. The higher the phat, the more safe you are from the crash. If you're intending to upgrade, nows the time to do it. Because there is no doubt that purple, yellow and (maybe) green will suffer the same fate as the summer crash 2 years ago. On the other hand, holding on to your yellow is another choice you'll have to think. In the summer crash 2 years ago, I remember lower partyhats were MUCH easier to sell than the higher ones simply because they were more affordable.
  10. Purp: ~400M Yellow: 600-650M Geeen: 750-800M Red: 950M-1.1B White & Blue: dunno...fairly stable atm. Divine: Green+ Ely, disk, pump, h'ween masks: pure junk...Nobody buys Idk much about the new GWD armor. Seems like they're around white and blue.
  11. Well, aside from purp, the rarity of phat colors are so trivial that there's hardly any difference. There might be like 50 or so more yellows than greens and like 20 more reds than blues but the true fate of partyhats may depend on how many people out there still want them. Purps imo were expected to fall because there are significantly more of them than any other color and the least sought out of all six partyhats. It's a strange coincidence that the higher phats are more sought because of the color but we can never know if they're TRUELY more rare than the lower hats like green and red.
  12. Purps are buyable at GE price so for those who've been waiting to get a phat, this is your chance. Torva is still going strong, edibles are crashing harder than ever, seems like rocktails and super sets are climbing steep.
  13. elys and disks are pratically worth nothing. I've already seen too many purp + ely/disk for pure cash.
  14. Longest have been awake my entire life was half that and I literally felt like a drunken zombie so I think this statement is true. Can't imagine anyone can stay awake that long though..... :???:
  15. Random capitalization is a good example. Gf? Anyhow, the theme sounds a little cliche'd so what I suggest is why don't you write something totally unique that's obviously Runescape related. (Cmon' Going from nothing to something has been used in already billions of movies and literature) Also, don't make it similar to the existing novel Betrayal of Falador or anything like that. Think outside the box! Make people really want to read your work.
  16. ^ I can say that has NOTHING to do with what I said on my last post. :???:

I was thinking about this too. Glad it came out to be true, hopefully.

old sign: Leo new sign: Cancer -.-............... I'm not going to believe in this nonsense. I'm a LEO for life. They can't just change a whole tradition because of one slight discovery. As harsh as that sounded, I totally agree with this.
  20. I think the problem is perspective. It seems like you only look to all the bad aspects in teammates. Sure, there are a lot of people that are jerks and elitists, but there are some who are actually trying to help. I've met a fellow who literally took 5 minutes after defeating the boss so that he could help me make strong poisons for the sagit arrows I got from the skeleton trio. In the end, I thanked him for being very considerate to me. If people start talking back or arguing, then just leave the team and forget everything that happened. They'll learn from it eventually. I don't think teaming is all that bad tbh. You learn to work together, and maybe even make friends. What so frustrating about that?
  21. Gives you something to mess with though.
  22. ^ Still, it has nothing to do with the topic. ;-) I can pretty much say this is the only reason why nobody will buy edibles. They will simply have no use. With the trade limit gone, people will just trade in coins or other values without going through the hassle of edibles or street prices. If edibles were wearable or had some sort of purpose, then that's a whole different story, but I can't see people ever wanting them again. Wines are going below white phat so despite my last post, I'm assuming wines might be available to the market and they'll be worth somewhere around mid-low phats.
  23. Minor wearables like santas and masks will drop slightly then steadily increase like always. Partyhats will be buyable for cash (idk about white or blue) But there will definitely circulate through the market like before. Edibles will become worthless once again. IDK much about rare edibles like crackers and wines. I remember half wines going as cheap as holloween masks to more expensive partyhat(s). There's not guarantee that crackers will be buyable (although I doubt it ever will for that matter) but wines might require several partyhats or other unbuyables to trade them.
  24. I'm assuming it will be cash buyable, not needing rares. From what I hear the drops aren't ultra rare. I think Jagex legitimately wants these armors to change combat, making them available to a larger population than say: divines/elys. I would most definitely wait at least a month or so however. I disagree- look at the requirements for this boss. It's all but required to have at least 8 people with 96 summoning, overloads, and spending 200k+ per kill in supplies EACH, wasting 25+ minutes in prep time and then 6+ minutes per kill, only to get 5 kills a trip. These are all people who could easily go to TDs and make 4m per hour instead of doing Nex, and after the novelty wears off a lot of them are going to do just that because Nex is so expensive and time consuming, and it won't be too long before it's difficult to get a team of qualified applicants together. With that kind of limited supply, these armors are ideal for hoarding. I've already seen a lot of people cashing in partyhats for the armor because they seem to think it's a better option than holding partyhats through free trade coming out. We could easily be looking at something similar to, but slighter cheaper than, the divine spirit shield with every piece of this armor. But these other options like TD have some degree of liability so for instance if people keep milking claws and dragon pieces off them, it's obvious that they will eventually fall in price to where they aren't very profitable anymore. The difficulty of obtaining Torva armor and it's incredibly humongous demand will keep 1000s of players hunting Nex until they can get one. With Lootshare introduced, people just don't seem to care if they'd rather make more profit by doing something else other then hunting a boss to get an item they really want. It's only been 2 days since the armor was released so of course it's a good idea to hoard and stash in rares to trade them. This is old news.
