  1. is it really wise to carry all the runes with you? good on you though! This picture is just to show my inventory/gear, I wont bring that many casts per trip. ;-)
  2. Brb99mage  31k Ice Bursts + 2k Blood bursts = 46.7m
  3. Double post...
  4. Rough guesstimate of 1 or 2 drops per week. DON'T rely on that though.
  5. The fact that you managed to sell all of those items, let alone one of them, should tell you that this is not even a real crash. It's a panic crash, 76king was just made more difficult to do, you just need three people total now, instead of two. Besides, drops are still pure gp, nothing will fall for more than a few days.
  6. No because its going to get me a little below 40 defence maybe like 38 or 39 then im training it up to 40 so I can wear rune I already planned for the exp from the quest. But thanks for looking out :) Last i remember, the d slayer def exp gets tou from 1 to 33. I'd rethink that if i were you.
  7. The Whip:Godsword hit ratio is 3:2, NOT 3:1.
  8. Lesser demons, they drop rune meds every so often, which alch for ~11.4k. They also drop lots of fire runes, and pick up all the coins they drop. Doing this will allow you to use adamant arrows and most likely profit/break even. You could also try Flesh Crawlers in the Stronghold of Security, they are supposedly the fastest melee exp in the game, and they don't hit very often. So I'd assume they'd be the same way for range. They drop a lot of stackables. A full inventory of cake should last you quite a long time.
  9. You can only setup one cannon at a time. I have no idea about the spirit seed.
  10. GS > whip/DFS. D o you have proof for that? My reasoning is that Speed of the whip plus the +8 str of the DFS is better then the accurate yet slow GS. Give me some numbers and i might think other wise. Do you have proof that a whip, and a dfs, a defensive shield, is better? Whip, being faster then a GS, able to kill them much faster. The DFS still helps out some. But someone with max, or near maxed stats, prob wouldn't find much of a difference between a Def and a DFS. But with a whip and a GS they would. And from the looks of it, he wants faster kills for faster tasks. Speed being the key factor. Did you read the original post? He said he's going to use a DFS, I'm telling him to use a defender because It's more accurate, and it provides faster killing speed. I don't care to remember how we got into the discussion of whip/DFS vs a godsword, but I've personally tested it, and the loss of accuracy from a defender is key in the godsword being faster. Whip+defender>>>>>Godsword>Whip/DFS

  12. GS > whip/DFS. Infinity boots won't help as much as you'd think, the only give +5 mage defense, and dragon boots don't do anything to your mage defense, your better off with dragon. Trimmed Skillcape on tasks that you pray melee (or in other words, use proselyte), or use the Ardy cape 3 if you have it. Falador shield 3 is a bit of a waste imo, +8 attack bonuses > 1 prayer bonus, I personally use defender over both of them. Cannoning black demons while meleeing them is a great idea, if you use the gear I told you about earlier, and add on a cannon to that, the tasks will take half as much time as it would tanking them out. Yeah i always did my Black Demon tasks in Tav Dungeon. I would cannon tank them. Usually i could do a task of 150 in about half an hour. Its kind of a money waster but its probably my favorite task due to the emmense speed. I think once i get a Pony i can tank them without having to Protect Pray once. Also the other day i thik it was Djay who said something about only saving 1.2k an hour when using Skillcape (t) over Fire Cape. Once again there i think fire cape is wiser choice because it miht increase my killing speed. I remember seeing that, but I'm pretty sure it was for JUST melee pray? Even if so, it probably wouldn't save over 5k/hour, so yes use a f cape. Forgot about seeing that ;p
  13. Gorgoroth's Aviansies guide I highly recommend using this, it's average range exp, and nice cash.
  14. SC Hatchets double your exp, and you can already get 90k+ exp an hour with a dragon axe on Ivy (so I've heard). So with SC Hatchets, I'd say you could probably get over 170k exp/hour.

  16. Most definitely, a godsword is more efficient than whip/dfs. But the whip/defender combo just destroys both of them.
  17. I think you have Karil's IIR, so like Aspeeder said, you should always use Karil's. Like you said, the repair cost/time doesn't bother you ;)
  18. Proselyte plate, and Verac's skirt, he'll still need a tad bit of defense.
  19. Defender on all task, except dragons, which he may skip.
  20. This is honestly the fastest, most efficient way to kill them.
  21. lrn2readtopicbeforepostinglikeaninny. Mages. You will also get more xp/hour here. Abbies are nice for a change though. Don't forget your ROW. He already said he was going to kill abyssal's and do barrows. Btw, slay, should I make a barrows guide using my method? With your help, of course, because I've never made a guide :P Ye but he didn't say he no longer want opinions. True, and yes, if you read this slay, mages are faster exp/hour and money/hour. But I always liked the idea of a 3.5m+ item dropping for me :)

  23. Z spear or a leafbladed sword, and use prossy + mage pray. They hardly use the special that disables your prayer. Bunyips and EE/SGS is enough healing for when they do disable it.
  24. 8,000,000exp / 600exp = 13,334 kills to 99 strength. Assuming a whip drop is 1/450, and that you sell them all for 3m, you can assume 29 whips, and 87m. This is a very very rough guess, you may not get more than 10, and you might get over 50, it's all luck. To give you an idea of how far off the drop rate can be, I've gotten 15 whip drops in my life. I've recorded over 22k abyssal kills, so my drop rate is over 3x the estimated drop rate. Now let's also assume that a crimson charm from an abyssal is 1/3, that's 4,444 crimson charms. The actual crimson count will be a lot closer to the math than the whip count, I doubt it will be off by more than 300. Assuming you get 29 whips, that is 87m alone, but you will obtain at least another 13m in other loot. So I'm going to say, that if the math holds true, you will gain ~100m doing this. As far as using the charms goes, I couldn't tell you.
