Why? It's just a cape. I wouldn't mind it if someone with like 45 combat got 99 slayer but level 18 is ridiculous. At level 18 combat you didn't actually train slayer for 99. I have no problem with people getting levels there unless it's getting 1-99 at just soul wars. It should be like pest control with a required combat level to get in. You do know that getting 99 slayer in soul wars takes AT LEAST 2x as long as it would with normal training? He DESERVES that cape for putting in all the hours. Even if it's just a game, it's still damn near impossible to do. You try it, most people, me included, would give up after under 1k points. I understand that he put tons of hours into it but what I'm saying is it annoys me that you don't have to train it to level it. I never once said he didn't deserve it btw Alright, well sorry for that. He still trained the skill, obviously, just not your definition of train.

Claws? Yup, lots of spells now have a 10% damage increase if you use them with a few select staff's. 33's on rex :thumbsup:

Theres no reason you shouldn't use barrows, the repair cost is so miniscule it shouldn't matter.

I have personally used the hats and I KNOW that they last for 40k exp. After you've gained 40k exp from one hat, it will become 0. You would have originally gained 20k exp without the hat, but it doubles to a total of 40k exp gained per hat.

I can tell you right now that fire striking lessers and crumble undead on Ankous are both not profitable. I know FoG is profitable, obviously, but it's slow, as far as I know. Enchanting diamond rings into rings of life is profitable, but their is a 100/4 hour limit on diamond rings, and I don't even think you buy 100/hour because they are so hard to get.

It might not be profitable, but if you have the patience to wait then just buy the supplies now, do the math, and figure out what price you need to sell them at to break even. While your waiting for the price go do something fun :P

Full void range, zamorak kiteshield, armadyl pendant, accumulator, ranger boots, rune c'bow, broad-tipped bolts. Use the Enhanced Excalibur/Excalibur for the specials, and use B2P tabs. Go inside the eyrie to kill them, you don't need a saradomin item in there.

Fury > stole, Verac's helm > Neitiznot, full Unholy book > Granite shield, Ranger boots > Snakeskin boots. Take ~ 200 Diamond (e) for Jad, and you should really only need like 5 brews or so, but bring whatever your comfortable with. For the Ranger boots try borrowing them from a friend, it's not worth the 9m for just one thing.

Many people have gotten a fire cape without using prayer.

I remember back in the day I bought a D bow to train with. As far as I remember, it honestly wasn't THAT bad. It is slow, yes, but it is very accurate, and two arrows at once is just cool. I should honestly buy a D bow + like mith or addy arrows and test that with maxed void and rune cbow with broads with maxed void. Do 10 different monsters, 5 with high defense, 5 with low defense. Time per kill, shots per kill? I think it'd be interesting to see if the dark bow really is as bad for training as people make it out to be.

Yeah I'm gonna head over to barrows using guthans and slayer dart method for one or two trips (which are over 15 chests a trip ;)) and see the exp/hour and exp/chest. And then being the stupid person that I am, but back sgs/dfs and go do some more Dks.

This. even fire giants, or armoured zombies can be killed using bronze knives. If you have 55 slayer, I would personally recommend a runite crossbow and broad-tipped bolts > anything.

I already did a few trips there, and I can easily last over 7 titans (7 hours). The ONLY problem I have with maging DKs atm is that I'd buy a SGS and DFS to stay a long time. I have a 94m cash pile, and I can't afford to take a loss on sgs/dfs with the fluctuating/inflated market, especially knowing that the summer crash is right around the corner. Although the profit might outway the possible loss. I'm just paranoid is all :( Edit: I've maged at Dks at least 20 times, but just a few times since I set my goal towards 99 mage. I know what I'm doing.
