granite/ancient mace? unless you mean weapons actually worth using

1- elders 2- gods who have been around elder artifacts for a long time draining their power to the point where they no longer actually need to keep them. Guthix 3- gods with multiple elder artifacts. 4- gods who have mastered their powers and are starting to collect elder artifacts 5- rising gods who used an elder artifact to drain another god of his/her power and are learning to use their new powers. 6-rising gods who have been around an artifact for long enough to attain god hood but have yet to fully master their new powers. 7- demigods who are created from a god giving up some of his/her power...would that make us technically a demigod then?? think it could be interesting for us to actually climb our way up the god ladder ourselves. Guthix gave us what was left of his power so would that make us a demigod? We've physically touched the horn, the staff, the stone and been inside the kiln. We got a shock from touching guthix's sword in his chambers. So how long do you actually have to be around an elder artifact to become a god. And if you get all 12 will that make you into an elder?

Thats the thing though. He didn't. if he was such a control freak he wouldn't have let any of his follower get strong enough to the point where they could actually pose a threat to him. And would have known to keep on guard because all of his strongest followers would have been constantly trying to break free of his control. Power fits better then control. Dragonriders- lend your power to my armies and i'll give you power to continue your lineage. demons/vampires- help me and i'll give you power over any mortal race who tries to defy me. marahajatt- help me and you'll each be given power over your own kingdom free from the constant warring of your home world.

I'm guessing that the crowns defense mechanism is that it attracts other elder users whenever its power is used. and could its defense mechanism explain why guthix's sword broke? 6) Is it the tokaar who are an elder item or could they mean the forge instead? then what does that make the tzhaar? and can we then make lesser copies of elder items? 10) I'm gonna guess that to avoid the edicts seren gave up her god hood and literally became the crystal the elves use. Able to protect them with her very essence and didnt it say somewhere that by communing with crystal the elves commune with seren or some such thing. 13) Really zaros makes no sense at all as the god of control. Look at his strongest followers. Marahajatt, dragonriders and by extension dragons, demons. All of which by definition are extremely independant beings who would resist any form of control imposed by zaros unless it benefits them. He was just asking to be overthrown then. The power theme from the zaros thread fits so much better.

I finished reading The Last Threshold by R.A. Salvatore. I cried at the end. The last chaper was cheezy and anti climatic but the epilogue! The Epilogue!!!! I have to know is Drizzt Do'Urden dead or is anything more planned. I can't find anything about if there is another book planned!! edit: found out that there is another book coming out in august. But it sounds awfully like the last musing of a dead man.... I'm hoping for a massive deus ex machina at the end. Otherwise all the suspense and plot building in threshold is basically for nothing :evil:

I'm thinking that silske's going to use the staff to make himself strong enough to resist being possessed. Unless zaros gains more power based on the power of his host? It would make more sense for him to not go after the strongest follower he has so that he doesnt waste a useful pawn. He'd need a body strong enough to contain his power without it destroying itself while too strong a body is just overkill. assuming it works like that.

It did not say Tuska had one at all, the only ones mentioned were Saradomin's Crown, Skargaroth's Sword, Stone of Jas, Staff of Armadyl and a horn found in Gielinor (presumably the Frostenhorn) No but when its explaining the crowns ability of attracting other elder item users it says that the crowns ability attracted both Tuska and Skargaroth.

sad that the butterflies made no mention of how seren and guthix started there fling. Hopefully will come around during the elf quests though. and no mention of how the sword broke or what the other elder god items were. was said that tuska had one and sounds like she had control of the goblins as well which means that bandos has it if he killed tuska for control of the goblins.

There's no way for jagex to implement gambling on a purely double up basis without it being abused or unused. Abused by people with big enough cash stacks to double up every bet unused because there is a miniscule chance to win, a high % going to the house, or a limit to how many times you can play all to prevent people from abusing and making people just prefer to stick with gambling clans. I can see it working as a jack pot system though where everyone at a "table" or world puts an amount of cash into a pot then playing a group game of chance to win all the cash with house taking a cut. Smaller the group less pay out but higher chance of winning while larger groups would be reversed.

Major problem with this is that it introduces new gold into the game, which causes inflation. If it is Player versus Player and only one of them can win a portion of the money because of 5%-20% reduction? How is this causing inflation? Money is removed from the game! Doesn't even have to be player vs player for it to avoid inflation really. Use real world type odds from poker and roulette and stuff where weighting is like 35:1 against you (for standard pick a number roulette) Win payout could be 10* your bet and it'd still eat money. Eg say you bet 10k In 36 games 360k would be taken from players. 350k of it would be eaten by loses. Whilst a winner would get a 100k payout. Still -250k in the economy. Same principle current hosts work off the odds are always in favour of the house and the payout for winning, whilst generous, is low enough that it doesn't exceed what the house takes in. I can't see jagex making it be player vs player though. and if its just player vs comp it could cause inflation if people keep doubling bet every time they lose. lose 1m bet lose 2m bet win 4m bet and make 1 mil unless the % taken by the game is extremely high or chance of winning very low, both of which will discourage people from playing, it will cause inflation.

So this means some sets will have a fixed type, or we'll be given the option, if we already have a piece of armor, to change it to what type we want when this goes live? inb4 they don't give ports this option to keep nex on top.

Started to get back into slayer with eoc to practice combat for bossing and i still need some co op rewards. I asked a while ago if there was a co op slay fc or thread to find team mates but the one i found has since closed and i havn't found another. Are there any new fc's or even a co op world?

does xp go off of base level or would boosts increase xp?

Do fishing level boost help at all in fish flingers? ie granite lobster/admiral pie. And do granite lobsters catch fish while in flingers?

is it worth it to do trade good missions in bowl or should i be focusing more on jade/scrolls to max out ship/buildings and only do trade goods after?

What is best set up for cash these days? Clans saying max maple + rest coal rather then herbs with prices fluctuating. Is it true or would maple/mahog be better for nests and cash or are herbs still good?

In the last picture? That's a Bandos godsword. I meant more of that it's the ancient Godsword, just that it happens to have a Bandosian hilt. And I noticed that after hitting the post button :razz: Probably meant to represent the player character, since Jagex thinks Torva + Godsword (and nothing else) is the top-tier equipment Don;t be silly Jagex doesn't show players in the top gear they show players in perfectly average gear because everyone has thousands of millions to buy nex gear and in no way shape or form are most average players wearing t70 gear. Remember, top-tier player gear is either Torva with dual rune longswords, or Pernix with Akrisae's mace. shortswords, rune short swords are way more pro then dragon longs.

wondering about crew. does solidarity make much a difference for triple stat voyages or is it better to use 5 oxhead on a ship. And if 5 oxhead are better is it better to just skip double stat voyages and just do single and triple stats since there is no way you can finish all voyages now anyway?
