i know sc harpoon is slow so what is the fast method of catching harpoon fish? is normal, barbed, or bare hand fishing faster?

it depends on your preference. do you want to hit a little higher or a little faster? i prefer scimi however.

do granite lobsters special of getting fish activate when your barbarian fishing? i've been fishing for a little while now and his spec hasn't activated. what is the average time that it takes for the spec to activate? edit spec does activate when your barbarian fishing but does anyone know how long it takes on average for the granit lobsters spec to activate?

What? I think you mean "use something what uses a lot of bars to get bonus xp" right? You get less xp bonus/bar if you make something that takes more than one bar. You get 30.5 bonus per mith item (platebody/bolts/scimitar), not per bar. If you want to be cost effective, make things that require 1 bar. If you just want to level fast, bodies are still the best option. Aaaah right, thanks :) but don't you get the same bonus exp based on the number of items you make? 30.5 bonus xp from 100 dagers = 3050 bonus xp 30.5 bonus xp from 100 platebodies = 3050 bonus xp make whatever you want? but it takes more bars to make those 100 plate bodies. so u'd be loseing 5x the bonus xp then if you made an item that only costs 1 bar

you could mine 2 or 3 of the coal needed for the bars yourself then superheat bars. takes longer but makes a profit and gives mage xp

since the tools gives extra xp per item would that mean that vamps are beter for cost/xp now then dragonhide bodies?

Except now that people know the exp boost, bolts are crashing... hard. thats when you switch to arrows lol

the fastest way to get 99 smith is to make the highest plate bodies that you can but this gets expensive after a while. i prefer making bolts with morphic hammer however because you don't lose to much.

skill capes and quest cape are the exact same until you get a trimmed skill cape. the only difference then i believe is that it gives a pray boost.

personally just get all skills to 70 and get quest cape. most 99s are useless anyway and are just for show and i'd rather have the quest cape instead of one saying that i spent weeks clicking the same thing over and over.... but if u must go for rc since its not that common of a cape and makes a ton

the colour of the pet differs from each location from where they're found. the geckos that are near the gnome glider for instance are green, while the ones in the kharazi jungle south of shilo are red. the raccoons near body alter are grey and i believe that there are some neer seers that are red. eggs and crabs are randome though so if you don't get one the colour you want you need to try again. as a final note there is only one type of geck but its color changes depending on the area hes standing in.

I agree with the Mithril Bolts - are you getting 80 for Stealing Creations? If you weren't already 80 Fletching I'd also recommend feathering the bolts as I'm not sure if flightless bolts sell very well. You might want to use the Blast Furnace world instead of Superheat Item. You save 30k Coal and then you could just sell those Nature Runes. The dwarf there unnotes ores for a small fee, and there's an anvil there, so no worries about banking. I'm in a very similar situation and have basically outlined my plan for getting it. I'm still wondering about how long it will take, though... i was going to use superheating because that way i'd also be getting some decent mage xp as well. and i hate the blast furnace lol

do morphic knives give a cooking xp bonus when they're used on barbarian fish? just ran out of tools to test for myself but i'll check later if no one answers. and do the xp bonuses stack? like morphic axe xp bonus gets added to lumberjack bonus? update morphic knife canot be used on barbarian fish

i'm 71 right now and going for 80. i was planning on mineing 15k coal useing MTK to get another 15k and buying 30k coal, and 15k mith ore on the ge. i will then superheat them and just finished making 15k nats. what should i do after this? i was planning on just selling the bars and make a small profit but i want to get faster smithing levels. Is there anything i could make that would if not keep me getting a profit at least make it so that i won't lose to much?
