  1. I love axe. Axe is probably the strongest tank in the game. Plus he has a beard that can be unmatched. Epic beard.
  2. The title is pretty self-explanatory. What is the history of your name? The latter part of my name (Spitball) comes from a WC3 Clan (long dead now.. like 4 years ago) that was Freeze Tag-based. I joined the clan and part of the requirement was to put the tag at the latter part of your name. It kind of stuck and I just kept on putting it next to my name. Ace is just my name because I like how it is. Your name histories?
  3. What I look for in a guy.. hmm.. personality and kindness. Most of the jock/sports men are jerks.
  4. Dragoon, here's a link to a lich guide (used as a support/ganker): http://forums.dota-allstars.com/index.p ... pic=171635
  5. Admiral Proudmoore needs (another) nerf. X marks the spot range is pretty imbalanced and the cleave sword is really, really strong.

I don't really know much about cricket, but i love watching/discussing sports so I guess I could try to learn more cricket. Here in Sweden, it's not so popular... atleast in my area.
  7. 120 ping isn't bad, but if a game title said US or Canada (usually says us/ca) then it's your fault for joining. If it doesn't.. well.. i don't know that to tell you @klankaos: pudge is a decent hero, but my favorite has to be Lycanthrope/lycan. Really imbalanced hero...
  8. I'd go to France. It's beautiful.

Well written. I agree with alot (if not all) of your points.
  10. I have a rubik's cube next to me on another desk. I haven't solved it in a while, but I could do it in under 1 minute. I remember when I first bought it though, doing 1 side was easy, but when i had t odo 3 or more I was frustrated with the little bastard so I resorted to *gasp* peeling the stickers off and replacing them on a different square. Although I don't do that anymore. Now it's too easy to finish it. :|
  11. Well, now. This is one good step in the right direction to fixing the Malaria problem.
  12. Wow.. The database of 2001 seems alot less informational than 2008's
  13. Or, you can actually look at the sign that says RUNE tips.

Why did you have that maphack in the first place? maphack is what made diablo 2 suck. Not because you couldn't do anything about it, but there was just too many people using it
  15. hehe.. DOTA is pretty addictive/fun. Btw, 6.56 came out today.
  16. I scored a 4. I try to see the best sides of everything. The sleep one got me a bit lol
  17. So...I have thousands of wins over the years, and countless icons, and I'm probably only slightly above average. Being pro at the regular game takes far more time, and there are so many more variables. It's much easier to control 1 unit than it is to control a whole army, while keeping your economy economy running. There's no comparison. You have a point... I agree wc3 standard games are harder but the way you said it, it kind of makes it sound like standard games are impossible compared to dota (which they are not)
  18. DOTA has cheats.. sure... but maphack is pretty much the only one people use. Also, WC3 standard games are not hard AT ALL. This is coming from someone who has a 150 win Night Elf icon and a 25 win Human icon.... Oh and caxis, clinkz is fun to use, but he's so easy to kill. So very fragile and squishy... alot of people also use wind walk incorrectly and die (free gold for me) Barathrum kind of sucks, Nerubian assassin is good but if he's low leveled then you lost. earthshaker is a pain to master because fissure always does the opposite side block for you. My favorite heroes? The lich(kel'thuzad), Magina, Rhasta, Admiral Proudmoore (so imbalanced (NEW HERO)), Balanar, Ursa, Zeus, ana Jakiro.. There's probably more i like but i cant bother to list them all
  19. lol... what game? dota doesn't have any cheats so i assume you're talking about like a standard game
  20. Yeah, it takes awhile to get used to DotA and get good at it. Because there's so many heroes (there's like 93) and alot of items/recipes, it gets hard knowing whats good for what and how you use it correctly.
  21. That sounds like diabetes.
  22. Defense of the Ancients (often referred to as DotA) is a custom scenario for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, based on the "Aeon of Strife" map for StarCraft. The objective of the scenario is to destroy the opponents' "Ancient". The two teams' ancients are heavily guarded structures at opposing corners of the map. Players use powerful units known as heroes, and are assisted by allied heroes and AI-controlled fighters called "creeps". As in role-playing games, players level up their hero and use gold to buy equipment during the mission. Defense of the Ancients pits two teams of players against each other: the Sentinel and the Scourge. Players on the Sentinel team are based at the southwest corner of the map, and those on the Scourge team are based at the northeast corner. Each base is defended by towers and waves of units which guard the main paths leading to their base. In the center of each base is the "Ancient", a building that must be destroyed to win the game.[9][10] Each human player controls one Hero, a powerful unit with unique abilities. In Allstars, players on each side choose one of ninety-one heroes, each with different abilities and tactical advantages over other heroes.[11] The scenario is highly team-oriented; it is difficult for one player to carry the team to victory alone.[12] Nevertheless, some heroes, given enough time, can change the outcome single-handedly, while countering the opposing team's heroes. Defense of the Ancients allows up to ten players in a five versus five format and an additional two slots for referees or observers, often with an equal number of players on each side.[2] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defense_of_the_Ancients (this is the source) http://www.dota-allstars.com It's not exactly a video game or a console, it's a mod for a computer game, but, I want to post this because I would like to see if anyone else on Tip.It plays DotA or plays in the leagues. Discuss the game here... your favorite heroes.. etc
  23. My grandpa was diagnosed with cancer in 1996(?). He died two years later. I never got to meet my grandpa, I was almost 8, and while we were living in Sweden, he was in Asia. My mother was also diagnosed with breast cancer, but like blingkachi's mom, it was in the very early stages where the cancer was the size of a quarter. They removed the cancer through surgery.
