One thing that irks me about the UK system is that no money until 18 if you choose to leave school at 16. Right now my 17 year old's course has ended, so I am getting no money from him as he is not working. He can't claim gov help till he is 18, and has unable to find work as of yet, and no college courses suitable for him. As he has left college I get no child benefit, and no help from the government like council tax, etc as they say he should be in work/college. Even apprentiships have turned him down. So basically he/we are in a rock and a hard place. No gov help as he is under 18, no jobs available and nothing suitable college wise. Also sick pay needs to be looked at- I earn £250/£350 pw as a bus driver, but last month I had a operation that will mean I am off sick till at least the end of March. I am having to survive on £81 pw, with no gov help as far as looking after my 14 year old, as I am employed, and potentially earning too much to claim tax credits. So I am having to cope on £169/£259 pw less money. That on top of no money for eldest son means a poor household here. Be glad to get back to work

The guy took my herb seeds- guess I had better start putting my 99 thieving to use at master farmers. Anyone one else got any ideas please? And as Mercifull rightly said I ended up sending 4 lost recoveries and several email- it was only because I finally sent in a copy of runefest ticket and the CC I used to pay for it(even though they did refund the money ) that they finally took me seriously. By this time the 3 day waiting on the pin had reset and the guy took everything. I don't care about my party hat but things I had collected since RSC was taken, and thats hurt me more than anything.

Ok most of my cash has always gotten from selling my stash of party hats. But my account was wrongly gave away last week, and when I finally got it back all was cleaned. I still have my account and stats, but not even a penny in my bank. Managed to find some money on mtk(which i have withdrawn) and my house stuff was untouched. Basically what can I do to get cash for amour- not asking for handouts, just advice. Managed to mine some rune for hatchet and pick, mined ess and got me runes to teleport. But no armour, summ stuff or anything else. I did think about killing for herbs as I can kill druids with no armour, obviously I can fish and cook some more food. But basiacally clueless on making money with no items to aid me- help? Thank you Sluggy

When I used to get my own planks I would balloon with just hatchet and correct money for one invent. Then I would cut logs right outside the planker, plank and tele to CW. Yes ok you are taking a little longer by cutting the logs but its easier than struggling with the weight in the balloon, or running from Varrock imo.

You logged out with valuable stuff in your inventory? Or do you not have a pin set? Because I can't see him knowing your pin unless you are keylogged with it a pic taking one. Suggest you look at sorting your pc out if so. And if you don't have a pin then SET ONE NOW! :mrgreen:

In the past when my whole family played RS there would be 5 of us all playing at the same time. Sometime we would do stuff together and interact, other times solo. Only I play still now, but none of us have been banned for that

I have been working whilst I should've been on sick leave(disability) for the past 5 years. I finally gave in and had a operation last monday to help with life. For me the reason I never went sick was down to money- Untill recently it was a one person wage household so I had no option but to work. I am now off for 3 months to recover. I will work through sickness simply because unless it is life threatening/contagous I had no option but to work

I'm the same. I have tried just running RS, changing java, slowing from top specs to min and its still the same. Nothing wrong with other games- plays Skyrim/Sims3/WoW and EQ2 perfectly fine. I can only think its RS's end. Mine has been like this for almost a month now, in Edgeville I get 1 fps, and the max I can get atm is 19/21. Should be getting more. And it can take a 30 secs to load area's which has always been instant for me.

Mine is named after the spirit juju teleport.

I used to own a whole set, but one by one i've sold them to fund 99's. I now am down to one and as far as I know it will stay that way for life. No intention of selling it

It is turned up- i can't move either of my arms at speed due to shoulder disabilities. I have tried other aids like trackballs but they was useless. Just came to conclusion i am slow hehe. I was trying to just do the farming tasks just- which helped alot. Advice gratefully received

Basically due to disability i have "very" slow mouse control. And when i say slow i mean slow. Now the timer resets on this mini game every min and i cannot do all of the tasks that the game asks you to do without a great deal of pain, and having to log from the game every 5 mins or so Now all i want to play it for is to unlock the two teleports and to do the pouch repair- the rest i am not interested in right now. Could i just do the fertilise and cure the patches and still receive xp, with maybe at a push fix the fence closest to the farm patch? Or do i give up this mini game right now and stick to conventional methods? And hints tips and advice would be "very" welcome

There are 2 chests in dorgeshun that give charms. But i would presume you would need combat to do the quests to gain entry into there. And the level for the chests are in their 80's from memory. I think if you really want this you will need to rethink the combat level element, or give up on the idea

Nat Express cost me £25 last year for a return to Birmingham for Runefest. I would presume that being a good 60 miles closer to London than i am it would possibly cost you £15 ish? I would however take the train if you could afford- I was on the coach for almost 3 hours (next to someone who had a body odour problem too). You could at least walk around on a train.

For convenience to get there Birmingham would be batter as its central England- everyone would find it easier than spending 2 1/2 hours on a coach (for me anyway) just to get to the capital.

Cost and the fact its close to Christmas is a deciding factor for me. Plus spending alot in RL doing up my home right now so may well not have the spare cash for it anyway.(rather do up my home than spend it on a convention). Would love to go- few people who i would love to meet up with again, and friends on RS/here i could meet up with. We shall see

I am currently 95 range, and i hate this skill with a passion. But i would like it 99 if i can stand doing it. Tried red chins and i hated those, tried broads and those are too slow. I DO like using cannon but it annoys people when i get it out, and being considerate i try and limit its use. Any ideas on leveling it as painless as possible?

Personally i would stay at ape, simply because its a easier course to do and less (or none?) chance of falling. Dorg is so long to complete i found you get more xp in the same time at ape till 83/84 then pie for gnome advanced. I got my legs at 83 simply by pieing there. Also with people there there is a less chance of you getting bored at ape

For me it depends on what task i am doing. If i am doing something that doesn't need inv space then yea- but stuff like slaying then not all. If i am collecting herbs specifically then yes.- i sell all of my herbs so all gp is usefull to me

If you tried it on easy and basically evaded all events i doubt it would be worth it even then. Better to get 2nds the other way i would say. Unless of course you like doing it (which i do) then go ahead and try it for yourself

99 used to be my home world, till lag got too bad. So i changed to 84 but with the popularity of living chasms i am often booted out of that world. Recently been on 60 which isn't too bad till peng updates then it can get a little laggy. Any suggestions on a stable world?

Ok i just trying this mini game out, and to be truthful its confusing the hell out of me. I have managed to attract the common jadinkos ok, but when i go ask to scare them away so i get different types it asks me for a payment. But how on earth do i get striped vines when i only seem to get the common ones? Also have tried noose wanding but no jadinkos are living there for me to attack. Am i to presume i have to unlock them first? I also have tried growing the new seeds which according to tip it will unlock but obviously without the payment are they ok to leave there until i can get a hold of some striped vines? Any advice would be appreciated in playing this game, it seems very complicated to me. Thanks Sluggy

Personaly it wasn't very expensive for me back in the day to buy feathers. GE ruined the prices of them?
