Also, the unknowable way to end a sentence in a parenthetical (is it with the period inside or outside the left parenthesis? What if there is a sentence inside, where do you put the period for the inner sentence and the period for the outer sentence?).

Hey guys, I think I just got a legitimate job offer! $10/hour + $8/hour ($1450 for the semester) work study money! I was worried I wasn't going to get something for the fifth time in a row. This is really funny. Not because I agree with it, but just because of how it's set up. @Sara: yes, my timeline is 3-6 CST. My job starts at 5am, goes until whenever we get the fields done, which is usually about 2ish. Hours are gross. Also, I think tomorrow might be better for me, but idk.

Let's just do it like this: Everyone who wants to play, post a guess at your availability for Saturday and Sunday. Post GMT times, with am/pm, for simplicity. For both, I'm free from 9 pm to 0 am (midnight GMT, 6 central) due to the dumb hours I work. I realize this is a rather small window, so I'm more than willing to sit out if most people can't play at this time. My start time is also subject to change depending on how long the fields take: hopefully I'll be back earlier, but it might be later if they take a long time.

Setting aside time is probably a better idea, it's just gonna get awkward any other way.
