Apathy is so easy sometimes. Hung out with a high school friend tonight, and played a non-DnD role playing game (Changeling). It was better than DnD, but still kind of awkward and not all that exciting. I think the biggest problem was the campaign though; literally none of our skills were useful, so we spent several hours making characters only to have most of what we did be completely useless. Whenever we needed to sneak, no one was around, whenever we needed to force entry, the door was open or someone was around, whenever we needed info, we could just find it without even having to look. It made the actual "mystery" very boring, so the only interesting parts were the interactions between the PCs. All the tension came from that, there was never any external conflict we had to worry about. I'm still kind of 'Meh' on the whole RPG thing. It could be good, but I've never played something I enjoyed with the exception of maybe Rusco back when the Falador Library was a thing.

When you say you rarely resort to violence, I have a very hard time believing that, based purely on the number of times you've posted on this thread that you resorted to violence. I'm even willing to accept that you have posted about every time you've done so, and it's still a ridiculous amount.

There's definitely a difference between positively using your anger and beating up a drunk guy.

I want to post something by HowToBasic His new videos are just...... something else. He's an ad source on youtube, and it's just about the best thing to come out of that channel. Like, I've never thought he was that funny, but seeing it right before every video I watch on youtube is really hilarious.

Comparatively, Halo's post has a lot of substance. It was Goon who posted 37 consecutive, uninterrupted pages of s single picture of a cat. Halo never did that.

*laughs at your 1082 page count* There's literally one person in that thread who has made more pages on his own than that. I feel like an elitist ass now, whoops. Edit: To put that in perspective, Halo had 1,587.05 pages all on his own in that thread. Only three other topics on this board have more pages than that, the screenshots thread in General Discussion, the Today... thread in OT, and the You're Banned thread in Forum Games (which was the reining champion in pages until /FG/ came about, if I recall). 200m in all skills is getting close, if anything else passes 1587 pages, it'll be that one. Jesus we posted a lot.

Yes I know that's not how it works. wat even I forgot I did this and I happened to see it just now and I'm laughing really hard at my own dumb joke so I'm just going to repost it. My favorite part was how I just blatantly changed the first 4 digits the second time and no one noticed. I know no one should have, but it was still really funny to me.

Big problem with the STEM master race is their superiority complex over every liberal arts major or anything else they deem easy/not worth the college time. It's very frustrating to hear, at least partly because I used to espouse that crap until I realized that people need to do things based on what they want to do, not solely based on money.

If this is directed at me, then I know exactly why I don't have a job, and it is in no way the fault of other people. I was mostly just being a joking middle ground to this argument.

Divergent is definitely the strongest of the three on that series. You might argue that the characters are at there strongest in Allegiant, but I still feel like Divergent was a stronger, more intriguing story.
