  1. Why isn't anyone posting on the threads I want to post on?

What? How exactly do you drain meat if you can't use a colander in the sink? That doesn't make any sense.

Made tacos last night. Broke the garbage disposal (or it was broke before) and now the water is backed up and has chunks of fat in it. I hate house sitting. I'm not ready to be a responsible adult.
  4. Oh god, that sounds awful. Hope your kitten is okay.

I'm making tacos tonight. I really want to go do that, but I'm stuck doing homework atm. I'm very hungry.
  6. I scratch at the door for a full minute. It doesn't open. I turn to the rest of the assembled cats. "Meow. Miaow miaow. Rooowwr?"
  7. The human picks me up and throws me out of the bathroom angrily. They shut the door angrily without filling up the food bowl.
  8. Ayyy miao. That sounds like something someone would sometimes say.
  9. From what I can tell, there's lots of planning that goes in before hand to figure out how to write code and what code to write. Also, there's some system maintenance. That's stuff like taking care of physical machines, or working with remote systems, or linking together different systems, that kind of stuff. But if you don't like reading and writing code, you shouldn't go into cs, because that's the fun part, and most of what you do.
  10. No. I got a 100 in the class and knew more than any of the other students, so it's not like they could argue it was hurting my academics. I sat in the back corner, too, so it was not distracting or anything. I'm not sure the teacher really noticed.
  11. When I took precalc in high school, I was unable to get into the honors class, so I had to take the regular version. I have never taken an easier math class. Every day in that class, I would sleep for 45-60 minutes, until they gave out homework, and then do the homework in five minutes and go back to sleep. It was awesome, but I really should have taken honors.
  12. I'm a cs major as well. Wouldn't say I'm in the field yet, but studying it.
  13. I exported the files to pdf before class, and it worked beautifully. Saved my ass on a couple questions. Test went okay. Better than I was worried it would.
  14. Oh, that's actually q really good idea that I didn't think of. I think I can do that at work today. Nice, thanks Arceus.
  15. Powerpoints. I was studying for a test tomorrow, and the lectures are available only as powerpoint slides in a .pptx format, but I only have open office's version of powerpoint, which doesn't support .pptx very well. It reads it, but the format gets [bleep]ed up badly. MS Office has a promotion for college kids to get the suite free, but when I tried to do that tonight, it didn't recognize my school email, which means my school probably didn't opt in. Sad stuff, I wanted it pretty badly tonight. The test is open note/book/computer, so I'm going to take my laptop in and try to use it to cover what I'm missing in my notes, but I hope I don't have to rely on it, because fixing the format mid test is going to be a [bleep].
  16. I intertwine myself around the can human's legs, meowing insistently, as they go to fill up the food bowl in the bathroom where it's stored. Hucan walks into the bathroom and notices the smell of a surprise. They start yelling in their eldritch language. I bat the food bowl and meow more insistently.
  17. The jingle of keys fitting into the lock sounds outside the door. I spring out from under the sofa, half-eaten bug forgotten. "MEOW! MEOW! MEOW!"
  18. Well that was a disappointing 3 new posts.

That's stupid. Obviously Biyomon is the best.

That is just sickening. :\ Seriously, never visiting your area if kids can go about committing manslaughter on reckless charges and get nothing more then a slap. tbh I don't know why anyone would visit any middle eastern country. Because they have an extremely rich and interesting culture? Because the roots of three of the most prominent religions in the world trade back to the area? Because people might want to further the understanding of a region that has had immense impacts on the Western world in the past 50+ years, because of our habit of imperialism? That's a really awful way to dismiss an entire culture.
  21. Isn't it spring where you live?
  22. You know, I'd be all for self bagging, but it's just not an option in the states. It's not exactly our faults. It's actually been fairly recently that some stores have stopped having the associates physically take things out to your car for you, at least in a few grocery stores in my home town.
  23. ye No one is going to post below me. I'm going to be the last poster on this thread
