Yeah math and physics is pretty easy if you are even mildly interested in learning it. (ie: doing more then the bare ass minimum your teacher tells you to do). But then again I guess that goes for just about anything. You say that, but I assume you're fairly decent at math, so it's easy for you to just be like "It's easy if you just put in the work." But if you had a bad teacher in elementary who didn't correctly teach you addition, or even worse, a bad class in middle/high school and didn't learn algebra, you are 100% ducked for every math heavy class from that point on. And algebra is legitimately very difficult to learn, there's a lot of abstraction away from 3 apples and 3 apples make 6 apples, and that abstraction is difficult to learn if you don't have the right mind.

Yeah, but those problems seem particularly prevalent in printers. More so than in, say, TVs, which are more complex and seem more prone to problems than a printer. Sure you *can* design a TV which is awful to install and has a terrible UI, but for the most part, they're easy to set up. Just plug in all the things you need to the back of the TV and plug it in and it's good to go, with very few problems down the road. Printers aren't bad because we don't know how to fix them, though. They suck because no one really cares that they suck. We kinda just deal with it. This is very true.

I've just never used a printer which didn't have errors installing, printer heads dying in unfathomable ways, connectivity issues, or bad user interface design. Most of them have had multiple. I mean, I'm sure there exists one out there that doesn't have these problems, but I've never seen it. But I guess that's neither here nor there for 3d printers' popularity.

"SCREE!!" I screech at Sara's form darting away. Why does everyone want outside? Don't they know it's dinner time!? I run across the room at the door. I jump up and slam into it. Nothing happens. I run around to make another pass. I don't go very fast, but when I run into the lamp my impressive inertia sends it flying into the ground regardless. "MRIAOW" I meow, frightened. "Meow meow! Meow mriaow mriaow."

You know, considering the usability problems with 2d printers that we *still* have, it seems like we're a long way off from mass-produced 3d printers. But maybe not.

Granted. It can no longer play video games from the 90s because they run too fast on your machine. I wish TIF was dead.

Sara goes limp underneath me. Either they are dead, or they are unconscious. Either way, my stomach is gurgling. I get off them, and look at the swinging cat door. All the other cats ignore me, going about their days. "Meow." I whine, feeling the crushing lonliness of my quest suddenly very fully.
