  1. I'd put that cash to some skills... save up a bit and buy a DAxe if you haven't already Look into getting a gnome scarf? they are nice Obsidian capes are nice, too In fact, look into these items (most are free or really cheap) Bonesack Cattleprod Darklight Glarial's amulet Rat pole Trollweiss Wolfbane Mudskipper hat Snelms Obsidian Cape Pirate's hook Dark Dagger? Dramen staff Progress hat Tribal mask Monkey greegree They are some unique skiller items
  2. I dont think I would burn or drop them.. if you wanted to do that I would go to the teaks and burn/drop those for better experience. And since maples are too cheap right now, they are bad in general to bank (like what other people said), so I would personally cut yews since they are actually pretty high in price right now
  3. Sorry I don't know the answer, but when I read this I said, "What are you taking about, dragons don't wear armor!" hahaha
  4. I would do cake stalls :)
  5. Yup, Miner I, an occasional poster on these forums, is a level 3 skiller/merchant and player moderator.
  6. By clutter I mean personal clutter. I don't like them. Cruiser, I don't understand what you are saying... is Tip.it planning to move to phpBB3 in the near future, in which it will be possible? If not, then the time would be worth it, no?
  7. There are a lot of places where you can high-alc that are random-free.. I don't know too many on the top of my head, but I believe that the little top part of the duel arena is random-free... as well as in the arena Also, in the GWD it's free, so you could find a safespot there. In the random-event places it is random-free I believe...
  8. Not enough to make it worth my time, mostly did it for fun, a few 100k :P (does take a bit of time to find a meleer under level 30ish that has enough money to stake/is willing) Accidently got experience points a couple times, too, making people auto-retaliate on me after they stopped attacking me, causing their own death muahahhaha, so I doubt I would have done it much longer
  9. LOL Mc90123 OT: Very nice, very lucky :D
  10. I had similar views on Jagex a bit ago. But then I read a piece by a Jagex moderator... he explained that they do have a good system to detect bots, but even if they detect thousands a day and ban them, there were still thousands more created in that time to take the place of the others. And you can't detect a bot instantly, so there would always have been that delay.
  11. Well I was in the Lumbridge cellar bank and I was making cakes and this person saw that I was cooking and gave me 400 "extra" uncooked fish  EDIT: Oh and isn't it awesome how now these things won't be possible because of the updates soon
  12. It's the end to the uninterrupted drop parties. You can still do some at the party rooms (in the east of Falador, for example), but they will be announced throughout Runescape if they are over a certain amount and then a bunch of people you do not know will show up.
  13. No. When Jagex releases the charts and graphs about the GE that they were talking about, it might be possible for Tip.it to gather this information, though, and have a live update on prices :D (and at the moment, manually gathering would be waaaay too tedius)

No problem 8-) I have no idea at all how long it would take. I'm currently working on level 30 slayer, and I can't get even get near 1,000 exp/hour. But then again, I'm level 3 and using rings of recoil to raise my slayer and have to bank after 1-3 monsters... level 27 monsters... I'm guessing, though, it will probably take a good amount of time. You might want to consider getting your strength up so that you do more damage and thus get more experience when training attack and defence.

I don't know about that... from the Tip.it guide it says That means you will get 50 experience points in slayer for killing a monster with 50 hitpoints. If you need to get 8,000 slayer experience, you would need to kill 160 monsters that have 50 hp (you would do 8,000 damage). For hitpoints, you get 1.3333 (one and one third) times the amount of damage you do. (It's the same amount of exp you get per skill from using controlled, 4/3)

Dude how did you know that?!?!?!Also, what if i trained att to 99, then once I reached it switched to def. what would my def lvl b? Someone else can correct me if I did this wrong, but here's what I did: For level 85 slayer, you need 3,258,594 experience. You had 588,151 experience already, so you need 2,670,443 experience in slayer to get to level 85. For slayer, you get 1 experience point for every 1 damage you do to a monster. That means you will need to do 2,670,443 damage. If you are training attack, you get 4exp for every damage point you do. That means you would get (2,670,443 x 4) experience in attack getting to 85 slayer. Then, I just added that number, 10,681,772, to your current experience to find the total at the end. For hitpoints, for every 1 damage you do to a monster, you get 1.3333 hitpoints experience, so I did 2,670,443 * 1.3333 and then added that number to your current EXP. If after you got 99 attack you started training defense, you would get an extra 194,458 experience to defence. If I had your current to that, it is 194,458+2,124,289 which equals 2,318,747. That would mean you would have 81 defence, almost 82. Using this method, your combat level would be 108. To find combat level, I used this calculator: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=combat_calc.htm
  17. Nice video :). I saw it on putfile the other day (before seeing this video) and liked it Stinks about the wilderness update, eh? On another note, what's that soda can in your inventory? I've never done P2P PKing..
  18. You could get 99 mage by using high alchemy on items that cost 250-300 less than their high alchemy value (and therefore it would be free). Many rune items, for example, on the GE, cost cheaper than their high alchemy value, so you can buy those and then alchemy them. Also, ruby/innoculation bracelets are similar, I believe (look into other jewelry items and crafting hides, like d'hide). The fastest, but rather expensive, way to get 99 magic is from using one of the Ancient Magicks ice spells in multi-combat area (trolls or something I believe is best?)
  19. If I were you I would raise my mining level to 70 by mining iron ore in the Al Kharid mine and then dropping it. This shouldn't take very long at all, and then I would go and mine adamant ore for money. You can make over 100k/hour mining adamant ore in the Lumbridge West swamp and then switching worlds, mining more, switching to a new world, etc, until you have a full inventory. Then sell the ore and get your cash :D
  20. I agree with that. 1-2 rune items is a little overkill. Perhaps similar drops as Lesser Demons but a bit more frequency of meds?
  21. Would it be possible to create an option to disable the visibility of avatars? It is possible to disable signatures, which is nice, but also turning off avatars would remove a lot more clutter. Perhaps there is a problem because then you might not be able to differentiate Tip.it moderators from players? Thanks for reading/considering/implementing

  23. I would suggest not doing option C or D. I have seen too many skillers become prayer pures with absolutely no success. They will get to like 40 or so prayer and then not have the funds or means to continue. Only consider this if you KNOW you will be able to get 99 or your desired level (70?), I would recommend even start saving the money needed and see if your mind changed before you bought any bones. If you want to raise combat, do it now. It is much easier to skill almost all skills if you have a higher combat level. That is why I feel it would be better now... you would be losing too much potentially saved time Option A is what I will probably do (I'm level 3 as well). It benefits me as I can do certain things other people cannot do in peace. Also, it lets me not worry about 7 or so other skills (combat ones). ALSO, I don't have to worry about being considered a noob because of my "low" combat levels. (some people may not care about what others think, but it makes life easier). If I were to choose Option B, I would probably do more than just train all combat skills. I would do one of these things: Make a Bounty Hunter pure (level 50 or whatever that first limit is or level 100 or whatever the second limit is) Make a mage pure (considerably cheaper and easier than prayer pure. By mage pure I mean 99 mage 10hp) Make a hitpoints pure (with quests and genie lamps, you can easily get 30+ hitpoints with only level 7-8 or so combat. This would keep you a skiller, but would make some skills easier, and definitely keep you a lot safer. Now that gravestones exist, though, this isn't as good of an option because if you die with valuable stuff, you can always run back to it.) Train all combat FAST (I would get to level 90+ as fast as I could, probably keeping all stats at the same level. This way I could bypass the "noob" stages extremely fast.. This would mean ignoring skills for a while, then getting to level 90 or so, and then slowly train combat and skills from there on. OH, and if you do this method, I would get to combat level 90 and then train a profitable skill like RC. Since you can't effectively make money from RC at level 3, this would be a skill to abuse now. Then use profits from RC on other skills) Yeaaaaaaaaaa there's my opinions. I'm level 3 and I plan to stay that way :P
  24. Really? Can you confirm this? Had plans to level up my crafting for the sole reason to be able to craft a banner, but if you or someone else can confirm this, I would greatly appreciate it and save myself a few 100k and a bit of time :D (The question is whether or not you can use the assist system to make yourself, with someone else's crafting level and easel, one of the nontradable construction banners)
  25. Nice level and nice max hit!! Good luck on 99, too! With gravestones, now you can be more daring and let the hp get a bit lower because you can always run back and grab your gear :D
