  1. i love every year how jagex puts out something on april 1st. It is always pretty funny :
  2. nice guide, but a question why do you have that helm for the range duo section? I didn't know it gave any range or prayer bonuses
  3. combat stats simply are not fast to train. If you do slayer the most xp per hour you will get is around 70k an hour. Firemaking or fletching you can easily get 200k xp per hour. It may be expensive but its very possible. So it takes more time to get 99 combat skill. Also 99 in one combat skill does not mean you have 85 slayer as someone posted earlier. I have 99 attack and 97 strength and only have 83 slayer. It is very possible to have one 99 combat stat and have 85 slayer but it does not automatically mean it is so.
  4. because strength can not be power trained to the extent of cooking fletching or firemaking. It takes quite a while to get the cape in comparison to the other 3 mentioned. So yea it is more common but that is because people want to be able to hit higher, not just have a cape.
  5. whip for sure, its the best weapon in the game hands down. Zammy spear is only controlled or def training. Sara sword is 2h whip. Get the whip
  6. i have played like 4 years and only gotten one and it was the lesser demon one. But something else like that i have never ever gotten a left half, hows that happen i dont know
  7. real question is why a person with a slayer cape would use a dragon spear lol. Yea i think its just part of the cape
  8. If you do not believe that a group of players is manipulating prices try getting into a c i d y chat. gl its always full because it is full of really really rich players who talk about nothing but when to buy out an item. They all as a group purchase all of an item, wait for the price to rise, then sell for profits. The saradomin brews are being bought out by a clan, and they are selling them all once the price hits 8k ea. You think people can't manipulate prices, haha you don't have over 1b like most of these players. I hate manipulation just as much or more than anyone else. I thoroughly enjoy slayer, but all the weapons and armor I want keep flying around in price. So I really don't want to wake up to find 1/10 of my wealth is gone or anything like that. So i stay to basic armor and weapons, which slows down my slayer experience. Manipulators make money, thats something that will never change. How jagex can fix it, is limit the number of items a player can have. People do not need 267 bandos tassets. People might need 10k yews bows, because they can actually use them. Jagex needs to set limits on items, that actually have uses.
  9. Here is what I figure. Lets say you are dueling. You have full veracs versus their dharoks. The dharoks guy prays, so you pray. He calls you a noob for praying. Magnify this by 10x and you will have the new pk worlds. No matter what you do, pkers will flame, regardless of if you follow their rules or not. I rarely pk because I don't like the atmosphere, but yea as was said earlier they just want an easier way to kill you. In f2p if someone says no armor, I love to just laugh at them and kill them. If they are stupid enough to follow the "pk" rules let them, but that doesn't mean you have to. They are looking for the best way to kill you, and if you follow their rules most likely they wil win. They are a player killer by profession. So here is my advice ignore their childishness. They can't help it if they are stupid enough to follow their rules, so just let them "no armor" and call you a "prayer noob" but in the end if the fight is fair and you don't follow their stupid rules you should win the fight. \
  10. I think that was a good experiement and for the most part probably summed up what you would find after 1k shots
  11. If it was against the rules jagex would not have made junk trading legal. They changed it just so people could junk trade. So you please tell me its against the rules again. =D>
  12. I'd wear attack it was the first cape I got other than quest, and trimmed attack is ownage
  13. I think it is because the Torag's stat effect is completely horrible. Any other melee set has a good effect, so you can wear the full set. Torag's is just not the same. Also a lot of times melee armor is for status. Hence 3rd age and bandos armor. People pay more to look better, torag's is dirt cheap.
  14. You get every task done, and I could as well, but what about those people slaying with only 45 slayer and 70 combat stats? They surely will need guthans or a bunyip and chances are they don't have 68 summoning. Just saying
  15. you have a lot of good information but a lot i disagree with as well. IMO Guthans is the #1 set a slayer should buy. I use bunyip and guthans on nearly every single task. The only ones I don't use on are prayer tasks. Guthans is invaluable to the slayer. Second I looked through out your guide and saw no mention of strength training. You said the Saradomin Godsword is useful on tasks, which I imagine it is. However the Saradomin Sword is faster experience, and if you use in combination with guthans actually is faster xp per hour. Also I don't see why you would block waterfiends or Black Demons unless you don't train summoning. They are both amazing droppers of crimson charms. Fence
