  1. What's the icon next to Zerk Churro's name?
  2. Was surprised to find someone like him on F2P. He added me a little after, nice guy.
  3. [hide=Them singing to 'Remember the name'] [/hide]
  4. [hide=EXTREME VERBAL LANGUAGE & RACISM] [/hide] I have never seen anything like this before in my years of playing lol. There must've been at;east 100 of them there. Although, kinda racist, considering I am a chinese, but it was really funny tbh. It happened in W1 btw.
  5. Does the DPS difference between those combo's really matter that much?
  6. Since it's confirmed it's not an interview with a JMod. Can any admins change the title to something more suitable? Or lock if seen fit.
  7. It's not from Lunagang. I thought it was a good idea to post it here, so I did.
  8. This is not my work, and I claim no rights over it. This interview is from Lunagang, and all credits go to the creator of the article. _____________________________________________________________________ QUESTION: Jagex, what are they doing? It is clear to everyone that Jagex, the makers of RuneScape are more into money the last months and that the players will suffer from that. A Jagex moderator has not confirmed this but it is commonly known. But we would like to ask to give a little bit more respect to Jagex because they are likely to be in bad times. There are many causes for that, but none has been officially confirmed ANSWER: Cause 1 - Failed projects: Many projects such as MechScape and War of Legends have proved to be a failure. Because of that Jagex has lost thousands of dollars. The only real game where they make much profit with is RuneScape, but the money they make with it is decreasing too. Hopefully StellarDawn and 8Realms will become a bit bigger success because otherwise this could be the downfall of the Runescape as we know it. Case 2- Investors: A part of the investors in Jagex are money-grubbers. Jagex can however hardly provide it to them so they are forced to make as much profit out of Runescape. The brothers Gower, the creators of RuneScape and first developers of Runescape have even almost no power at Jagex. Case 3- decreasing hits: Probably is this for many an unknown case, but the amount of hits to Runescape has been halved last year! That means less profit for Jagex, in the graphic below this text you will find the amount of hits in the last few months: Case 4 - Dungeoneering: Dungeoneering is a skill that they have worked on from the beginning of RuneScape, but dungeoneering did not work out as planned. The result of this is even more loss for Jagex. The original idea of a new skill is next the fun to get new players/members. This was not the case with Dungeoneering. Case 5 - The image: The image of RuneScape at people that are playing it is very low. It is seen as "TheMMORPG for kids". Of course we know this is not the case. But sadly RuneScape will never lose this image. There are some people just quitting because of the image. Case 6 - Little advertisement: There is not much advertisement for Runescape: It is never stated in the known game-magazines and there are not many ads for the game. There is no money for ads. The only possibility for players to still find Runescape is pure luck of mouth-to-mouth advertisement. The problem is that most people will be laughed at if they say in public to everyone that they play RuneScape, what partly drops the last option. The consequences of their losses are not to overlook, but it unfortunately is for Jagex also the only way to get money. A few of them are written below. Result 1 - No action against botting: Bots are for Jagex one of the most sources of income. The most bots are members. Jagex acts to the players like they take action against the bots, but this is not or nearly not the case. The game cannot miss the bots: without them the whole economy of Runescape would crash. Result 2 - Real-World-Trading: Without to much awareness Jagex will begin with Real-World Trading themselves, while this is forbidden by themselves. Just think at the loyalty points that have come and think at the ornate katana. The ornate katana is a object people in the US can get as they buy a game card in the shop. Result 3 - Wilderness & free trade: In February the wilderness and free trade came back. This preceded with (probably) a corrupt vote. With the comeback of the wilderness and free trade many ex-players became again members and there came a lot of more bots in the game. This caused Jagex to gain much profit. The amount of hits raised with millions but it was in vain: after a few weeks the amount of hits decreased again much. Result 4 - Bad quality updates: With less money you cannot expect to produce beautiful updates al the time. The little money is also the reason of the bad quality of the updates. The only things today what Jagex does a lot are graphic updates and that may also be said once. With this article we hope that you also understand the side of Jagex. You yourself can also help to solve the problem of Jagex to recruit new players.
  9. Hey guys, as you know, the Order of Cabbage (if you still remember them) is hitting it's 7th year old on RS. The cult is hosting the biggest event it's had in it's years in Gielinor. There'll be lots and lots of bombings, games and rewards hosted by me aswell. More info on the tif thread here, http://forum.tip.it/topic/297020-the-order-of-cabbage-cabbagepalooza-7/
  10. Bump for awesomeness. Sign me up for KoTop, as usual. Kah Bah Gee!
  11. Bandos is stab-weak or slash-weak? Anyway, most maxed stats & welfare players use rapiers, since the attack bonuses don't really make much of a difference on their slayer tasks. Just wondering if I need a longsword to cover up for my low/mediocre stats.
  12. Here's a real question: How did these people get hold of your emails in the first place?
  13. Alright, since majority answered Rapier, I'll go with rapier.
  14. My stats in sig. I don't boss. Would a Chaotic Rapier be good enough for me since I don't boss? Or would I need a Chaotic Longsword to make up for my non-99 stats? Or should I not get a chaotic at all?
  15. It's photoshopped. Meant to show Jagex's doings are slowly bringing the game closer to microtransactions.
  16. RWT? When I was cleaned from dicing, I had a friend lend me 1M, I FoG and GOP for another 2.2M and start doing coals at 10K at a time.
  17. Depends on what items you flip. Raw materials are usually 200-300gp high. 25K (Quota) * 250 = 6.25M on average should be alright.
  18. Flip. Do coals, I always manage a 2gp margin, sometimes 5-7 if I'm lucky after a G.E update. It's not extraordinarily fast, but it's decent. While waiting you can get some extra pocket change from people who double money. Give them 5k, then 10k, then 15k, then 30k, make them think you are going all in later. Of course, asking them to show you their cashpile is important. You're not going to give away 10K to a level 3 who's not going to double back. Sometimes I can go upwards to 100K before walking away. Just enjoy the game, you shouldn't buy your skills anyway.
  19. OTM. EDIT: No G.E? :(
  20. Since free trade, 21st Febuary iirc. And about the RWT'ers.
  21. 1. Log on old account. 2. Check old offers.
  22. I didn't get one, but I did for Fremmenik Saga's. It's a legit email fyi, leads to the original site.
  23. Curious, Water, how did you survive through 99 prayer and more?
