So today I was at the G.E, doing round my business earning back my cashpile after losing 92M from dice gaming. (I was scammed) I saw this guy saying "Follow for 100M." Well, of course I knew it was a scam, but since my items were buying slow, I decided to follow anyway. So he says it's "Bidding", and I immediately thought 'Typical scam, heh.' But he did give the winner of the bid 100M. I thought it was just his friend, or another mule account. Then I proceeded to follow him the next 3 games, he gave away 100M to the winners. So I was entirely convinced, I took part in the next one. Hussled my way through bids, I won in the end with 2M. So as he was about to give me 100M, he logged. One of the previous winners gave me 200K, and told me to add him, he then said he had to go. I then hopped worlds, I saw the scammer. I saw him trading (I think) with the 3 previous winners. tl;dr: I was scammed. :( I can't believe I fell for trust games lol. But you have to admit, it was convincing.

Cloudbrowse app does it fine. It's a browser that supports Java and Flash. No jailbreak required. It's hard to play on touch but not impossible. I use it on my iPod touch every now and then to check on my G.E offers. Takes awhile though. Might be good for ivies.

No, the way they said it made it clear that it was a peice of software to help either find bots, or to deal with them. All this does is hurt the profits the bots make. I'm almost certain that this new Jagex 'tool' for combatting bots was stat wiping. It was the only noticable thing Jagex did differently around the time they said it which is a joke. Especially with GP making bots, all stat wiping does is make them gain resources a couple % slower. Oh noes! My mining is now 50 instead of 90, I'll get 20 less iron ore per hour!!! I'm saying with this update, the price of raw materials crashed like a piece of rock. Making botting no longer a viable method to gain money? Botting is always a viable method to gain money since, assuming your main doesn't get banned and you don't get infected with viruses, it doesn't cost you anything, whether time- or moneywise. If you could divide by zero you would get infinity, therefore botting is infinitely efficient. An inferior bot might need some manual coaching with randoms and such, but the time devoted to helping the bot out is still negligible. If the gp/hr was say, 100K before the crash. It might be ~50K/hr now. The cash gained per hour might be considerably reduced enough so that GP doesn't earn fast enough for gold sellers to sell.

But that's prior free trade, no? Now there's plenty much more level 3's botting for GP to RWT if you've seen iron ores & yew trees in F2P.

Jagex will cross the line for me when they start to hunger for money too much. The community is already a mess as it is. I'm seeing PvP pures and jerks wherever I go, skilling, PvM'ing. It's disgusting.

(Late reply) Wouldn't we all be a bit pissed to miss out on a chance for bils like that? I know I'm a bit envious. He actually quit not only because of that, but also because Jagex went against their promise to give players their 3 month membership if they took part in that workshop event thing. Many seem to have disgarded the actual point of the topic:

The recent RoW update increased the drop number of coal, yew logs, essence and herbs by a stunning amount. Coal and yew logs are almost worthless now. Is the an anti-bot measure?

Stringing is the same as Plank Make. But 7 xp less for each spell. It's one click per inventory though, so it's ALOT less clicking. Though it's almost twice the cost.

Sonic?! Tip.it crew?! This is even more madness than wilderness and free trade returning.. (I joke :)). About the event.. I've been playing for 7 years. (Or was it 8?) And I can say this year's event is one of the best. No running around talking to npc's, running errands, bascially fun/minigame-oriented. The rewards.. just so-so. But the event overall was nice.

300k votes in 2 hours. Mathematically we can get 3.6 million votes a day. Approximately 3 weeks before poll ends, we can get.. 75.6 million votes. Half that out if generosity, we get 32.8 million votes. Do we even have that many players?
