Wow, I can't believe some of the Project Cafe bashing. The only thing we have are rumors right now, but if true, would put it way above the PS3 and 360 in power. It seems to be leaving the Wii and motion control focus and going towards establishing great ties with 3rd parties to have a great lineup. The rumored controller is simply-put amazing, and would help out many genres. No way is it going to be insignificant. It's easily my most-anticipated news for e3.
  2. Day 8 - A Song that I know all the words to: Multiple songs could be chosen, but I'll go with this one. I absolutely love I'm Yours. It's the perfect song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkHTsc9PU2A [hide=Past days' choices] Day 1 - Favorite Song: The Cave by Mumford and Sons Day 2 - Least Favorite Song: We R Who We R by Ke$ha Day 3 - Song that Inspires Happiness: Rhythm of Love by Plan White T's Day 4 - Song that Makes Me Sad: Malfoy's Mission by Nicholas Hooper Day 5 -Song that Reminds Me of Someone: Horchata by Vampire Weekend Day 6 - Song that Reminds Me of a Place: The Zephyr Song by Red Hot Chili Peppers Day 7 - Song that Reminds Me of an Event: 1901 by Phoenix [/hide]
  3. Day 7 - A Song that Reminds Me of an Event: This song was played at the end of Super Bowl XLV during the Packers victory promo. Hearing it brings me back to that glorious night :shades: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiQppszlXrg Here's the short video that aired after the Super Bowl with 1901 playing. <3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYQCt9l0bzg [hide=Past days' choices] Day 1 - Favorite Song: The Cave by Mumford and Sons Day 2 - Least Favorite Song: We R Who We R by Ke$ha Day 3 - Song that Inspires Happiness: Rhythm of Love by Plan White T's Day 4 - Song that Makes Me Sad: Malfoy's Mission by Nicholas Hooper Day 5 -Song that Reminds Me of Someone: Horchata by Vampire Weekend Day 6 - Song that Reminds Me of a Place: The Zephyr Song by Red Hot Chili Peppers [/hide]
  4. Day 6 - A Song That Reminds Me of a Place: This song reminds me of San Diego when I went there on vacation last spring break. The song played when in this (really good) pizza place that we ate at. I had not heard this song in forever, and it got stuck in my head for the rest of the vacation. It's one of my favorites  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fcRa5Z6LmU [hide=Past days' choices] Day 1 - Favorite Song: The Cave by Mumford and Sons Day 2 - Least Favorite Song: We R Who We R by Ke$ha Day 3 - Song that Inspires Happiness: Rhythm of Love by Plan White T's Day 4 - Song that Makes Me Sad: Malfoy's Mission by Nicholas Hooper Day 5 -Song that Reminds Me of Someone: Horchata by Vampire Weekend [/hide]
  5. Day 5 - A Song that Remind Me of Someone: This one was pretty difficult. I usually don't put faces to songs; most of the time I remember songs based on memories of events or things, but not people. But if I had to choose one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkUQ-OBazbc I first heard of Vampire Weekend because of my sister. She started playing Contra, and this was my favorite song on there and the one I most remember with this memory. So, I suppose it fits. [hide=Past days' choices] Day 1 - Favorite Song: The Cave by Mumford and Sons Day 2 - Least Favorite Song: We R Who We R by Ke$ha Day 3 - Song that Inspires Happiness: Rhythm of Love by Plan White T's Day 4 - Song that Makes Me Sad: Malfoy's Mission by Nicholas Hooper [/hide]
  6. Day 4 - Song that Makes Me Sad: Oh Harry Potter, how I love thee and your music http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnaorBEX38Y [hide=Past day's choices] Day 1 - Favorite Song: The Cave by Mumford and Sons Day 2 - Least Favorite Song: We R Who We R by Ke$ha Day 3 - Song that Inspires Happiness: Rhythm of Love by Plan White T's [/hide]
  7. Day 3 - A song that inspires happiness. Many options, but I can't help but like Plain White Tees: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWiwuiT58Yc [hide=Past day's choices] Day 1 - Favorite Song: The Cave by Mumford and Sons Day 2 - Least Favorite Song: We R Who We R by Ke$ha [/hide]
  8. ^ROFL at Gay Bar. I never heard that song before. What an odd song... Day 2: Least favorite song. This one wasn't too hard. For me basically any Ke$ha song, but I went with this one in particular: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXvmSaE0JXA [hide=Past day's choices]Day 1 - Favorite Song: The Cave by Mumford and Sons[/hide] EDIT: Whoops. I just realized its supposed to be 1 a day, and not everyone on the same day. I fail #-o
  9. This looks like fun (as long as I can remember to update this post every day!) Day 1: My favorite song. Tough choice, but going from right now, I'll say... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tL_Ye0h5xEI
  10. The problem that I have when looking at it is a split focus. My eyes keep jumping from the spade and the light source to the text, when the main focus, it seems, should be on the render. Also, I don't quite like the text. Too big and distracting like snowpelt said, which is leading to the text dominating the sig.
  11. So am I just doing it completely wrong? Well actually the (9+3) is not in the denominator to begin with. If you substitute (9+3) for x, you'd get 48/2x. This, however, is equivalent to 48x/2 because it goes by basic order of operations. You divide first and then multiply. So you divide the 2 into 48 and then multiply by x (which would put the x in the numerator). If you wanted to write the equation how you have, you'd need parentheses on the 2x (or brackets on the 2(9+3)). So using x, it would be 48/(2x) and back to the original equation, 48/[2(9+3)].
  12. I just did the same thing. It's amazing how many people on the internet don't know how to do basic math and then try to justify that the right answer is 2. With how it's written, it can only be 288, no ifs', and's, or but's about it.
  13. Rocket: Robot on Wheels? The character in the screen looks kind of like him... If its right, I'll concede my turn and let foursideking post since he wanted to before :-P
  14. This is the greatest update :D. Now, I just hope they make all the trees look this nice.
  15. Saw Limitless for the 2nd time  I have to write a paper on the movie for my Comp class, so that should be fun - I've never written a paper on a movie before.
  16. In a way, as much as i hate the song and its godawful lyrics, I feel bad for her. It's one thing to not like the song, but completely hating on her? That's just harsh.
  17. This is what I think should happen instead. i like the idea of Str and Def kits to armor, but I think a possible Runecrafting/Magic tie in in the form of Rune imbuing could be good as well, to give armor/weapons magic porperties and benefits (untradable ofc). For example, imbuing fire runes or some sort to a weapon would give it the ability to inflict fire magic damage some of the time as well as physical. I'm not sure the best way to go about this, but I'd say you'd need both smithing and runecrafting levels. This would also bring in some more variety in the game, and give more strategy to certain-level combat. Another option to this method would be to imbue directly into the bars themselves through the rune altars. Then smithing these imbued bars would produce the desired armor/weapon with different properties than typical. Or, it could range in a whole new series of armor/weapons. Thus, in this way, you wouldn't have to introduce new ores. You could just transform the ones you have into a new line of high leveled untradable bars and byproducts. This could also help runecrafting from being just a money-maker to something with a real purpose and benefits (outside of double nats).
  18. Well, I did actually have a coaster ready, but if we're pushing this deadline back, I'll be glad to wait. I don't think my coaster was very good anyway, and I haven't had the time at all to play RCT much this week (I don't have a coaster unlocked on Arid Heights with boosters yet, and I wanted to experiment with them to see if I can make my coaster faster, so waiting is good for me).

Software engineer at Google. Disney Imagineer. Roller Coaster Designer. All those would be really cool I think, but pretty hard to get into. The coaster and imagineer-type amusement jobs were more of my childhood fantasy. Now, I've decided to study computer engineering/science, so the Google job would be my top one for now. Mainly, with something like that, I would just want to work at a top company such as Google, Intel, or IBM.
  20. Haha. Although you do have a point, I'd rather not considering I am going home and will be able to get it this weekend (but won't have the time to build a suer coaster). If this week isn't quite so hectic as last, I could totally enter the next competition.... That is, if anyone even participates! Where is everyone's entries? :(
  21. How could it considering dungeoneering just recently came out?
  22. Banked turns for steel minicoasters. Virtually every other type of rollercoaster had them, except the small ones. I'm not exactly sure what else was added, maybe the weird track element where the track goes from a banked turn up to increasing... but that'd only be on the vertical roller coaster? Also, the large half loop for inverted roller coasters are off limits. Post a screenie of your rollercoaster (without the stats) and we can verify its made from legit elements. Oh ok. Large half loop is blah, and I rarely use any of the minicoasters anyway, so I should be good. But... ..From the looks of it, I'm not going to be able to enter this competition this time. I misread the deadline, and I don't actually have RCT with me in college now, so I won't have the time to build one by Saturday. But if this is like a weekly competition, I should be able to contribute once I go home and get it
  23. Wait. Banked turns aren't in the original? Sorry, I only have Roller Coaster Tycoon Deluxe. Is there any other track elements that are prohibited?
  24. That's more than enough lol. I've been doing it with 25m cash stacks. Unless you got a strong player base that trusts you with 10m+ of course. Which is true for Awq but not me. :( Oh are you serious? I just figured everyone would be betting these kind of amounts. In awq, people were betting 5-10m+ loads of times, so I figured I would need at least 100m to be on the safe side in case someone gets on a winning streak and bankrupts me.
  25. Tip: Host games. I would if I had the kind of money for it :P I don't think 34m would have been enough (unless I set some extreme limits, but still..) What do you think would be the minimum amount needed to host? No problem :D It was fun and exciting even if I did lose.
