i say no only because it'd give spammers more room to spam their spam! when i want to type a longer sentence, i end the sentence and start the next one with an ellipses (...) so that my bud knows itjey are the same sentence. or chop down your sentences. what they SHOULD really change about the chat is how the filter system works. i still don't understand why it censors words that aren't anywhere close to a cuss or obscenity!

awesome article! it's good that peeps are looking at these updates from different viewpoints! the updates definitely aren't "Just bad" or "Just good," just like most updates. i like what you said about pkers. i myself can't stand the "pures" who go out into the wild for easy kills. that's not what it's about. krazyfaken, i read your post. that is horrendous that they would do that. how could they let a player play for two years and then take his account away because of a misunderstood name? thats so ridiculous. if think we should rally tip.it members to send complaints to jagex because that's just way out of line.

no offense but why is it so terribly exciting to meet a "Staff member?" Ha! it's not like i have anything to ask them. i guess it's cool to know someone 'behind the scenes,' but they're sworn to secrecy anyway and will only tease you with useless info, hehe. i've know several pmods in the past, but i dont think i've met an actual staff member. one of my old pals (have no idea his name) had a convo with paul gower, but otherwise i've never heard from them. i talk to a lot of people, doesn't matter to me if they're staff or just a new member! people are interesting regardless. i dont think it'd be difficult for a mod to hide his/her identity.

i agree. i would be shocked if they didn't reply to that. and NEWS FLASH, they already know that the sender is probably faking it. but how would it reflect on them to be getting suicide notes and not doing anything about it? geez. grow up young children.

i actually just decided to return to rs after two years of retirement! i don't like overcrowded servers anyway, hee hee.

i very much agree. it's the same as using torches to keep away the mosquitoes. you get rid of the majority that was really causing a problem, and only a few stupid ones still come at you only to get burnt. and jagex/help sites have been putting up warnings against scam sites since forever. you are just foolish and ignorant if you go to one, sorry!

suicide is a sticky subject. unfortunately is SO common amongst teens nowadays. there's so much pressure being put on teens. i swear that kids have schedules busier than adults with full paying jobs! and every so often, each teen needs someway of getting attention. we have so many levels of recognition through schools and sports, some kids go to desperate means just to get noticed and feel like they're worth something. it's very sad when you think about it. i'll admit i've contemplated suicide before (not over rs..). it's common i think for anyone to think about what they're life would be like 'without them.' but just think, what does your death accomplish? you make a whole bunch of people that were close to you very sad, and you let the first x number years of your life go to waste. if you're life has really been so hard on you, then be thankful! you've been given a life that'll make you much stronger for the future! don't quit, there's always someone who will love you. my piece of advice: do not laugh off friends who mention suicide! even if they are joking. people mention suicide because they want to see if other people care. blowing the person off can be the same thing as saying 'go ahead, we don't care if you do it' to them. be a friend and handle it seriously. that's why i don't like fake things like these, it's just another case of cry wolf that could endanger someone who is actually in trouble.
