  1. I think then, if you could do the quests again, they won't have value...It..doesn't makes sense, from nothing, a NPC u talked forget all the story to start again. Idk how 2 explain it..., then it would be like video-games, if you did it wrong, just don't save: reset and start over again! Get it? :s

I see your point. but then then begs the question "why do we use help guides on games?" But with redoing a quest, you'd first have to have completed the quest. And not everyone would be like "Oh sweet I can do it again!" It'd be more like for people who say "I really liked this one. Since I'm bored..." or "My friend just told me about this one way to do a quest. Gonna see if it works well" sort of deal. But I see your point.

  2. There was actually a suggestion thread on making Elvarg into a repeatable F2P boss a while back. (edit: found it)

I have to agree with you about the coral crossbow, but not the QBD. The initial quest (I forget the name) that gives you the coral crossbow could have been made F2P, but the QBD herself left as members only as an incentive for people to sign up. That, and the crossbow could have been very useful in F2P.

I like the coal bag suggestion as well. Spend coins or DG points to charge up the coal bag so that it will hold the same amount of other ores.

I don't know about redoing quests, but I'd certainly love the option to review the cutscenes from quests. Some of them are pretty cool.

Thanks for the input, and I remember that tread. I actually supported it thou I thought it was long lost.

Troacctid had a blog post about giving f2p some low end members quests that I really liked.

And I think the QBD should be f2p. That'd be funny as hell.

I agree with Troacctid on that. With the updates given to members and such it doesn't seem to hard to pass over old low end quest to F2P, especially if they are almost self contained in F2P parts of the world. and in no way do i want QBD to be F2P, as funny as it sounds. KBD, however, I can see possible and even if not, Elvarg.

I think 'quest reset' doesn't makes sense -.-

Basically, all I am saying is to allow player to pick a quest they liked doing and allow them to redo it. Jagex doesn't even have to give rewards. However, I know of some players who have fond memories of a quest, and few who have mentioned they'd like to redo it. It's basically like adding more replay value to a game.

  3. Give us more room to add more songs to our Runescape playlist or give us 2 more additional playlist

I know not everyone listens to RS music. I tend to enjoy the soundtrack to Okami more than Al-Kharid. But there is some RS music I love. For example, I enjoy almost all the Dungeoneering music and the song from the quest Songs from the Depths included that music added in the Rimmington update, as well as almost every holiday tune I have unlocked. I would like to be able to have more playlist space to add songs, or extra playlist for when its the holidays and when I unlock new Dungeon themes with new music.

Turn the coal bag into a coal/iron/gold bag

I can only imagine this bag at current useful for smithing thou I have used it for mining in the past. Itd be pretty neat if like gravite and chaotic weapons, we could charge our coal bag to carry other ores. For cash or a combination or tokens and cash the reward trader can change our coal bag into and iron or gold bag.

    Quest reset

For a pretty easy quest, I loved Songs from the Depths, and I wish I could replay it. Itd be nice if Jagex gave us the option to reset 5 of our favorite quest to replay. Ill explain.

Suppose you enjoyed The Fremennik Trials quest and want to redo it. Jagex allows you to reset the quest to not done it (or once completed). You of course keep the experience you go from the quest and the abilities to wear the helms but you restart the quest from the beginning and all of the NPCs act as if you have not done the quest, so say you cant use any of Rekkella resources, nor do you travel to Waterbirth Island for free. You get to enjoy the quest again and try new ways to complete it.As an incentive for doing the quest again you might receive a 1 time reward of 2 experience lamp or reoccurring but concurrent reward to buy one of the Fremennik helms at GE price from the shop in Rekkalla regardless of weither it is cheaper or not.

You can reset 5 at once but after completion you have to wait a month to redo it. You can quit the reset at anytime, but must wait a month to start it again. You can do the quest as many times as you like, but you only get the exp lamps once or if you did not claim the helm reward the first time, it will not add on (if you dont claim the reward you cant buy the helms at GE price twice.)

Update F2P range to include low end crossbows.

Allow the coral crossbow (not royal) or up to a mithril crossbow and mithril bolts to be F2P.

Make KBD F2P or rehash Elvarg to be a F2P boss

Sorta unrealistic perhaps, but as the oldest RS boss I think it is possible. Currently F2P can only hunt revenants, which isnt very exciting. Jagex can make KBD F2P. Obviously F2P wont be able to get certain drops and KBD would be extremely difficult as F2P. But it would add more excitement to the free world since KBD location is dangerous and is just about the only boss I can think of that can be done with F2P gear, although extremely difficult with things like the prayer pot, antifire pot, or antiposion (cant get poisoned in F2P so this would be so much as an issue).

Or rehash Elvarg to be a bigger, badder, strong dragon for F2P to hunt after the quest. Have it so that F2P must complete the quest to access Elvarg version 2.0 which requires 70+ in attack, strength, and defense, 43 prayer and whatever else to make her exciting for group hunts or solo if you can. You can still do the quest with 60+ combat stats and mithril armor if you wish (I did) and kill lvl 83 Elvarg but then you can discover some dark magic has bung Elvarg back to life and she is strong than before at some high lvl (estimating 200).

    Well that all.

  4. I feel like the majority of people who hate bots are the ones who like being really inefficient.

Anyone who knows what they're doing wouldn't be hurt by chin/dragon/flax/whatever bots. If anything they benefit from cheap range/craft/fletching xp.

I have to agree here. I mean, I'm in no way efficient and I haven't been members for a long time. but if you can do something really well then bots shouldn't be a problem.

I've also been accused of being a bot so many times in the past and now. Most of the time I have chat off or I ignore you if you are not really saying anything important. Or I could be multitasking (I read and runecraft at the same time so I don't read the text box at all). Every once and a while I have to type "I am not a bot" and engage in conversation so I can keep from getting reported. But if bots are really that big or a problem, you can do 1 of 3 things.

    1)Quit

    2) Move to an entirely different server

    3) Become more efficient

It seems a bit unfair I camp world 75 (93 before it disappeared and when I was F2P) and I'm not Portuguese but at 475 people in the world, I doubt I see any bots. I mean, the entire Dwarven Mines is near empty, at almost every time of day/night. And if I do see a bot, well, that be the way it works. People will cheat with incentive to do so.

  5. I've been having this all day. Worked fine until 20 mins ago. First it was this bug. The RS would just outright kick me and wouldn't load. When I finally got it to work I would sometimes log in and have 0 health, 0 prayer, and summoning point running down since my BoB was still out (so glad I had yet the enter the Bandos Boss room). All types of crazy [bleep] is up. Like, what the heck?

  6. I honestly love the random events. They can come at inconvenient times, yes. But even if they take 15 out of my "busy" schedule, I enjoy it. I actually look forward to thm when doing long training. It give my mind something free to think on.

  7. Marigold also profits flowerwise.

Forgot to mention, aside from marigolds being profitable flowerwise, if you want you can grow the crops you want to use in supercompost or to pay the farmers to watch your trees. For you, you'll be growing sweetcorn and tomatoes for your oak and apple trees. Sweetcorn is actually cheap to buy thou.

  8. Herbs = money

    Trees/fruit trees = xp

    Balance the two.

Agreed. As a side note, I also grow limpwurt. I do it more for herblore, to avoid paying for them in the GE, but a one of my clan member also mention it's some type of profit (3 roots per patch. 5 patches total = 17640gp).

  9. Welcome back! :)

I also want to say thank you for serving. Not all of us can, and I definitely appreciate and support those who do. <3:

Agree with Kaida23. Thank you very much.

Hope you enjoy playing after taking your break. and feel free to say hi in game to. I don't have army stories to share, but I got a few college tales if you want to hear 'em.

  10. Lol I hate the 2nd article. Not because, the article itself, but how there are nasty people out there who would just take advantage of some 13 y/o girl. Then the fact that the girl allowed it in the first place, and multiple times. I've been on this planet for over 20 years and never met any of these kinds of people. But, I suppose these are things you'd never find out about someone.

Love is love, and some people say age doesn't matter. But 13 and 54 + married on Runescape. Ye I'm glad that's not allowed.

What I find funny is that I think the two SoS Dungeons were suppose to help take care of issues like these (be it direct or indirect) yet that event happened last year in February.

  11. In reference to the second article, I found it as one of the most hilarious things I have read in a while. I had no idea how much Jagex or Runescape was in the news, thou I am disturbed by the last news brief about the man who had sex with the minor child after "marrying" her Runescape. That was actually disappointing to read as it could have turned out a lot worse. Glad I turned down my "marriage" proposal when some random player asked me to (thou I wasn't planning on doing so anyway).

    no pic...

It is time for bed now; it has been a very long day...

    Please Post!!!!!

I keep looking at your stats and I keep getting jealous. the only thing I best you in is mining. But congrats. You give me hope to keep going. Thou I'm not sure how I will do getting 80 defense.

  13. It should be noted that for med/small dungeons most all the monster drop food, enough that you shouldn't need to buy any if you know how to kill the boss effectivelty and use a good weapon. All I can say is for F2P, the Fractile Spear is best. Basically, if the door needs a key, you can ignore all the monsters and just unlock and run.

  14. Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not to worried about combat unless it's a hinderance, not is money making really something I was thinking about doing, unless I really need to. But I'll try them all anyway. By the way, I kinda understood the first money making technique, but I am a bit lost on the last two. Can you explain a little more or give an example.

Manage thy kingdom is a quest, followed by royal trouble. You go to the island and do tasks to get approval, then deposit money into your coffers and your workers will gather resources which you can sell for profit. For more info look at the tip it guide.

Dailies are things you can do once a day for money such as buying death runes and selling them on the grand exchange. There's plenty of guides out there on them and the spreadsheet I linked shows the profit each one brings and the corresponding gp/hr.

Thanks. It make more sense now, thou I probably have to do it to really understand it. Thanks again.

  15. Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not to worried about combat unless it's a hinderance, not is money making really something I was thinking about doing, unless I really need to. 16. I've been thinking and reading topics about going mems and I've decided I will in June and for three months. But the problem is, I have not a clue as to where to start. I read the New P2P Guide on it, but I'm still lost. With so much to do in mems, I feel like I can possible waste the time I spend there. So, I was wondering, what should I first do when I do upgrade my membership?

    Notes:

When I do upgrade I was planning on doing at least the following skills/activities:

    Fletching

    Farming

    Herblore

    Runecrafting Chaos runes

    Castle Wars

    Barbarian Assault

    *Check out* God Wars

I am 89 combat and I don't consider any of my skills very high.

    Updatedskills.png

Also i am aware that the things I might be interested(minigames, etc.) is limited to me. But any quest or other suggestions would be appreciated.

  17. And did anyone notice you get more exp for adding the log to the fire then lighting it separately?

    News reading skill negative 99.

It says right there in the news post adding to bonfires gives a booster percentage up to 6%(?) for 5+ players.

    Also touché Saradomin, touché.

    A) That's mean. And you could have said that a little more nicely. B) You're right, I didn't read it well enough.
