  1. I'm pretty sure there was a place you could advertise your cc, but i can't find it. This was the closest i found, but i don't think it's what you're looking for. viewtopic.php?f=39&t=746456 EDIT: Found it viewtopic.php?f=30&t=688181
  2. When a combat bracelet runs out of charges, it can be recharged at the totem pole in the Legends' Guild.

  6. I have to disagree, i think it's more than a number. ...and for me more serious about their role in the community. For example i wouldn't storm into Rune HQs forums and just 'post to boast' I also think users with high post counts (over 2k) should be respected more, sometimes i see it as outsiders coming in and jeopadizing other people. It's weird to explain, maybe i'm just weird. Maybe pro posters are just mature enough to accept it, but i see it as bad respect/cheekyness. Basically what i'm saying is that certain forums should be a sort of 'privilege' and the way you prove that you're serious enough about the community to gain access to these areas is by showing you have some posts under your belt. To clear things up, i wasn't suggesting this because some people are immature/too young. The thread started to veer off a bit there with the age thing... (sorry for the bad spelling...)
  7. Edited title and post a tad
  8. Click here for quest walkthrough That page has it all, with simple descriptions and diagrams
  9. I think i'm ok with cash actually at the moment, had more than i thought And btw i have around 12mil in bows :? Another thing i'm thinking of is something like raw bird meat. I reckon i could shift 400k of junk an hour doing this... Are there any other items like this?
  10. I was thinking about shards, but i currently don't have a decent amoun of cash to start up with. Well i'll try it at least
  11. [hide=original post]After comfortably playing on and off, whilst making alittle bit of money with MTK and slayer i decided to try and merch a bit... When the G/E came out i was doing quite well with raw fish and runes, but decided to go for some bigger items recently. ... to cut a long story short the whole market is completely corrupt with merch clans now, and i was oblivious to the fact some items i was investing in were being risen by these clans. To cut my losses i traded most of these items with unstrung bow junk, to try and retain as much value as possible. Now when i've had small amounts of junk (like under 1mil) i can usually get rid of it without losing any money by just paying cash + 10% junk for any item that anyone is selling. These items would then just sell of the G/E, so effectively i'd just sold these unstrung bows for cash... Now i'm a bit more aware of the clans and prices, i'm more cautious - and i'm never going to merchant again. However the only things people seem to be selling are items that are crashing/just about to crash. --> so i can no longer use this method to get rid of my junk. Everything came at a bad time really, i've already suffered 2 horrible d/cing deaths this year, and then spend around 14mil on skilling. Obviously my original intention was to make money by merchanting to get my cash pile growing a bit. Howing this merchanting fail has left me so bankrupt that i can't even afford a godsword at the moment to lend out for 24 hours at 300k. Those were my only ideas... Any ideas?/Anyone wanna buy some beautiful examples of hand crafted unstrung bows?/Any advice? Cheers[/hide] I've decided to get rid of junk by selling it with items in high demand (such as raw bird meat which is 73 each on the G/E but ~400 each street value) What are the best items to do this with? Thanks
  12. Yeah i seem to remember him getting up to 4mil exp a day at one point. I don't think i could get more than 400k exp in one day without going clinically insane.
  13. A little bit more than a start :) Good job - i like your other stats too!
  14. I think song would be perfect When i make videos (not rs ones) i find they take so long that i can't stand any other music than the stuff that i personally like. Go with the crowd if i was you - rock/metal/pun/screamo lol, then people might watch your video just because te majority like the music.
  15. Doctors said my injury (that i posted a few weeks ago) was twice as painful as child birth. I don't think anyone has topped that yet?
  16. Ooh i really like your style. Good job! Nice compostion and tone, and the sky looks awesome too. I take it you live somewhere in scandinavia? - i've been stalking you on the gallery for a bit  Do you get much night time? I think the shot would look awesome if it was taken at dusk or dawn :)
  17. I take it you mean university as opposed to college, - as college is free and funded by our lovely government. I'm only in college at the moment, and haven't looked much into uni's - but i can tell you the price is all very similar. My friend made the mistake of going to Swansea (in Wales) His course is going great and everything but the nightlife and social life is crap, apparently there are basically no nightclubs or decent bars. - So that is something to take into consideration.
  18. I know everyone is equal, and i tried to make my post as unbiased as possible. Is there another way around this though? - i'm sure i'm not the only person that finds this annoying. Fair point, but putting things into perspective though - do you know notice anyone that spends the majority of their time in The Marketplace, Forum Games or Blogscape? (etc...) Just to emphasise this still, i count 5 threads in Rate This! where the user has less than 10 posts. Personally this annoys me as i see these people as people who just want praise and recognition. Perhaps i'm being overly judgemental - but if these select few do nothing else for the community then i don't see why they should be allowed to post. Are people so paranoid that they feel they have to 'feed off' the encoragement of others? (that they don't even know!) I'm not saying i know everyone, but i will respect someone more if they have built up a reputation in the community, take time over the apperance of their signature/avatar/profile and most of all their posts.
  19. This is something that has been annoying me a little recently, so i just wanted to throw this idea around to see what people think. I think certain areas of the forum/(well established posts) should be restricted to users till they get a small reputation. (Maybe 50, 75 or 100 posts?) I say this because on threads/forums such as these (just to name a couple) are full of people who have only just registered. Thread: § The Great Tip Pic of 2009! § Subforum: Rate This! (Drops, Bank Pictures and Levels) Forum: Rants Forum: Debate Club Thread: Pictures of those TIFers! ~All NEW!~ I don't mean to be cliquey or exclusive in a bad way but for example in "§ The Great Tip Pic of 2009! §" there are alot of people who have registered, but posting a screenshot of themself is the only post they have really ever made. (Meaning they are not really established in the community) If someone has made less than 0.05 posts per day, does this mean they are really a member of the community? Well, ofcourse they are registered but are they active enough for people to recognise them as a member? I'm not saying that once someones reaches 100 posts they should instantly be recognised, but '1 posters' as they are refered to, annoy me. I just think it's cheeky to take advantage of certain forum areas if you only plan to post once every 6 monthes. Another example, when these people come to Rate This! with an amazing achievement, they don't want to share it with the community, they just want to show off/boast. There is at least one thread on the front page of Rate This! (which i wont name) with a decent achievement, but with a user who no - one has ever heard of. In my opinion a post count of 75 posts should be needed to access area/posts like this, to prove that users are serious about their role in the community. I know i've only been around here a year or so, but i've had plenty of 'HYTS' ingame which means some people at least recognise me... What do you guys think?

In my opinion robin's are too overated, and people only buy them for looks most of the time. Blessed coifs give only 1 less range attack bonus than robins and are a hell of alot cheaper. Archer rings are worth it, as they are the only ring that give a range boost (+4) And even though rangers are expensive, they give a +8 boost, which is far higher than any other alternative. (coming 2nd are snakeskin boots with a +3 bonus) Get the ring and boots if you have some spare money, they're easy to sell back.
