  1. Drop rates are low for any monster for blue charms. It's definately less than 10 an hour for whatever monster you kill, kalphites (all types) and gargoyles just seem to drop them more frequently (even though they're not frequent!) than others.
  2. It's pretty much impossible to manipulate prices with only one player. I'm sure the gaming code won't allow it.
  3. Gargoyles and Kalphites are your best if you really want blue charms, however it would be alot faster just getting crimson charms if you want to train your summoning. Void spinners really aren't worth it, you will find that you still need food.
  4. Thought this might be worthy of discussion value    I've only been a player since 2003, but have done some thinking into how Jagex have managed their time/resources over the last couple of years. As of today, Jagex have over 350 employees and own 3 offices (all of which are in the UK) Note:That quote didn't really talk about servers, advertising or language translation... Where are the employees that deal with those major parts of the business? Obviously a few years ago Jagex had less staff to work on projects, but one would have thought as the years progressed updates would have become more frequent and more in content. This is a small timeline i made with notable events... 2000 - 7 Quests released 2001 - 10 Quests released. 3 New skills (Crafting, Prayer and Fishing) 2002 - 23 Quests released. P2P introduced. 4 New skills (Herblore, Fletching, Theiving and Agility) 2003 - 11 Quests released. Release of RS2. 2004 - 15 Quests released. 1 New skill (Runecrafting) 2005 - 29 Quests released. 2 New skills (Slayer, Farming) 2006 - 21 Quests released. 2 New skills (Construction, Hunter) 2007 - 14 Quests released. Funorb in the making. Mass ban on macros/RWTs, fixing problems associated with this. 2008 - 19 Quests released. 1 New skill (Summoning) Funorb released. Runescape HD released. 2009 - 3 Quests released. Mechscape? Notice the patterns, less new quests are usually accompanied with a new skill or 2, plus a large update (ie RSHD, RS2) to compensate. So basically 175 employees deal with customers whilst the other 175 deal with developing the game. For me, '05 and '06 were rather productive years compared with others introducing on average just below 1 quest a week plus the addition of 4 skills. However even before then updates seemed to be large, there were still a decent amount of additions to the game. It's just that since 2006 Jagex have slightly dissapointed me in their content. For a company that is supposed to be expanding in numbers and content this doesn't seem to be the case. In 07/08 we didn't have as many quests, or skills as in previous years.... But this was because of Funorb (and would i be fair in saying that not alot of people care about it?) and the development of the complete graphical update. Am i fair in saying that Jagex aren't exactly performing well as a company? Runescapers demand content and attention from Jagex but their efforts seem to be concentrated on other areas of the buisness. With Funorb and now Mechscape taking up Jagex's time, it feels Runescape is being pushed aside. Or is it? RSHD was kept quite quiet, and was a surprise to everyone when it was released (more of a relief for me, i wondered what on earth they were wasting time on in the last 12 months) Summoning wasn't announced till a few weeks before when we had Development Diaries... So should we be expecting a big update anytime soon? There have been no real references to new skills, perhaps this is being kept quiet aswell? Don't get me wrong, i think Development diaries are a good read, and i think it's good that Jagex keeps us updated about certain things - but they don't do this enough in my opinion, i don't really like surprises and hence are losing interest in the game because of the lack of updates. Edit: The PDF file on this page is also a good read. Thanks for reading. What do you guys think?

Click here for the quest experience rewards But tbh most quests will give you something decent so are worth doing.
  6. I've tested this Without desert robes you need a sip of water ever 1 minute 30 seconds and with desert robes you can last 2 minutes.

Fastest exp is ZMI, and you only need 66 for fally diary.
  8. I hear even at 63 red chins are fastest exp and best money.
  9. That's 10,028 (just worked it out for you) You win lol
  10. I wanna hear this story haha Good luck on 99 :)
  11. Actually made me laugh, shame it was a 6 year old kid though

  13. I suggest you don't make a guide at all. All the decent guides in the AOW are written by people who have extensive knowledge in their guide, and want to share their knowledge with other people. If you don't feel like you have the experience and just want to write a guide for the sake of it just forget it. I don't want to seem to be offensive, but i'd rather read a guide by someone that knows what they're doing - as opposed to collecting information and researching I feel when writing a guide you're sharing your own wisdom, and not someone elses that you have just copied
  14. [hide=] [/hide] My bad. Haven't been a frequent user on the RSOF in years.
  15. [hide=]It's against the rules for someone else to make a post for you. [/hide] Edit: My bad, wasn't aware of the exception
  16. Go for 40 attack with high strength (Train to 80+)
  17. Depends on your ranged level, what level you want to get to, how much cash you want to spend etc....
  18. I'm not sure how long it will take you as i did the quest the day it came out and no lifed for hours upon hours on it to get magicks. But with your stats, and the addition of summoning it shouldn't be that much of a problem. Couldn't give you a time though - sorry. But if you just do it before waiting for another reply it'll get done faster
  19. Well it's one of the 'harder' quests in the game, and i remember it having quite a few fights etc in it... So yes, as far as quests go it's probably in the top 10% of longest quests in runescape.
  20. You need to have completed it
  21. Yep, you get like 65k or something (if my memory serves me correctly!) if you high alch it... Buying the other half and putting them together makes you lose money, and i doubt you get much more in the grand exchange for it.
  22. Does this mean junk such as unstrung bows will plummet down to nothing? If so, i'm getting fletching up now lol and getting rid of my junk...
  23. Awesome music, awesome KOs Editing isn't too bad either.... Nice vids toast
  24. Hope you're looking after those desert boots hehe :) And have you found a totally awesome outfit yet?
