  1. Poser!!@!@ Well at least it's not some f2p inactive with it I guess :P
  2. Yeah... Have you fought the demons yet?
  3. Woah - I actually had no idea it even still had the special effect at all. Is it good with autoattacks on mages then? It is fastest speed
  4. How does it work out so bad for abilities?I thought they hinged on your damage stat, which is only marginally lower than sagi short for hex now.Sagie bow is equal to dual wielding crossbows. Hex is equal to a crossbow and a shield. I had heard Hex was now equal to a normal 2h weapon, rather than a 1h, but with retaining the shield effects and lp/def bonuses.Sounds reasonable. All I know is that they were shieldbows before the update. I destroyed the two I had bound when I needed more binds, so I couldn't check. I have one, I was planning on using it as my primary weapon now, but I don't know how to check and don't have a Sag Short to compare it with... :|

  6. Best part of the update? To help you find space for your new friends, we've also increased the maximum capacity of the player-owned house menagerie at all tiers - up to 25, at the highest tier. I'm ready. EDIT: After buying a token reset I have 2271k tokens. Lol hello Hope. (Maybe)
  7. How would the damage bonus from power armor (Pernix minus hood) be quantified as an overall increase in DPS? I realize it's 10% of a fast level 80 weapon, but how can that be compared? Likewise, what about Scrimshaw of Cruelty? How does the Superior Scrimshaw of Cruelty differ other than the time it lasts? What do either of them even do? I'd like the following "quantified" in terms of raw DPS as well (so that I can compare and add them up more meaningfully): Mighty Slayer Helmet on task Sharpshooter Aura(s) (by tier, please) Anguish (Initial and ending boost) Overloads (For Ranged, at least) Jewelry crit bonuses; Can .1% crit be translated into DPS? The difference in DPS between Needle Strike and Dazing Shot If I've forgotten anything, feel free to add to this or correct me.
  8. Took so damn long but I finally got dual ASC. :) Time to abuse the hell out of Shadow Tendril!
  9. lol #2... Would have preferred some lucky Subj, but can't say no to a placeholder.
  10. Best GWD trip I've ever had! Hahaha My new Ascension is lucky! Also, made an AGS and it sold 17.5m instant so hilts were essentially 17m each. We each walked away with 20m!
  11. Eh, haven't tried ranging QBD with Panzer, but I'm quite sure it has a longer range since I slay with it all the time and tag things from across the room ;)
  12. I didn't find DBane to be as good as Ascension Bolts... :| Not sure how to really quantify the damage with such a short test though. I did like 4 loots with DBane and then a bunch with Ascension lol. Also Nihil seems to have a short attack range, I couldn't stand next to the center artifact at QBD without it telling me it was out of range... -.-
  13. Is there a joke I'm not privy to here? :P Anyway, I just bought MH ASC, have lots of DBane Bolts, OH Darts, and am on task with Mighty FSH and DSlayer Gloves. Going to make a Smoke Nihil then give this a go!
  14. Since when could you make bane BOLTS? I thought it was limited to arrows ? Since always lol You probably just hadn't heard of them because they've always sucked, too ... Until maybe today? I dunno. I've got 1k of em, may go test at QBD in an hour or so.
  15. Lmfao, I think my Blood Nihil just took the full brunt of QBD's extremely hot flames; it had a tiny sliver of its 20k LP left. I've never seen a familiar affected by that kind of attack...
  16. Lol I was just testing Blood Nihil at QBD and it would still follow me between waves... :| However, it didn't seem TOO much slower than Panzer (Steel), and I wasn't using Annihilate Scrolls either (nor would I ever if they're 10/pouch like usual). Their normal attack damage seems pretty good, the accuracy bonus is tiny but a nice plus, making them less intensive (for me at least) at QBD (As well as freeing up inventory space from Summoning Flasks). But everyone knows I can't QBD anyway :P
  17. Both Nihil and Muspah cost 50 points to toggle unlock.
  18. Magic ability "seems" decent on Muspah, it was enough to nearly 1 hit them a few times, even if they are weak to Ancients. Quite annoying that it gets cancelled if the target moves though... At first I thought this was an intended feature, perhaps to opt a meleeing enemy player out of melee range, but now I think it's just a glitch.
  19. Seems like an asinine comment, considering Corrupt Dragon degrades to nothing after only 30 minutes, meaning it obviously isn't for any sort of practical use, and that while Dragon is the biggest example, the kind of system I proposed isn't limited to just one tier. Short idea sweet: That someone can build the equipment they'll need while training to be able to use it.
  20. I've always thought as much... (Referring to the latter part of your post.) Dragon gear will always be the primary example. Let's consider for a moment, however, how many, many high level Slayer monsters drop rune items that can be obtained from other sources. In that sense, and as a tangent to the original point, the items are clearly only in those drop tables to buff profit. So... How about level 60 gear (including Dragon) be added to the drop tables of monsters that can be killed by people with level 50 gear and levels, but simply be rarer? I think the exclusivity of the drops is the problem here. A system where a player with level 50 combat skills could kill a bunch of one monster, thereby even training up to level 60 by the time they possibly got the drops, would make a lot of sense. The hypothetical monsters in question don't even have to drop, say, Dragon armor. They could drop a degradable level 60 equivalent so that Dragon armor is still better for looks, status, and non-degradation. The armor could even come in pieces, so that it's more reliable that they could receive all of the pieces before or by the time they reach the level to use it. Throw in incentives for killing those targets on Slayer assignment and you've got low-mid level update gold!
  21. Aaand then we run into the issue of Magic and Ranged costing far more than melee again, and thereby undoing a chunk of the balance between style usability that EOC brought with it. But, then, it seems like they're keen on screwing up a lot of EOC's positives for the sake of nostalgia, anyway, with so many of the changes I've seen on beta... :(
  22. How do bonuses from equipped items, like XP outfits, stack with other sources like Avatar, portable skilling locations, and RAF? At the moment, I'm trying to figure out how much money I can save using Botanists outfit, Avatar, and to determine if RAF is worth 2 bonds (this already seems like a no unless I was doing another skill along with Herblore, but I still want to know how it stacks.) EDIT I was hoping it would be as easy as, say, .06+.06+.10 = .22 Multiplying the GP amount RSWiki's calculator gives me by .78...
  23. Oh neat a quote from my thread. 8-way switches? You mean macro-switches? I've yet to see anyone have the speed/accuracy to pull off 6-way switches. Most people can barely do 4-5 way switches. I have an extremely hard time believing anyone can click 8 times accuractely in 0.6 seconds. I haven't really tried it, but.. Maybe an ability bar with just gear on it? Slide your finger across numbers? :P That works but comes with a problem. You'd sacrifice 2 entire ability bars for an 8-way item switch. :P I was managing it, albeit inconsistently :( Like sometimes items in the center or at the end wouldn't equip properly, or would somehow unequip (like I hit the same one twice lol).
