I just hope that when these armors become more common it doesn't kill the minigames for everyone who doesn't have them... Although I do plan to get them myself. The only progress I've made is 220 wins at PC. :mellow: Uni started last week... <_< I have to wonder why they didn't just make them like sacred clay armor where one set can be any of the three. Does the Ranged defense of Trickster and Vanguard seem low to anyone else? And I really want to see a tribrid video of someone switching between two or all three sets (and maybe Chaotics too)... Wicked_!

Thought I should try to sum things up as far as we know so far: Top: 500 wins (Fight Pits, 2min or less each) Legs: 100 wins (Soul Wars, ~25min each :wall: ) (look up "tinyyoshi" for proof that they actually exist!) Helm: 75 wins (Castle Wars, ~25min each) Boots: 500 wins (Pest Control, 2min each) Gloves: 100 wins (Fist of Guthix)* These are obviously all approximations as actual numbers will probably not be so rounded and pretty. The Gloves/FoG is the only one I'm not "sure" about as most accounts note the # of tokens at the end rather than wins, which varies dramatically since it's based on charge difference and total level, nor do I know the time per game... :mellow: Feel free to correct this or give your own experience.

Agreed! ^ I saw them in a vid earlier and thought the same thing. Although, I really wish that JaGEx would introduce custom coloring to armors like they did to capes... I really dislike the colors of the 3 sets, especially Battle-Mage. Heh, you're right. I do still have that normal Void Top too lol... Although I don't know where I'd ever lose my Void that I wouldn't be able to get back to it... It bothers me a bit that there's only one functioning PC world at the moment though, and even that doesn't have instant games, at least for the time I was using it. Is there like some super secret world for high levels? Because on w144 it seems like 1 in 3 games the portal will become unprotected and there will only be 3 people attacking it while everyone else is doing god knows what. At least I still seemed to win 6/7 games... And anyone else notice that PC is the only one of the sources in which the sets don't give bonuses? Lol... Any stats on how many PC wins are needed? We're actually winning almost every game at the moment, I'm just curious. I actually have no idea what to spend these commendations on either lol.

550 burns 6 gold keys that I got in the latter 200 (seriously something was messed up) were all crap anyway... 59 Fine Cloth total if anyone cares If burns are 14k each I lost like 5.5m, although I did gather all the corpses/oils myself so w/e. EDIT Fine Cloth don't sell so might as well make that 6m... EDIT 2 after I actually started getting gold keys (tonight only) the rate was ~1/28 with about 1 every yak load (28 burns go figure)

I will be going after a set or possibly all of them if all the pieces are easier to get after the first, as I suspect they'll become essential to winning the minigames they're involved with... However, the Battle-Mage set doesn't really seem "hybrid"; what I mean to say is, that's how mage armor SHOULD be but thus far hasn't really been.

The only way to have multiple god birds of any kind is to keep the ones that you have in your menagerie in your POH. I don't know about dragons but I assume it works the same: If you have a Zamorak Hawk, you can't get a Guthix Raptor without putting the first pet in your menagerie. If you don't have any god birds/dragons... I dunno what to tell you, it probably is a glitch... :???:

I kinda hate FOG, although I know enough about the movement system I could probably be decent at it if I tried... Is there a way to "fix" FOG? Nooby, I know, but I should fully assume it suffers from the same predicament as Fight Pits do. What is the minimum amount of players required to begin a game? The rest of those I can stand. SW should be fun if not only for finding SS barragers to be the victims of a powerful pile of Group Vengeance. PC is alright if you win most of the time, lol. And Castle Wars is my favorite minigame. Oh, wait, does SW still have that activity bar...? Does it restrict freedom unmercifully?

I'm not disappointed. I just wish less of this revolved around luck, as mine is sorely lacking. That's really how it typically is: Minigames have rewards you can work towards Monster drops are random I just wish they hadn't crossed these wires. And I'm not refering to Shades when I say any of that but rather ALL of the minigames you get the new hybrid armor from. I mean they say that your chances rise as you go along, but I have a feeling the hybrid armors will turn out like champ scrolls where some people spend weeks on one piece and some others get it without trying. Those sentiments aside, I don't even know which set is really the best choice for, say, Castle Wars. If I want to try to capture their flag, I want mage defense. If I want to base defend with ranged (surprisingly effective) I want ranged accuracy. The Trickster set however would quite easily be torn up by all the 130+ melee-only-PKers there.

The overwhelming amount of times this tool mentioned Saradomin made me giggle.

Is this right even for the veteran boat? And I have to wonder when they say that chance increases the more games you play, if it takes into account past games/rewards you currently have. But I doubt it. They're a trainwreck with that... Like when people had the highest tier CW armor mounted in POH and it didn't count towards their total games.

About 15 keys used, I bought 1k Fiyr shades and have 1.8k Magic Pyre logs. Around 350 burnt. Yeah, I collected 550 beforehand and have burnt 200 of those. And no I can't get a SC shield, they're 200pts each lol... 10x everything else. Acceptable though I guess.

I feel trolled at the moment. He gets 8 gold keys and 2 kits out of those, and I get no gold keys out of about 2/3 of the amount he's burnt. Forget this, for the moment. I'ma go see if I can buy an overpowered SC shield.

Either gold keys are hella fuggin rare or my luck is poor. ~5 yak trips and no gold keys.

Moved into dorm at uni today... I'm at the other extreme here. They'll probably find that I've frozen to death. But then it's 100+ outside daytime so what're you going to do right?

Oh yes! The final piece to my ultimate kit is finally here! Zamorak be praised! *Please ignore missus tumor in the 2nd picture. The only change I'm considering to this look at the moment is the shield slot. Perhaps Mage's book, Spectral or Arcane Spirit Shield... And I believe I'm running out of goals, lol. Complete last 3 champions challenges Gain 99 Summoning ??? I dunno what else I care about at this moment... Probably finish Temple Trekking too. The last few rewards are neat and unexplored! Most likely get the last few Dungeoneering rewards as well. Hopefully new minigame rewards next week will give me something to do that I enjoy.

Well, he took the time to write it, so I took the time to read it. But I'm not sure what any of them could say at this point in time that would be... helpful? I guess the fact that it's from a specific mod gives it more of a face, more than a main page newspost.

My thoughts and perhaps my words exactly, just with WarRock replaced by a different game. RuneScape was special when it at least FELT like the developers were making it for their own enjoyment. Equal playing field... Years ago, that's what really was provided.
