I've heard alot of people say they like the lower graphics just because its a preferance, or because they've played it so long they just don't want to. Another thing is lag, and even though some computers handle it, it can still lag. (With the amount of things I normally have open, I'd lag on high detail but on low I'd be fine.. and I perfer it that way) [/hide] Computers arent all designed to do everything. There are computers designed specifically for gaming- generally they can do most other tasks pretty well too, but they cost a pretty penny if you want a good one, and dont come with the greatest operating systems/features to begin with. I personally couldnt play diablo until about 2 years ago. thats right, the original diablo was too crazy for my graphics card to comprehend. My computer is currently decked out with top of the line everything, but the only thing I've really had to change in the past 2 years, was the graphics card, everything else still utterly destroys 'normal' PC's in almost every function. But graphics and games werent what computers were initially designed for, those are all secondary purposes, same with burning cd's listening to music etc. So, if he wants to play on low detail, who are you to judge him? money isnt even an issue, and dragging that into discussion is a low blow. None of my friends know, but it's not like I'm hiding a great secret from them. It's a game. Would I make fun of a kid for playing Gears of War, or Halo? No. RuneScape is just a game. If someone asked if I play, I'd tell them that I do. No one at my school plays, because everyone at my school is preppy and need instant gratification to stay happy. I hate them all.

KO'ed them all? No. It wasn't the rioting that got Jagex to implement these worlds, it's the money. They're going to be making A LOT more money now, that's what they're after. Who cares if 16 year old drop outs riot on a game, where Jagex doesn't even have to read what they type? It's all about the money.

Err...1800? I don't know. I only have a couple of games, and I don't really go for achievements. I pretty much just play Halo 3, and Gears of War online.
