What parts exactly? I really think IW hit the nail on the head with the story and spec ops. The multiplayer was ok as well, although could have been better. I'll definitely be getting this game, regardless of multiplayer. I love all of the CoD games' single player. *GASP* Someone liking the game for something OTHER than multiplayer? Blasphemy! The story was horrific. It didn't make any sense, and it was completely implausible. I think they thought about how good their first game was, and thought 'let's take all the best bits and multiply them by 10 and squash them together one after another'. That's what the game was like. Sort of like watching one of those crappy daytime highlight reel programs on Dave. It was complete overkill. The only good bit (storytelling wise) was after the EMP, running around in the rain. That bit only lasted three or four minutes, and it's the only bit I remember. COD4 had an interesting, engaging story. I loved that. MW2's story was a let down.

Everyone has a guided missile on the UAV. Hit R1 (is it RT on 360?) and hold the crosshairs over the target.

There are 4 bolt actions available. M21 (the first sniper rifle, which is actually very good, one of my preferred rifles) SV98 (similar to M21 but worse) GOL (The most 'accurate' of the sniper rifles, slightly less power than an M21 and a faster fire rate) M95 (Most powerful, but also the slowest in terms of bolt cycling and reloading) For a first gun, the M21 is pretty amazing. And the T88 is beastly with a red dot sight.

I wanna try this but I don't really want to have any of the side effects you mentioned. Anyone had any of them?

If anyone gets annoyed by '24 hour' anti perspirants not working very well at all, I really recommend Driclor. It works because the aluminium chloride in it blocks sweat from coming out of your armpits, and it is instead disposed in the normal way. You put it on at night, let it dry for five minutes or so, and then go to sleep. You wash it off in the morning and use your anti perspirant as normal. I used it for 2 nights, and I was sweat free for a week or so. Now I just use it once a week, or if I start getting a bit sweaty.

I don't see anyone even being able to use an SMG from a long range with a 4x. Either way I've never been a fan of the 4x as I can generally see and aim just fine with red dot. I use SMGs at long range with iron sights surprisingly often. I've lost track of the number of snipers I've killed with them.

I never see any effect when I tag a tank or whatever and then use a launcher. Been using it for the last half hour or so. one question: did you hold the cross-hairs over the square until the range came up? That is when it is locked on. Try it, and before you fire, aim up a bit, and you will see. Ahh, that is what I wasn't doing. Some things in this game aren't explained very well.

I'm not quite sure what the tracer does. I know it identifies the tank for all your enemies, but during my brief use of it, I didn't see any other effects.

Yea. where you go in a cage match and before you start make sure the other guy has a pave low set on. let him kill you and let it go, then have and rpd, scavenger, and cold blooded on and shoot it down, then when it spins around every bullet counts as a downed kill streak. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also anyone else here of the new hack? It has auto aim and invincible soldier, supposedly it comes out the weekend by hackers, MW2 is officially screwed. Because we all know IW wont do a damn thing about it...they got there money already. Time to pull out COD4/WaW again! Thanks god I have a PS3. In other news: IW is dead. MW3 will in all probability be nothing like MW1 or 2, or anywhere near as good.

I hate being put into games like that. People with names like oOooOoooooOOO el1tz0rz sniperknob OooooOoOOOOoOOo who have no idea that it isn't team [bleep]ing deathmatch.

Last night I had 2 or 3 games where I started (and finished) in top place. All of them I startedoff with at least a 10 killstreak, one of them was around 13. In other news: I sniped a gunner out of a [bleep]ing chopper.

Only one or two of my friends have the game, and they're very rarely on. I need people from here to add and makes a squad with.

Maybe its the xbox, DVD drive problems. Have you tried taking MW2 out after it loads and putting BC2 in? I found thats a great way to bypass the error in the consol. I have found my new love in Multiplayer, riding around in the mini gun of a black hawk XD All the people I play with can't pilot a helicopter for [cabbage]. Then again neither can I, but I don't bother trying. It's really really hard to keep fire concentrated on one or two guys when it seems like your pilot has alzheimers mixed with a splash of ADHD.

You can actually do that? I was wondering myself. Yeah, I often use it when I run out of ammo for my launcher or mines. Earlier today I fired my last shot at a tank, leaving it half destroyed, and ran up to it and followed it with my repair tool. No idea why they didn't get out. AT mines are also full of win. In rush on defence I just stick all my mines on the road leading into the base. Sometimes I sit by the road (Especially on the maps where there is lots of foliage for snipers to hide) and watch the vehicles blow up and kill the odd sniper, and other times I just leave them there. It's a great feeling to randomly have 200+ score appear on your screen from a double kill.

Who has this for PS3? I need a decent squad to learn with.

I'm getting this on monday, and I was wondering the best ways to learn the multiplayer, how to do well, spots, weapons etc. I was OK in the first BC, nothing special, and I had the beta of this and was terrible. Any help?
