  1. :D Nice to see you as well. Thanks for your support. <3 Hah, thanks a lot. :) See you ingame. --- On a different note, I'm sorry if this blog is rather boring so far. I don't like posting level ups that aren't really significant. Since this is a slayer blog, you'll see levels having to do with slayer (combat, slayer, etc.). Once I get back to slaying after this Seer's Hard Task, expect to see some mildly interesting levels. Thanks for sticking with me.
  2. Congratulations on 91 Prayer and 25mil defense experience. Keep it up. I'm at University, too. Hardly any time. :(
  3. Working towards 75 fletching so I can finish the Hard Seers Achievement Diary (Enchanted Excalibur). Then, back to slayer. Currently level 69.
  4. Thanks for the advice. I'll try to get myself to do the quests for that. And we're on the same page. I've always wanted to be able to boss monster hunt. I am using slayer as a means of making it fun/making cash so eventually I'll be able to Corp, Godwar, etc. :) We can chat about it ingame.
  5. I only used Piety when I tried a Skeletal Wyvern task; I've never used it for slayer since then. And I haven't cannoned Dagganoths (which is the only thing I would), but I probably will in the future. So, I guess I wouldn't be classified as a powerslayer. I rarely use super sets during tasks, either. 70 to 80 slayer took me a month or so. Maybe longer. I don't play very often. I'm at university now, so I barely have time even for a task in one day. Thanks a lot. I haven't forgotten who you are, Dutch. I waited until 80 slayer to make it, because I thought it'd be interesting only after that level. --- Still working on that Rock Creature task. It's long. :( 60k till 81 slayer.
  6. Why, thank you very much. :) Rather surprising to myself, too. But, yours have grown higher by a landslide (constitution and range). Thanks. I think it's a fantastic skill, too. My first friend ever. Definitely adding you. :3
  7. Very nice work with the prayer. I'm trying to save cash for 92 prayer. Good luck with the last 4 levels. :) And have fun slaying.
  8. Thanks for the post on my blog. I love reading about other player's slayer escapades. :) I'll watch this blog. Good luck, and have fun!
  9. Very true. I currently farm toadflax and marigolds at the four allotments, and then a snapdragon at the Troll patch. It provides a nice bit of cash. Thanks. :) Thank you. I like simplicity. Good luck with your own goals.
  10. Hi, I'm Cup Lion, and I've been playing on and off since February 16, 2008. I spent a majority of my time in the free-to-play realm, training noncombat skills and playing the Great Orb Project. It was only until recently that I began seriously training combat via slayer. It began with my goal of completing Nomad's Requiem, and after that, everything else was boring except for slayer. I have mainly one goal, which leads to other goals. 81/90 Slayer As I progress towards this, I will no doubt be gaining combat levels, summoning levels, etc. I hope that the slayer skill will provide me enough money for the following goals (ordered by importance): 70/92 Prayer 60/85 Herblore 69/96 Summoning It will take me quite a while to buy all these skills, but I'm relatively committed to it. Prayer is attractive because of Soul Split, Herblore because of Super Anti-fires, and 96 summoning because of the Pack Yak. Slayer Log (tasks) 202 Bloodveld 136 Blue dragons 164 Nechraeyl (cancelled) 249 Bloodveld 237 Waterfiends 167 Living rock creatures 209 Gargoyles 159 Greater Demons 91 Iron Dragons 215 Greater Demons 155 Nechryael Drops (as of 80 Slayer)
  11. Love the signature. <div><br></div><div>Oh, and this was a good read, too. Entertaining. Good luck.</div>
  12. 10/10 Awesome that you didn't sell the natures until the end.
  13. Thanks everyone. :) And Haseo, you're still better. :P @Siamese: Since I was only planning on a few levels, I did mummies in the chaos tunnels, since I don't think I have the requirements for skeletons at wherever they are. I did manage an average of 300+ experience each chinchompa, though, because I found out how to stack the mummies all on one square. I bought both colours.
  14. I started off about forty days ago, buying myself a month of membership in hopes of using up my Runecrafting Guild Tokens and increasing my runecrafting level. I was chatting with a friend, and she suggested that I go for the Soul Wars cape, since I had always been jealous of hers, and I couldn't ever stick to a 99 goal that I wanted. So, I decided to. I realized I would have to buy 70 prayer, 60 construction, 67 summoning (tortoise) and train for days to defeat him. She told me my best bet was to use melee, and so I trained my melee stats, hoping to get 85+ and defeat him. Multiple times I asked her "Why not use range? I've seen people with 80 do it." She told me it was more difficult, so I went on training melees. I had to buy another month of membership, since I ran out of training time. I kept watching videos of people ranging Nomad quite easily. So, I decided to put some money into Red Chinchompas and get 75 range in a day (from 71). Wasn't that difficult. I had 58 summoning at this point, and my only issue was getting charms for 67 and the tortoise, because I didn't think I could do it with a spirit terrorbird. Today, I told myself I'd do some practice runs on Nomad using the terrorbird. So, I packed up, 5 super restores, the rest of my pack and my familiar filled with brews. I got him down to his last 1/4 health, where I was careless and was killed. I brought two more restores, as I noticed I wouldn't have had enough to finish the fight. My inventory for the second fight was as follows. These were test runs, so I wasn't planning on getting far, so when I had him down to around 50 lifepoints, no restores, and a row of brews left, I was extremely uneasy. I wondered how I would get out of this situation alive. Since I had no restores left, I was left to finish him off with 1/75 range (often going back down to 0/75 because I had to heal). Luckily, I remembered my familiar could fight, and so I set him to attacking Nomad, instead of standing behind me doing nothing. In the end, I finished him off, and my final goal in Runescape was complete. Here are my stats. 107 combat. Pretty low for this quest, but I'm proud of it. Funny, I was at the tent, and said "Here goes nothing." And some fellow said "Ull die. gf gf" Fortunately, I was able to come out victorious, and say, "Hey, gf. :3" Rate, I guess. I know tons of people have completed it, a lot a lower combat level than me, but, I still think it's fantastic. Thanks everyone.
  15. I like the sleek and professional, but basic look to it.
  16. Thanks, but I must've forgotten you, since that doesn't ring a bell ... :ohnoes:  About thirty minutes ago I was slaying bloodvelds with you. I asked you your summoning level, and earlier tried to steal your Soul Wars cape. >:3 Oh well. No big deal.
  17. Russet, I had no idea you were a Tiffer. It's "Mi Cephei". :) Congratulations on 85 Slayer.
  18. My summer goal would have to be getting the Soul War's cape. I find it extremely pretty, and it'll take me a while to raise my combat, summoning, and other necessary skills (as well as do quests) to get there. But, I believe it will be worth it. :)
