Looks more like an IDE limitation than anything. If you want to see those values at runtime you could check the locals window or add a watch (but even "Add watch" from the context menu seems to get confused by the with statement so you have to do it manually) Yuck

So now, I mostly give people the benefit of the doubt for one reply - if they are actually open I'll continue, if not, I just ignore them. Who cares if they think they've "won", they will think that regardless of what you say.

Commenting is taught really badly in my experience. I remember being told a few times to do stuff like "comment every line" which just makes things a mess. If the code is good in the first place you shouldn't need that many comments.
