I guess this is more of a rant than an advice request then... You get crappy drops everytime you pk and you're frustrated about it.

I have never read this, all I know is that if you stay in safespots it does not reduce your drop potential. If this was the case, why do you think people alch in G.E. at the safespot? If this decreased their drop potential they would not be doing this. Well here's the answer, I guess. Why would people alch outside safe areas? That would be stupid!

Dude, firemaking is 3 times faster than woodcutting at best lol. At your level, cutting willows in F2P is a little over 40k/hour. And burning 800-1000 maples per hour is equivalent to 108-135k/hour.

The wealth carried by you and your opponent isn't the only factor per se. Jagex stated that staying in hot zones (like Varrock) will increase your odds of receiving good drops. Spending too much time in safe areas (banks, guild, GE, white knights castle) will have the countrary effect.
