Nex, I assume you haven't seen Retech's post on the hegemony then?

I use a general rule of thumb: Anything Hex says which is repeated or spoken aloud in real life will lead to being on an FBI watch list or social exclusion. Especially the Jong stories.

That's absurd. A forum never hurt anybody and never really impacted anything. Waaay too harsh. Best of luck with the punishment manipulation though.

Zombie Plans-Revised
Okay, most plants have seeds inside them, and extracting them would be an incredible waste. Other plants seeds would be refused by the chickens. Seriously Hex, trying to grow enough food for you and your group is a terrible idea. You'd never manage it, and with even the slightest mistake, you starve to death. Not to mention the space required and the resources required are rather large. You don't want to waste fresh water on keeping plants alive.

I'd have to agree with you there.

Zombie Plans-Revised
Sounds pretty much perfect. Get a heckton of water purification tablets, gather a ton of water in the early stages, and you're pretty much done. From the description, I'd advise a 20-30 person team instead of a 4-6.

Yeah. Thing is, you trade the ability to quickly call troops for an increased cost of deployment. I'd imagine any more than a million and your infrastructure would take a hit as well. Icu, I'd estimate closer to 550m aged between 18 and 40.

Icu, I assume you've never been on a fishing boat? Catching fish is hard work, and if you don't know how to do it properly, you are screwed. Combined with maintainance and such, as well as actually cooking the fish (Disregarding the fact that you can't live on fish alone) and it's not looking good for anyone who doesn't do trawling as either a hobby or a full time job. Growing things on a boat is difficult since sea air will kill plants. Not immedietly, but it isn't good for them at all.

It's mandatory military training. Those 900,000 troops aren't active until he needs them to be.

Zombie Plans-Revised
Sigh. Hex, I've said from the begginning that loading all your guns and going out to "Kick [wagon]" is a horrible tactic, but you have apparently completely ignored that. I even think the first line of your longer post up there was something I've said in the past about somebody else. Hex, food takes time to grow. If one crop dies, you're probably not going to have enough food to last until the next crop can be grown (Taking into account seasons and such), so you will starve to death, and all 5 friends (You, friends? Hah.) will also die. You can't grow enough to feed 6 people on a boat unless it's a tanker, and I really doubt you could get a tanker. Ammo conservation, and staying silent are too paramount factors. If there are one or two zombies, shooting would attract a lot more, and thus, is a stupid idea. Say there is a single zombie blocking your path. If you shoot it, you could attract another dozen. This is when you use a silent weapon, or a melee weapon. I have never said that melee is better than using a ranged weapon, but sometimes it is a better option. Basically, you are an idiot who is unable to comprehend basic survival skills and will die.

Yeah, I basically think that NPC countries should act as a relatively sane human player. Saaay....Uuuhm... Okay, I can't actually think of any player to base this off of, but you get what I mean. PS, new flag. Hurr I suck at image editing, but at least it looks better than it did when it had all those annoying white outlines.

Heh, Retech, somehow I don't think it'll be that easy.

I can offer the same as Rocco, if necessary. Note: Not competing, it's alongside Rocco's offer.

Zombie Plans-Revised
Okay, there are some flaws in that plan. Here. For starters, you definitely want tinned food that wont spoil. Going to Wal-Mart or any large store is a bad idea, since the place will likely be swarming with zombies, or maybe slightly better but still pretty bad, rioters. Weed wacker is a poor choice for a weapon. It's more bulky than the classic trench spike (Crowbar if the trench spike is unavailable, carpenters hammer if there is no other option), and makes a heck of a lot of noise, which will attract a lot of zombies. It also requires fuel, which will run out rather quickly. That's all I see wrong with it. Basic outline is okay, but some major flaws there.

Well Central America is giving them away. I'm sure some random civilian could run in and grab them right now. I have no money to help in any restoration, since Iran is pretty poor at the moment. Also, Grim has a point. How do loans work if you have 0 infra? Negative infrastructure?
-
Hegemony
Yes. I will do that too. Reverse engineering of the F-22 begins. 1/15 due to low budget.

Hurrah for arbitary drawbacks when somebody decides to expand too much! No sarcasm at all, I actually think events like this should happen when a superpower attempts to become an ultrapower. Although reducing to zero infrastructure does seem harsh, Retech was using a classic "Attack Attack Attack" strategy, and heavily underestimating his opponent. The fact that it was in essence a civil war didn't help in the slightest and made it impossible to get away without some heavy damage. Not helped by aforementioned tactic, Retech proceeded to Nuke the hell out of his own country. Basically, Retech fought himself, Retech won. And lost. And then lost some more. Kinda. This has been ross's war commentary corner. Goodnight.

Oooohhhhhh....I realise how I've been stupid now. I was under the illusion that AIG was averaged when you annexed a country, but that would be a stupid system. Then again, right now, you can just annex a country then quickly put 50% into infra to get a 25%+ AIG boost from the country you annexed.
-
Hegemony
Wait, Retech, I thought your infrastructure got averaged from taking Mexico?
