Dungeoneering
With nobody rolling on your actions and keeping track of skills, no.
-
Dungeoneering
Earth, that wont really work. We already decided that we aren't going to have another GM.

Dungeoneering
"My name is Ares. Why have you stopped attacking?" Archi, you can stop if you have a headache, seriously. No one is going to be angry. Edit: Ah, good.
-
Dungeoneering
Ares slowly says "What?"
-
Dungeoneering
Ares looks around him, readying to cast if necessary.
-
Dungeoneering
You sure you're okay with continuing? Ares curses, before creating a solid sphere of light around the person, followed by another four walls of rock.
-
Dungeoneering
If you've got a headache, nobody is going to blame you for leaving, so if you want to, you can stop. Ares creates four walls of rock around the person, trapping them.

Dungeoneering
This is the last day of the half term holiday for me, so I'd rather not, sorry :(
-
Dungeoneering
Ares attempts to regain his balance midair and flies in the opposite direction from the kick, making sure not to go above the treeline. He turns to look at who kicked him. (Also, I'll do my own journal entries. I don't know why I didn't beforehand.)

Dungeoneering
Ares grabs two short swords and sheaths before storing them in his sleeves and continuing through the undergrowth. He documents the event, trying to leave out as much stuff which would be considered evil or wrong as possible.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
...Bows don't have recoil, really. And nanosprings would make the bow impossible to draw unless you used some kind of mechanical part with it (Something to force the springs back, really powerful electromagnet, explosion, etc) which would make it require more loading after each shot, and make it cost a lot to fire.
-
Dungeoneering
Ares checks for loot, listening for any other people in the area in the process, before dissappearing into the undergrowth again, and continuing along.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Unless you used some kind of controlled explosion to propel the springs back and lock them into place, followed by loading the ammo and then firing. Of course, that's basically a musket in reverse with less efficiency.

Love the idea. Will probably start tommorow. Between this, dungeoneering and Hegemony, I think it's safe to say my social life just went out the window.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Japan got owned, heh.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Project Spider begins. Wont take too long.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Retech, I know. That's the absurd thing about it. I fully expect inability to pay.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Hehe, 15 trillion for a rock that's several hundered thousand miles away over 5 years will be fine, thank you.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I certainly don't see it that way. It's potential that you're paying for, and anything that big has a lot of potential. I also don't think your citizens would be happy with you paying 15 trillion for a rock which is several hundered thousand miles away. Still, if you want to. What timespan were you thinking here?

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I have a solution to your population problem. Propoganda to stop people having as many children, and make the overall growth rate much smaller. You're already one of the most powerful nations because of all your earlier Annex-Scumming, so I will do everything in my power to intervene, and call everyone I can to help. Australia will throw a tantrum. Mather, no owning planets. Unless you want to pay me several trillion, since I have an equal entitlement to it as well, and I wont sell that entitlement for anything under 20 trillion.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I'll be protecting the countries independance as well as civilians. I don't want Japan gaining any more land and economic power. Also, Mather, 365.7 trillion. Made up number, but it's to emphasise that YOU ARE NOT BUYING A PLANET (or Moon).
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Australia is hypothetically going to kick up a ruckus when you hypothetically invade.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Australia tells Japan to screw off and stop waving it's overinflated budget around. You can't buy countries damnit. And no more political annexation. The only option you have left is invasion, and we've already been through that one.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Uuuh, when did you start researching that, Earth? Also, carbon nanotubes will take at least seven years. Those things are damn useful for almost everything. Australia also thinks that political annexation should be banned.
