The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Well I wouldn't think Sere would have full power over Australia, just influence I guess. It's still a seperate country, and it would take 25+ years to make it join under another flag (It was my country, and I hate the 5 day annex thing, so I'm making Australia take 25+ years to annex)

Well since Australia apparently wasn't taken out of the game, and I did enter an alliance with the USA before I quit, I guess it still stands?

Icu, Russia's border is huge. It's almost impossible to defend efficiently.

WoL Help Topic
Anybody know what the consequences of being beaten by another player are? Do you lose resources or troops, or is it just that the other person gains rep? And is it better to use archers or swordsmen when you are attacking level 3-5 wildlands?

Grim, you can't just use an instawin technique and say "Nazi's did it" all the time. Also, Godwin's Law.

But you are also creating a federation which they cannot leave without being plunged into poverty. I highly doubt they would accept that, even if you did 20 days of "Political talks" Okay, you know what. This is pointless. Go ahead, take Indonesia. The annexation rule has utterly killed this thread in my eyes. In real life, countries are not attempting to annex as much territory as possible, and if they were, it would definately not go unnopposed like this.

[hide=Lots of posts] [/hide] You never seem to mention any other country on that page, so one can only assume when you said: You were talking about Indonesia. Therefore you moved troops in before I did. I doubt they would let that go unnopposed, and they definately would not so freely enter a federation with you after that. Also, to the above post. Why would they join a federation from which they cannot escape without mass poverty and debt in the first place? It makes no sense.

I'll check the last 20 or so pages, I'm pretty sure you said you sent troops to indonesia. Also, that still doesn't answer the question of why the hell they would agree to a federation which would leave them unable to quit without being changed into a wasteland.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Retech, you sent troops into Indonesia as a "Peaceful Occupational Force" or something, and then when I tried to do the same, you simply said "Nope, not allowed". In real life, no country would enter such an agreement in 2.5 years, let alone even think about changing their currency (Therefore totally and utterly screwing them into hell if they ever wish to leave said federation). I call BS. No country with a sane leader would do that.

And this is why the 5 day rule can go die. The reason I quit is because apparently there was nothing I could do anyway, and I just hate the 5 day rule, and annexation rules in general. I tried to use a decent timescale to initiate talks and sway the favour away from Japan, Retech decided that my tactics wouldn't work and invaded Indonesia anyway.

I dunno, that's a lot of gold. Hell, the USA would probably break an alliance or federation for that much.

100k is massive overkill. 5000 probably would have sufficed

Giggling incessantly is all it's about now. Grim, I fail to see how you were nuking Dusty for 30 years without him knowing. I'm sure TFed guards aren't THAT incompetant.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Nope, pretty sure that after a 25 mile wide explosion, the guards were basicaly going to be killing anything that came towards them... It just doesn't work.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
And TFed guards don't notice 25 mile wide explosions. You should issue hearing and sight tests more often.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Soooo...how did TFed not notice large holes being blown in their wall with fusion nukes so that spies and demolition teams as well as cloaked helicopters (Which, for the record, would be absurdly hard to keep cloaked) could flood through said gap without any problem?
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Nope. Australia sinks into the ocean, miraculously managing to not cause mass flooding and global apocalypse.

... You have explosives lining the entire planet. Okay then. Also, your intelligence grids don't really work. Dusty could say "I have your secret military authorization codes" and you wouldn't be able to disprove him. Also, I'm pretty sure Dusty designed it that way so that the ships can't be targeted by superweapons and taken out easily. With that amount of smaller ships, you can scatter them, and make it harder to take them all out. Omnibrain casts Waterga on Pluto. Omnibrain gains 56 xp. *FF Level up Music*

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I'm not going to continue playing, so, as per rules on the frontpage, Australia has now ceased to exist. It sank into the ocean for some reason.

I didn't really want to kill the guy, but alright. If this puts me in a worse situation later, well, I'm going to be kinda annoyed.

Ares grabs the owner, and carries him, dragging him if need be. He also questions him on who tore off most of his wings while he is walking.
-
Dungeoneering
Ares grabs the stall owner and follows his directions, making sure to check for any traps or ambushes. He also compares the direction to the trace of magical energy, to check if they match.

Dungeoneering
(What the hell, I just lost all of my equipment... Including the enchanted stuff that took me ages to make.) Ares focuses and tries to pick up the energy again. He goes to the top floor of the building and begins dismantling the entire goddamned thing with geomancy while searching for his equipment. If he sees anybody, he fires a spear through their kneecaps before interrogating them.
