Dungeoneering
Umbra- The Dullahan again block it. Grim- You blast away the rock and see a cyan metal underneath.
-
Dungeoneering
The blade cannot puncture the shield. Come on, think outside the box here.
-
Dungeoneering
He blocks the blade as before. You think that there must be some use for this sword in the cave.
-
Dungeoneering
Umbra- You note that the sword is unnaturally light. Only about twice as heavy as the Onyx blade you're using now. It has an inscription on the hilt - "Caladbolg", and has a lightly cyan-dusted coloured blade. The hilt is inlaid with many gems. You suspect from the colour that it is a mystril-alloy blade.

Umbra- The Dullahan, despite it's great desire to tear you limb from limb, knows that it cannot break the chains. Every time it tries, the runes on the wall seem to glow brighter. As you walk through the courtyard, you once again notice the sword that the Final Guard dropped. The 1.5 metre long blade, in the middle of a large pool of dried blood. Grim- The master is finished teaching you for now. You go to the entrance of the cave. Killing trees does not seem to provide any xp. Hakon- We already have a hellfire forge room. Why don't you just modify that? Igos- You kill the scorpion. +.2 pyrokinesis. Ares- Sets off to Caster in an attempt to find some materials.

Dungeoneering
Umbra- The Dullahan shatters the ice chains with ease. Hakon- You succeed, albeit quite clumsily. No xp. Igos- The scorpion king breaks free and lunges at you. It hits you dead on and deals quite a heavy wound. Archarnis kills the nearby scorpions. +.1 solarmancy.

Dungeoneering
Umbra- The entity cannot move to attack you, so focuses it's energy on blocking, which it does so. The chains are all around it. You note that the figure lacks a helmet, and indeed, lacks a head. It also carries a large, 1.5 metre long lance with just one hand. You remember reading about something like this in a book once. It is a dullahan, you realise, as you note the ghostly severed head underneath one of it's arms, with a demonic grin on it's face and hair that burns like an otherworldy flame. It's armour is tinted green, and it has a cape which seems to be made of aquamarine blaze, and it has a mist around it which chills you to the bone. Jen is nowhere near powerful enough to create Ethereal chains. (2 bosses in this cave. Reward is worth it though, if I don't say so myself.) Hakon- You succeed. Igos- You and Archarnis kill the next group of scorpions. Only the king and the four around him are left. Igos gets +.1 pyrokinesis, Archarnis get's +.1 Solarmancy. Grim- The master says that you may learn there for a while. You gain .4 xp in any magic. Ares- Attempts to infuse the ruby adorned mask with shadow again. He succeeds. The mask will now create a thick shield of darkness when my life is in danger. +.2 dark magic.

Dungeoneering
Grim- He tells you that you must first dismiss or otherwise send your guardians away from the tower.

Dungeoneering
Jen- Umbra can take your character over, but nobody else. Guardians still roll for difficulty, as well. Hakon- The hole is 7 meters deep. Umbra- Pretty sure I gave you xp the last time you used spells. You didn't use any spells in the last two or so attacks though. As you place the gem in the pedestal, the pale blue flames begin to roar a deep scarlet colour. The runes on the walls begin to glow very brightly, and you can see the outline of a human-sized suit of armour across the room. It seems to be bound by ethereal chains. Ares- Attempts to infuse the ruby adorned silver mask with dark energy. He almost succeeds, but the energy jumps out of the mask and disperses into the air.

Umbra- Nope. Jen- The shield doesn't budge. What do you mean? If you think I'm keeping track of guardian xp as well... Grim- You succeed, but the rocks shatter almost immediatly due to poor casting. Hakon- You succeed, +.2 geomancy.
-
Dungeoneering
Grim- You fail, and decide that you really wont be able to summon ten targets and immediatly charge some combat magic. Hakon- You fail again. Jen- The crystal melts the ice. The sword refuses to budge from the floor it is stuck in. Umbra- You take the heart and suffer intense pain. -2 on all rolls while carrying it (Friendly reminder)
-
Dungeoneering
Jen- No, I mean, how does ice even carry a sword? If it was force magic or something, it'd make sense, but...ice? Umbra- The shield is still far too powerful for you to be able to break. Hakon- You fail to create stairs. Grim- You regain conciousness. Ares- Attempts to fuse the lunasphere and the sunsphere into the armour. Fails again, and gets annoyed.
-
Dungeoneering
Hakon- Several metres deep. Grim- You fail to wake up. Jen- Your legs are healed, you just didn't gain any xp for it due to the shoddiness. How does ice magic carry an 8 metre sword? Bear in mind that the thing ways a ton. Umbra- Good idea. 0 or -1 means instantanious death, no matter what. The shield seems to have weakened by quite a lot, but still exists.
-
Dungeoneering
Grim- You're unconcious. Jen- I already said that you shoddily healed your leg. Umbra- You feel intense pain in your fingertips. If you choose to carry this crystal, you'll get -2 on all rolls due to distraction from pain.
-
Dungeoneering
Umbra- The end of the sword begins to distort. Jen- What other stuff? You want to fire ice shards at a nonexistant guard?
-
Dungeoneering
Jen- Doesn't work that way. Hakon- You manage to create a hole. +.3 geomancy. Ares- Once again attempts to combine the lunasphere and sunsphere into the platerobe. Once again fails.

Dungeoneering
Jen- Hammerspace is handy, but it does have limits. You cannot store an eight metre long and two metre wide sword in your pack. You shoddily heal your legs. Grim- You accidentily summon a stone target below you, which propels you into the ceiling, making you fall unconcious. Umbra- You continue swinging, and eventually, the armour seems to cease functioning. It dissolves slowly into a pool of crimson liquid. As it dies, you note a crystal forming in the air and then dropping, in the shape of a human heart, like the one found before, but in this one, the patch of black in the centre almost covers the entire thing. There is an oversized sword in the centre of the pool, next to the crystal. Not as big as the Guard's sword, but still at least 1.5 metres in length. +.5 swordsmanship.
-
Dungeoneering
Jen- You succed in binding your legs together with ice, but since there are no nerves in ice, they remain unusable. You hilariously try to lift the 8 metre long sword, and of course, fail miserably. You freeze the guard to the ground, but it's flailing quickly shatters the ice. +.1 xp. Umbra- You inflict a large amount of damage to the Final Guard. The shell of energy seems to be getting thinner. Hakon- You fail at digging the tunnel again.
-
Dungeoneering
Grim- The entire cave has a mystril layer underneath the rock. Getting in is nigh-on impossible, unless you get a 20. Your magics bounce off the mystril. Hakon- You fail to create a tunnel. Jen- You did that yesterday. The Final Guard fell over, dropping it's sword and in th process cutting your legs off at the knees. Umbra- You recover.

Okay, I'll be rolling on everything after this post. You can start.

It's a cold or something I think, it isn't so bad that I can't run a session, so yeah.

Dungeoneering
Uh, hey. Sorry I'm late, but I've had an awful headache all day and I've generally been feeling pretty crappy. As a result, I ended up sleeping for longer than I meant to. But I'm here now. For the next 3 hours or so, anyways. Just give me 5 minutes to get my stats ready and then we can start.

Sixth Sense Techology (Not about the movie)
The day I get a popup ad in my field of vision as opposed to on a screen is the day I turn suicidal.
-
Dungeoneering
I'm out. I'll be going again at 9:00 PM - 12:00 PM tommorow (School and all, shorter session, sorry) unless it snows enough for the school to close, in which case I'll be going from 9:00-like 3:00.

Dungeoneering
(Last roll for tonight.) Archarnis- You manage to summon a small sun, and kill the scorpions at the entrance. The rest are too far away. +.3 xp Kemios- You find a sapphire. +.3 mining. Umbra- You fail to wake up. Jen- You succeed, and the Final Guard falls over, throwing it's sword backwards in the process. The sword hits you and takes both your legs off at the knees. (Sorry. You rolled a 20, then you rolled a three for dodging the sword.) (For the love of god heal yourself before it gets up) Ares- Attempts to infuse dark magic into the uncharged crystal he has and then crafts a sunsphere and a lunasphere into the armour. He creates the lunasphere, but fails to craft it into the platerobe. +.2 dark.
