Dungeoneering
Umbra- The Final Guard is now targeting you. You fail to awaken. (If you leave it's guard radius while it is targeting you and there is another person still in the guard radius, it will try to kill that person until he/she leaves.) Kemios- You find a piece of amethyst. Jen- Your create an icy floor, but it doesn't fall over. The combination of it's incredible strength and spiked boots shatters the ice again.

Umbra- You fail to recover, and end up fainting instead. Kemios- You don't find anything. Jen- You succeed in impaling it, but wonder how this would disable it. Archarnis- The quarry is a spiral pit (The classic quarry design). You note about 8 scorpions near the entrance, another ten or so around the sides, and a very large scorpion at the bottom, surrounded by 4 other scorpions. Nobody wants to assist you, as apparently everybody is afraid of scorpions.

Dungeoneering
Umbra- You did collapse, I just forgot to mention it. Sorry. Kemios- You can't really scan rock for gems with sonar, and the earth magic reveals trace amounts of crystal. You may have to dig for a while. Archarnis- I assumed you were going to go with Igos since he met up with you. Jen- You deal damage to the Final Guard. Hot ice explodes and scatters ice shards everywhere when it forms. It is almost within reach.

Dungeoneering
Igos & Archarnis- You meet up. Umbra- You launch a bolt of dark magic at the Final Guard, and knock one of it's guantlets off. The gauntlet crashes to the floor, and then turns to a pool of blood. You drop to the floor. Jen- Focusing on the pierced location will do no extra damage. You got no xp because you knocked yourself into a coma while casting it. You attempt to freeze it, but it breaks free with ease. The armour expands and seperates, but quickly reforms when Jen stops.

Dungeoneering
Correct. It's target is now Jen. Kemios- You find the mountain where the Drunk said it was.
-
Dungeoneering
Umbra- Jen fires some weak ice spears at the arms and deals some damage. You attempt to confuse it, but it predicts your movement (Stupid as in brainless, not stupid as in "If you run around me I'll spin around and then in a comedic motion fall onto the floor") and stabs you directly through the chest. You are instantly killed by this. (You rolled a six, it rolled a 20, sorry.) You lose 1.7 xp and have the option of starting either outside the cave or inside (If you start inside, you can engage the Final Guard again, if you start outside, you leave Jen to fight it on her own, and you cannot enter again unless she dies too, in which case, the doors open and the dungeon resets.) Archarnis- You find a stonemason, and he tells you that his quarry has been infested by scorpions, and that if you can clear them out, he'll give you full access to it. Kemios- The drunk has told you all he knows, gives you a rough location, and promplty throws up on his own shoes. Grim- The villagers tell you that the man you speak of set off for Caster a while ago. Igos- ?

Dungeoneering
Archarnis- The gypsies would like some materials, chalk and marble, mainly. Igos- The merchent wanders around in an eccentric patter for a short time, and then returns to you and congratulets you on joining the merchents guild. Before you even have a chance to answer, he has run off to get back to Caster. You feel bewildered, as you never really asked for membership. Umbra- You fail to heal. Jen strikes the legs of the Final Guard, dealing some damage. The Final Guard swings and misses you. Kemios- A random drunk tells you about "Shinys" he saw on a mountain to the north.

Dungeoneering
Grim- Takes you 10 minutes to do that. Igos- 10 minutes again. Umbra- Jen recovers. You try to keep the Final Guard busy, but you keep stumbling. The Final Guard catches your shoulder with it's sword. You ar quite badly bloodied up by this point. You deal the Final Guard a small amount of damage. Kemios- A nearby prospector tells you of a lack of ores around these parts, and that the land around Caster is very rich in minerals and rock. Ares attempts to charge his unpowered crystal with dark magic. He fails.

Grim- The granite elemental is not greeted well by the villiagers, who throw rocks at it and hit it with hammers and pickaxes. It shatters. Umbra- You deal some damage to the Final Guard. (It's kinda that I guess. There are like a billion different myths concerning animated armour though.) Jen- You launch a massive spear of ice, which pierces the Final Guard's breatplate from behind, dealing a lot of damage to it. Afterwards, you slump to the floor and are temporarily unable to move until you recover, due to the power of the attack. The final guard slashes at Umbra, catching his back with the tip of the blade Kemios- "Aye, that crazy bloke with the squid built it. It's called Ely... Ely...Elysummit or other"

Dungeoneering
Umbra- You manage to escape as it thrusts it's sword into the wall, a blow which would have certainly killed you if you had gone any other way. You fire a shadow bolt, and slash at its ankle, damaging it. (FOR THE LAST TIME, IT ISN'T A SKELETON!) +.1 xp in dark, +.2 in swordsmanship. Grim- You summon an elemental, but you performed the spell far better than normal, and summoned a granite elemental. +.3 Geomancy. Jen- You damage the final guard some more. The Final Guard turns around, swing it's sword with it, and missing Umbra. Kemios- "I heard o' one near that thar temple on the outside of town. The big 'un that popped up overnight some'ow." you hear a tipsy man say. Archarnis- You fail to find anything. Ares- Succeeds in creating a platerobe of balance. It provides +2 to light and dark magic, at a cost of dissallowing force magic to be used. It is black on one side with a red trim, and white on the other with yellow. +.5 smithing.

Kemios- You turn your legs back to normal. Umbra- The spikes form as you like them to, but bounce off due to being weakened. It doesn't seem like shadow magic will work here. You fire some weak shadow bolts at the Final Guard, damaging it slightly. Jen- You hit the Final Guard, damaging it some more. The final guard slowly steps towards Umbra, backing him into a corner, and pulls it's sword back. Grim- Your fire elemental isn't very well regarded by the Potsdell citizens, who throw buckets of water on it, badly wounding it.

Umbra- No, it wasn't a golem, it was a statue designed to look like a golem. The magic which destroys magical constructs spread out of the door. The farthest parts of the room still work, but that would mean fighting the Final Guard at close range. Grim- It will take you 5 minutes to get there. Jen- Your blow glances off the Final Guard. You note that spirits coalesced to block the attack, and you note that some of them dissapiated after wards, so if you hammer away at it for a while, it might die, or at least become vulnerable. The Final Guard swings it's sword, only slightly missing Umbra's neck by a few inches. Kemios- You fail, and turn your legs into solid rock. Ares- Fails to create his platerobe.

Dungeoneering
Umbra- You summon a dark elemental, and it screams and dies. You summon four shadow tendrils, and they all writhe and die. You set shadow spikes along the hallway, and they shatter. You can only use direct attack magic, really. The icy floor thing was a bit of a mistake on my part, and with the ice, I assume jen meant to channel it or something.) Jen- +2 to the roll. The Final Guard gets within striking distance of Umbra, and slowly raises it's sword. Grim- You summon a cold fire stallion. +.3 fire xp. Kemios- Creating gems via magic is difficult, and you fail. Ares- Fails to forge his platerobe.

Dungeoneering
Umbra- You cannot do that many things at once, and feel a sharp pain, so you stop. There is no damage to you. Jen- The FInal Guard does not care for wounds or damage. As I said, it has given killing Umbra priority, and only annihilation or leaving its range will distract it. Grim- Your elemental cannot go that far away from you. Kemios- The people in the tavern need specifics, or they just get confused.

Dungeoneering
Umbra- You remove the crystal. (I'd like to take the time to warn you, as a fairly friendly GM, that if you place the crystal into the other pedestal you are pretty much garuanteed death, since it doesn't deactivate the Final Guard. That said, it doesn't make it more powerful, either, and doesn't trigger a trap. However, you will need the crystal later, so taking it is a good idea.) Grim- The man doesn't seem to be in town anymore. Somebody tells you he has gone to Potsdell. Jen- You succeed, but the guards combination of weight, and spiked metal boots causes it to fail. Kemios- What kind of artifact are you searching for?
-
Dungeoneering
Umbra- You make it past the Final Guard. It prioritises you now and is not distracted by anything less than being utterly annihilated. +.1 healing magic. Kemios- You succeed. +.1 fire and +.2 necromancy Jen- The Final Guard is targeting Umbra, you run past easily. Grim- You strengthen the foundations. Ares- fails to forge his platerobe.

Dungeoneering
Umbra- You heal yourself. Kemios- You wake up, coughing due to nearly choking on your tongue. (I know it isn't possible, I needed a bad scenario for a roll of 1, and there was nothing else, really)
-
Dungeoneering
Kemios- You fail. You begin to choke on your own tongue. Jen- You partially heal Umbra. .1 xp.
-
Dungeoneering
Jen- I have 7.1 here. You are able to carry Umbra. Though it would be easier to just use healing magic...
-
Dungeoneering
Nick- You succeed. +.2 aura. Kemios- You stay unconcious.
-
Dungeoneering
Jen- You've done it so many times. +.1 ice magic. Ares attempts to create his platerobe again. He fails.
-
Dungeoneering
Jen- You succeed in freezing it perfectly. You have now blocked your way, since it was literally crawling through the door. You can fit through if it is not frozen.
-
Dungeoneering
Jen- You heal your arm. +.1 healing magic. Kemios- You electrocute and almost drown yourself, knocking you unconcious. Okay, guard is still inactive.
-
Dungeoneering
Jen- You fail to draw the ice magic, and freeze yourself to the ground by mistake. Umbra- It isn't an infinity-plus-one sword. It wont instakill the guard, since it still has a heckton of magical energy fuelling it. The platform is not created, so your action is disregarded. The Final Guard targets Jen, since she was the first to enter the guard range. It lurches into life, but doesn't attack yet. Kemios- You create clouds, but it is so ridiculously easy to do that you can no xp.

Dungeoneering
Okay, against monsters it just does more damage because it takes their power and syphons it out into the air, where it is useless. Against players, that effect occurs.
