I'd say we do this: We wait until this thread runs out of steam and people get bored, and then we create a new thread, fast forwarding into the future a little, we each migrate to the new thread and state a small backstory of what happened since the end of this thread and the start of the next one, then we continue on the game from their, with our prior empires adapted to fit the now interstellar setting. New planets can be reserved for new players, as well.

That would require a [bleep] ton of effort on your part. You would need a load of decent planet names to start with, a good rule system, and a lot of spare time. Also, if we do make the shift, I call super advanced machine race.

Okay, maybe we should think about migrating threads once we discover interstellar travel. Say, page 290-300 or so, we should change threads, keeping all the tech we already have, but taking it to an interstellar level. Reason being: We can actually update the original post with crucial information, making it more player friendly. We will all retain everything that happened in this thread, as well. Is this okay with everyone? Also, RPG, I'd like some cloned scientists to work on my carbon nanotubes. As many as you can get.

Also, I have a syrum which increases the efficiency of human senses, respiratory, muscular and circulatory systems. Go for it. Any extra help with nanotube research will be accepted. Also, Walka, I don't think you can program a personality. Its just cold and efficient, programming cruelty is basically pointless and will eventually lead to a rebellion.

Hey, did you guys ever think that instead of starting a new thread for an interstellar game, we just progress in this one until we are at that stage? My supercomputer tech is available to NWO members, but the ARC cannon is not. Reason being that the ARC laser is incredibly destructive, and I don't want people firing off lasers to cut buildings in half every two seconds.
