Anything, as long as its balanced and semi-realistic (As in, could happen. So no creatures made of pure electricty or anything.)

When you say hyperspace travel, you sound like you mean instantanious.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Isn't warp-drive the chosen ftl travell metod? Its not instantanious, its 50x the speed of light.
-

No instantanious travel. It will break the game. "I warp my ships right into your atmosphere and destroy all your cities. You have no way to prevent this." I don't care if it is in the realms of reality, it will still break the game.

What do you think? I think you're trying to get instant travel, which is hugely overpowered and not allowed.

What do you mean by warp travel?

Ships arrive at Sega-Res, so my flag is now officially on Sol-Ruoyk. Since it will be my home planet, I'm renaming it to Zypherius. Construction of the shipyard has begun, will be done in 3 years. Cataclysm II 2/4 Exeos V and VI are produced, the six Exeos ships and Rhadamanthus I & II are fully loaded with civilians, they will be sent off along with Cataclysm I and II to the Sega-Res system, and I will continue to ferry civilians until I have moved them all. (1 Exeos ship = 35,000 civilians, 1 Rhadamanthus ship = 10,000 civilians) Cataclysm ships will be towing about 25 Helios orbs and 4 Dyson shards with them. I would like to ask that Earth becomes a diplomatic meeting and trade centre planet when we have all left. Also, a map of Zypherius: [hide=Zypherius]Zypherius is almost completely devoid of life. There are some algae like creatures in the oceans and a a fair amount of ocean plant life, but aside from that, there are no other lifeforms. [/hide]

Ew. Twilight reference.

Do you prefer Summer or Winter?
Winter. I like the cold, and I don't care much for the sun, so I don't like Summer.

Zhoreuc. We will be travelling at 50x the speed of light, in answer to Hex's question.

That doesn't change the fact that the metal makes no realistic sense.

Stargate obviously doesn't follow reality, since that would make for a decidedly boring story. "Oh no, we must go through the gate again." "But teleporting will dissasemble our atoms and make us die." "Alright then, screw it." Television isn't usually true, Mather.

Yes, you are. Now you and Rocco play nice.

But there is no point in destroying planets. Just put it down, and leave it alone. You can't start yet because that would give you an advantage over the new players without you actually doing anything beforehand. Also, Doom, I thought we agreed somewhere along the line that making stuff permenantly uninhabitable was not allowed?

Think of it this way: We aren't allowed to totally destroy islands on Earth, why should we be allowed to totally destroy planets, which are, in essence, the countries in the space phase. Telling you not to destroy planets is kind of a pre-emptive strike. (I will admit that not having to update the map too much was a part of my reasoning) But theres nothing to stop somebody from just randomly blowing up every they can to screw the rest of us over and leave a bunch of empty stars. What possible purpose could blowing up planets have? Thats like beating somebody in a war, then instead of capturing their land, you just nuke it and sink it into the ocean or something.

And not the kind that kills itself by looking in a mirror. The kind with big claws that eats people.

Personally, I'd choose something along the lines of a Basalisk or a Gorgon.

No. It would mess things up. The planet lists, for instance, would be screwed up. Also, whats to stopping me from blowing up every single planet possible? NO DESTRUCTION OF STARS OR PLANETS.

Ships arriving at Sega-Res soon. Instructions have been sent to begin production of Helios spheres. I also revised the cost of those to 60 million each, which seems reasonable enough considering what they actually are. Cataclysm I is completed, and will remain in orbit of Earth until superluminal, when Rhadamanthus III, Cataclysm I and 6 Exeos ships will be sent to Sega-Res, all at maximum civilian capacity.(Just under 300,000 total) [hide=map][/hide] Removed my flag from two tiny planets in Recea-Decimus, decided to call it off. Rhadamanthus IV and V are now returning to Earth. Construction begins on Cataclysm II (0/4) 4 days till completion of Dyson bubble. PS. Dusty - No destroying stars/planets.

Please research the use of Their, There and They're, I told you about it yesterday. Basically, carry a silver crucifix and stand in the sun. A whip works as well.

What the hell kind of ecosystem did they evolve in to end up looking like that?

It was Dungeon, but I was discussing the idea. Tell me, I'm a machine race. I require no life support or oxygen, can survive extreme environments, don't age, and a mechos body is much more durable than a human body. Have I really godmodded? I don't think so. Rocco changed his people into reptiles with a crystal. That was fine. Australia turned into aliens due to a meteor/ship. That was fine too. I've discussed balancing issues a lot with Dungeon, and I will note some of the key points. - Civilians will only have access to very weak telekinetics, such as lifting a cushion, or hitting a switch. - There will be no "I lift your tanks 50 feet into the air and then drop them", more along the lines of "I move some of that rubble to provide tactical support". - They can't just stop a bullet with their mind (Elite ones could, but there would only be like 10 of those, and its just one bullet) since it takes a lot of concentration to use. - It tires people out quickly. Happy?

So how big exactly is a helios sphere? And a better description of it other than it's a defensive platform. Because if they cost 3.75 billion for 150, they are probably about the size of a tv, if you're lucky. Getting them into space would cost as much as building them too. They are assembled in space, and cannot move much at all on their own. the inside is about 80% hollow. They're only about 45m diameter, So assuming the shell is about 4 feet thick and made of tungsten... I have no idea how to go about this. Maths is most definately Not my strong point :-|

So the building is a giant geothermal plant? Or were the two unrelated?
