ARC stands for nothing. I was really just seeing if I could get people to say it in all caps for this long without asking. Its a laser, and I do believe that we have working lasers right now. I just modified it a bit for military use. Cataclysm III and Rhadamanthus IV, V and VI have been dispatched to the outskirts of the Imezon system. They have been ordered to take evasive action in the case of an attack, but otherwise remain stationary. If you attack them, it would likely be the end of both of you, considering your military isn't very strong, and you only have 160 billion GPD combined. I have also sent a cargo ship along with them to scatter around 40 Helios orbs amongst my ships position. You can take this as a declaration of war if you wish.

Actually, that is pretty funny  Anyways, I think you start off with a limited number of ships, but you really want to build a shipyard or space station asap really. Everyone's starting GPD is 80 billion, but that can improve with time.

Hex, and to a lesser extent, his voiceless follower Mather.

You have no idea how close I am to annihilating you two. I think the thread would be MUCH better off without you.

Nah, that was just me being a bit too realistic. I'm still going to go to war with you if you don't quit being a douche though.

You could store it up, yes.

Hold other projects, add money to them, train more scientists, create better equipment, etc. By the way, that thing you put in your signature is really, really annoying. I think Mather would be the only person who would even consider adding that to their signature. I can seriously feel my hatred for you growing every single time you post. Wait, theres a system 473 lightyears away? Are you sure it isn't a typo? I thought one of the points of a new thread was so we could have a new map with all the systems on it...?

... That doesn't change anything, I then open it up and look at the fried circuitry, then make an identical copy. It all melts. Literally, it all melts itself, leaving lumps of random metal where the wires and such were. In all honesty, it kept people away for long enough, but if you were really determined to do it, you could probably get it done in about 7 years. It fulfilled its purpose, and that was making sure nobody got their hands on it while I was building my forces.

The Dyatlov Pass Incident
Soviet supermonster? Nah, in all honesty, I think what Cracked.com says on the topic is true.

It fries all its circuitry if it detects its peices being opened.

I don't think you've chosen a planet yet. I think Doom "Discovered" a new system yesterday, check the first post for the system list, you can take any system which has these requirements: 1. No paradise planets. 2. Must start on an Earthlike 3. System must be uninhabited at the point of starting. You could probably get away with having basic mechs as a starting tech, but powerful ones will need to be researched. You will have an 80 billion yearly budget to spend on research, production and such, and a 10 million population. Basically, just say which starting techs you want, and we will make sure it is balanced. You'll also need to include a summary of your race, and an empire name. After that, its up to you to decide what to research, how to teach your people and such.

Isn't an EMP just a magnified EM field though? And also, EM fields do disturb electronics. A magnet has an EM field (move it over a copper wire, it makes electric energy), and you keep it away from computers. Why? Because it'll screw up your computer. Ok I'll leave the tech, but just to make this clear; EMP's generate short but large and powerfull EM-fields, EM-fields make electronics bahave a little odd if close enough while EMP's causes instant blackouts due to it being a sudden pulse. But your forcefield would encase entire ships in this field, and that would basically mess up all the technology in the ship. I think we all knew the difference between an electromagnetic pulse, and an electromagnetic field. Go freaking die in a goddamned fire, you stupid 8 year old.

My people are machines. It wont be a problem at all to understand whatever wierd language you can come up with. Mather, you know that this impossible-to-create-without-metal-that-doesn't-make-sense shield of yours would wipe all data stored on the ships, right? That includes steering and weapon procedures. Rocco, the two trillion is mostly going towards producing Mechos bodies for them, so I doubt they would complain. You can't produce Exo-suits, because of the tamper guard, there is no way of finding out how they work. I'm going to use that rule where I get 10 million people to Sega-Res, and then I assume all of them are there. The two shipyards will both be finished in 6 years, one above Zypherius, one above Orojike. Exeos ship production will continue until I have 20(Tommorow), then I will start producing mainly cargo, factory and battleships. Cataclysm III is finished. Helios orb production continues, I'm up to around 500 now, they are being scattered around all of the planets in the system. Space elevator research continues.

Oh, but it will take a long time, because what seems logical to me often seems completely pointless to others. That one piece of old technology is going to take you a year even to figgure out how works without the help of my scientists(they did the work for you when I gave it to you). You make it seem as if it's difficult to open it up and watch it do its job. Besides, its not like I'm exactly limited in the way of time. Okay, so apprently I have 2 trillion saved up over the last 20 years or so. I'm increasing the funding to my space elevator project by 30b per year. Building another two shipyards, one above Orojike, one above Zypherius, each one costing around 180 billion. Building another 10 factory ships, to produce Mechos bodies at a faster rate. And then I'm going to build another two Cataclysm ships, meaning I'll have five.

Heh, that doesn't matter too much. It means I can feed in a ton of innate, useless materials like nitrogen, or just random materials that aren't useful for anything else, and create the materials that I can use. I think you're forgetting that I'm basically the leader in mechanical tech, so if I really wanted to, it wouldn't take me that long to modify it to do other things as well. Such as reassembling quarks.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
So...You actually gave me the machine? Well, thats even better, it means I still have it and I never had to pay for it.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
You never stated that there was anything preventing me from reverse engineering it, so thats what I did. I don't need to justify the reasons, we already agreed on it, and its already done.

Mather, after much consideration, we've decided that its best you leave the NWO. The fact that you continue to support somebody who a lot of us regard as an enemy is bad enough, but we are all getting annoyed with all this ridiculous tech you come up with and the fact that almost everything you create is ripped off of stargate, like you have no creativity of your own. We will be keeping all the tech you have given us (The atomic construction units is the main thing here), and you are free to keep that which we have given you (I have no idea what we've given you).

I don't give a damn about the SAC, it cannot create 150 tons of tungsten (Actually a lot more considering a ship would be a lot larger than that) that easily.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
7m thick tungsten armour would cost a ton. That wierd metal cannot exist, period. Nothing can create energy, and thats basically what it does. And without said metal, your shield cannot exist either, as it would take absurd amounts of power.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
But how? As far as I can see, anything short of a superflexible, superdurable, seethrough material that can be stretched around the entire ship at will would just end up having some stupid drawback that would be abused to the point where it just isn't worth creating. Just use normal ship armour, thicker hulls etc. It means the ship takes longer to produce, but it makes a damn sight more sense.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Wouldn't an electromagnetic field pull metal objects towards the ship? And didn't we already agree that your mysterious energy creating metal doesn't make any sense?
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Could you explain to me how exactly you create a forcefield that can stop things like railgun bullets? Its possible, but would take more energy than you can possible produce, many many times over.

I can have them installed for 10b each. You need to remember that you'll probably need more than one. Also, you can get 10 for 50b.
