  1. I consider furbies to be the most dangerous in a situation where all mechanical things hate you. I mean, seriously, I can't be the only one who gets the hell scared out of him whenever I see those things. They were practically designed to kill.
  2. To be fair, the toaster was a very smooth talker. I would be more surprised if I hadn't done it. I'm still entertaining the thought of my toaster being alive right this second, but it's unable to do anything. It's only about 10 feet away, I can see it from here even. The best part is that it couldn't start the toasting process itself, the lever is only hand-pushed. It can only release the toast. It could...well...uhm.... Nope, I got nothing.
  3. True, I suppose. Ah yeah, I forgot to mention, I'm using Nerexcite in all of my other ships as well, not just the ones being produced. The procedure is fairly simple, so I'll just assume that it is installed when they next pass a system of mine.
  4. You could come on and then ask for a summary of everything you missed?
  5. I think three is an overstatement. There were probably at least 10, but I suppose most of it was Hex and Mather posting and then people telling them that things wont work.
  6. Fictional vampires can kill you. Fictional toaster with no means of walking/doing anything to hurt you unless you actually go right ahead and cram your hand into it (And lets face it, if you were doing this, its probably better that you were removed from the gene pool anyways) cannot kill you. Lawnmowers usually have guards on them, so unless it can actually remove the guard itself (Lawnmowers don't have hands) the worst it will be doing is bumping into your shins at about 1 mile per hour. Generally, most household appliances have no way to harm you unless you actually feed yourself to said appliance. Then again, knowing Hex, he's probably tried to feed himself to various kitchen appliances multiple times over.
  7. People aged 13-18 are, in general, total douchebags. Not all of us are total douchebags though, just about 80%.
  8. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.  'Fraid so. I just find the game boring. I even resorted to skilling :-# I'll still come online every week or so to talk to people. Also, just watched your latest video Den. Good stuff there.
  9. Yeah, its tommorow now, so its generic update time. 3 new space stations 2/4, total will be 7 plus Elysium. Hyperion 3/5 3 Cataclysm 3/4, Total will be 7 5 Rhadamanthus ships 2/3, Total will be 11 Harvester ships continue to be produced. Data splicing in 4 years. 1 Harvester ship has begun mining Nerexcite for the coating of the interior of my ships. Space elevator construction beggining in 2 years
  10. It just wouldn't work.
  11. Too much. Besides, you'd then have lumps of molten metal flying at your soldiers. Can you please, please, please try to come up with some realistic techs?
  12. Icuownage and Killerwatt, your request to enter the NWO has been accepted. You have both been sent Exobreaker A-4 blueprints as a joining gift.
  13. Latino, read PM. That sounds alright Doom, but prepare to have your inbox devoured
  14. I control Dowari and Ayuaro in the Sinabo system. Did you mean remind you through PM? Because posting it here doesn't really fix the problem.
  15. Five new systems have been discovered. [hide=Starmap][/hide] [hide=list of new systems] [hide=Kajea] Red dwarf 18 LY away 5 planets Kajea I (Earthlike) Kajea II (Desert) Kajea III (Minor arctic) Kajea IV (Major volcanic) Kajea V (Tiny)[/hide] [hide=Capiah] 6 LY away Blue star 7 planets Capiah I (Earthlike) Capiah II (Earthlike) Capiah III (Desert) Capiah IV (Desert Capiah V (Tiny) Capiah VI (Gas giant) Capiah VII (Gas giant)[/hide] [hide=Ekedou] 10 LY away Red dwarf 4 planets Ekedou I (Minor arctic) Ekedou II (Major arctic) Ekedou III (tiny) Ekedou IV (Gas giant) [/hide] [hide=Ema Quartus] Orange star 17 LY away 5 planets Ema Quartus I (Earthlike) Ema Quartus II (Major volcanic) Ema Quartus III (Minor volcanic Ema Quartus IV (Desert) Ema Quartus V (Gas giant)[/hide] [hide=Emazotran] 17 LY away Red dwarf 4 planets Emazotran I (Earthlike) Emazotran II (Desert) Emazotran III (Tiny) Emazotran IV (TIny) [/hide] [/hide] I dispatch two Eos ships and a Rhadamanthus class ship to colonise Ema Quartus IV. List of planets I own: Zypherius, Sega-Res Orojike, Sega-Res Dowari, Sinabo Ayuaro, Sinabo By the way, the scale is a little screwed up, but from now on I'm just going 1 lightyear = 40 pixels Also, Icuownage, that sounds alright to me. Take Ekedou I though, since Ekedou II is a major arctic, and basically no biological life can life there. You can now rename any planets which are [system name] I, II, III, IV etc. To make it easier on Doom, every two/three days, one of us should PM an edited system list to her so that the first post gets updated at a regular interval, and there isn't so much pressure.
  16. I lol'd. Like, really, really hard. The ARC cannon tech itself is not for sale, however, I can install them for people. 5b each on ships, 10b each on Surface versions, but 10 for 50b.
  17. You automatically start with 10000000 (10 million) population. Not sure about the rest. Anyone willing to make an alliance? I'm getting lonely. :( If you want to, I can send my default craft to your system with an offering of my craft designs and technology samples. :) Well, you have two choices, the NWO, or the EA. You could go with the "System lords" but, well..... Icuownage, just look for an empty system on the first page, and make sure it has an Earthlike planet, that will be the planet you start on.
  18. Trol, might I suggest having some high powered railguns on that craft as well?
  19. I would edit that into my sig, but tipit is being silly and not letting me.
  20. Lowering the funding of a project will increase the time needed to complete it. And Mather seriously gave you over half his budget? Lol. I'm assuming your GPD per person is about 38,000 now, so population*38,000 = Total tax money, then take 5% of that, and thats your budget.
  21. Absolutely stunning read, Hex, such creative talent and obvious aura of what I can only describe as an overdose of common sense you have.
  22. You still killed people for no reason. This wouldn't increase your production. End of story. Also, Hex, I gave you the goddamned formula like 3 days ago. [population]*1.04^[However many days its been] = Current population.
  23. FTL travel and a ship don't count towards your total. Pick about five techs that you think are balanced then they can be reveiwed by other people. Also, Hex, you just emo'd, but instead of cutting yourself, you cut other people. Does it really matter that much if I get some friends from real life to play this game? Hex: "BAWWWWWW [EMO'D] BAWWWWWW I'LL KILL SOME OF MY PEOPLE FOR NO REASON TO MAKE ME FEEL BETTER" Also, how the hell does killing/disabling/putting in prison like 2.5% of your people lead to a 1% production increase? It would either stay the same, or lower.
  24. Oh, I remember that movie. Yeah, that makes sense, but the thin skin radiation proofing wouldn't really work, so the shaded planet idea is really the best option you have, At least that means that they're resistant to the cold. And you can research something that would provide resistance to radiation after a while.
  25. Thing is Mather, some things do make sense, but would make the game unbalanced as well. In reality, my Data splicing wouldn't take long, but its a very powerful project so I decided that the research time should be increased. You seem to have researched these mini reactors in about a day, when something like that should require like 12+ years of research to be balanced for the advantage it provides...
