  1. Absolutely fine by me.
  2. I think its ok to change ur race, but omg its going to take a while, firstly, after you have tech'd it, you have to make enough robot suites and lets just say disks, idk what you store your mind on, for your current population, and the population expected to have when you have built the suites, that going to take a ton of money... I'm planning on researching everything first and then simply putting it together, all i'll have to pay for is: 1) putting everything together 2) eradication/find a use of humans. [/hide] A lot of futurescape movies and games show robotic races, but an equal amount simply show very advanced humans. To be honest, people are going to question what the hell you need their minds uploaded for, and the second you begin producing machines, people will start rioting. Also, its pretty pointless if you change your race to machines anyway. It would take upwards of 35 years for you to get Data Splicing, allowing you to reproduce, and upwards of 50 years before you could get machines capable of storing a human mind. Honestly, just stick with the race you have. Jeez. Mather, are we still in agreement that those things are going to cost an absolute fortune to produce if they're to be equal to 500,000 fusion reactors? I think 50 trillion seems about right for that kind of power, considering 500k fusion reactors would most likely cost over 1 quadrillion. Mind uploads = hidden from public eye I don't understand this data splicing thing, it doesn't seem required to reproduce really. I could simply carry on uploading minds or randomise the sentientence. Huge, huge overpowering. The reason its taken me so long is because if I did it instantly, by now, I would be absurdly powerful. Also, you try randomising millions of lines of code without something getting mixed up. Its pretty difficult, apparently. Also, how do you scan and document somebodies mind without them knowing?

Besides, you'd have 20 million people for 30 years with no growth rate. Honestly, just stick with the race you have. 4. It wouldn't matter, we decided it was basically impossible anyway. Edit: I see, then you have about 8 pages of arguments left to read through  Also: [hide=ARC Stream Gun] [/hide] Essentially a gun which has been modified to handle the extreme heat which a laser stream generates. Just for the record, I'm still using Doom's guns, but these are my primary weapons, so if something is resistant to energy weapons, I can use things like the AK2047. The Stream gun cartridge allows for 125 seconds of laser stream before needing to reload. [hide=ARC Blitz Cannon] [/hide] This is basically a Bazooka type ARC cannon, capable of turning a tank to slag with a single shot. Each Cartridge allows for one full power shot or two half power shots.
  5. Humans > Fat wierd dwarf humans > Cyborg fat wierd dwarf things > bacteria > Humans > (Machines) No more changing your damn race.
  6. I spent about 50 years total. (Thought I think you can be a bit more creative than that. (Don't steal my ideas please)) Also, how many times do you want to change your god damn race? Just stick with the race you have now, you've already changed it at least 5 times, and frankly, I think people were getting annoyed last time you changed.
  7. Well, this is what perfectionism gets me: [hide=ARC pulse cannon] [/hide] Part of the series of ARC handheld weapons which I am teching at the moment. Anyways, generic updates 3 Cataclysm ships finished, 5 Rhadamanthus ships finished, currently have 7 Cataclysm, 11 Rhadamanthus. Hyperion is 3/6. Space elevator base construction begins on all 5 of my planets to help ship supplies in. Data splicing tommorow. Mining of Nerexcite, other chemicals/minerals continues...Blah blah blaaahhhh.... Thanks for your help with the negotiations rpg, but my ships aren't doing much at the moment, they're really just sitting there.
  8. Mather, I'm pretty sure making your own money is godmodding. I'll edit this when I get back with all my new stuff.
  9. Real men don't even take breaks for food. Or sleep.
  10. Hex, your people do not share any of the tech that people on Earth had. Except the real basic stuff and any of the stuff in your bggining tech pack.
  11. I really hate how when you make a post its only ussualy one line long and has nothing good in it. I really hate how when you make a post and its usually a few lines long and has nothing good in it.
  12. Your average income is decided by your infrastructure and state of your country. Since most people in your nation are probably averagely educated, I'd say around 38-40k, yeah.
  13. I have no economical proplems that cause my slaves to be slaves, I just want them to be slaves, and the boom isn't going to be among them anyways, it'll be a Goa'uld and Jaffa population boom. Thats even more stupid. They already get paid more than anything else, if you increase the population, you wont have enough money to pay them. Also, slavery actually reduces your GPD. Plastics can't regenrate unless they have something that is causing them to regenerate.
  14. I agree with Hedge. Until you can afford to take your population out of slavery, you wont be able to afford a population boom.
  15. Hex, I've told you that at least 3 times now. I'm not telling you again.
  16. "Hey, a technology already exists somewhere in the world. That means it exists everywhere!" Hurrrrr. PS. Stellar Strife II is finished, so I begin to produce Stellar fighter ships with integrated AI.
  17. I think Doom spent like 15 years on plasma windows, you spent like 2 years on it, and you have a smaller budget as well.
  18. Take horse, take clay horn. Apply glue to horse head, attach clay horn. Tada, unicorn.
  19. Basically, a planet that is negative to your race, will always be negative, unless you happen to have a couple quadrillion in spare funding.
  20. Actually, not really. Mars was basically a godmod. In reality, the materials and chemicals needed for terraformation cost several quadrillion.
  21. I'm sending a ship to colonise Dowari in the Sinabo system, and I'm building another space station above a gas giant in Sega-Res. I'm building another armoured harvester to help with mining of Nerexcite. A tungsten coated ship is being built to harvest resources from The major volcanic planet in Eresu. Latino, if your Titan lands, its not getting back into space, so I would suggest sending down a colony pod or something.
  22. [hide=Use hide tags for quote chains] Ok, extremely high price to make ZPMs. At least in Norway there's 35% tax and that is halfway closer to my tax than your example, yet here we have a very good life with very little poverty, taxing the slaves 50% would make their lives survivable but miserable, that's why they are called slaves. Ok if it makes you feel better I'll just divide all their income by seven(NOK-Dollar). There's nothing saying how mouch "foam" is created because there's no way of knowing because there are, after what I have come to know, microscopic traces of it everywhere, in the void in between mass. New new income: Human 5 000 000,00 1 428,57 50 % 3 571 428 571,43 Jaffa 500 000,00 28 571,43 25 % 3 571 428 571,43 7 157 142 857,14 Goa'uld 100,00 1 428 571,43 10 % 14 285 714,29 [/hide] Can you possibly round those numbers? I can't read digits very well. Also, Hedgehog, I think its just easier if we stick to the current currency. Nobody uses the word dollar anymore anyways. We can just call it that in the occassion that somebody actually uses the currency type and not just the number.
  23. I said that 1 million fusion plants was hugely overpowered. 500,000 is STILL hugely overpowered. Make it 1 fusion power plant, and it will be roughly balanced, or these things would cost like 2 trillion each to create. You tax the slaves 50%, So thats 5k. If an average person in another empire earns 35k, and they are being taxed 20%, thats 7k . The isn't much difference. You are artificially inflating your GPD. Gou'ald'd do NOT earn 10 million per year, that is such a stupid godmod it isn't even funny. Also, I cannot find ANYTHING on the internet that gives even a hint as too how much subspace foam could occur naturally, so unless you can find a number for that, I'm going to consider it nigh-on-impossible.
  24. Oh for gods sake. Mather, your income is not that high. I don't think your population is that high either, and if you were paying them all that much, youy would surely go bankrupt. Remember, you restarted as a new race, so as far as I'm aware, your population is essentially the same as Hex's. Making your Goulad or whatever they are earn 10 million a year? Epic godmodding there. I'm pretty sure the two projects you have going on right now eat up most of your budget as well, cold fusion is no small deal, and it will take longer than 25 years considering Doom has spent several trillion on it over the course of about 80 years. Why must it always be longterm projects with you guys? Its not exactly efficient, I mean, you can't really get going for another 40 years at this rate. There is still no real proof that "Subspace foam" exists (And if it does, how is it created? Oh please.), so these zero point modules make no sense, and I'm pretty sure something that is equivilant to 1 million nuclear stations in the size of a bowling pin is overpowered. HUGELY overpowered. Reduce it to 0.5 nuclear stations and it should just about be balanced. Because thats still a ton of energy for its size. And no, I don't care if it takes 100 years of research, its still overpowered. Honestly, I leave for one goddamn night, and you two spam the thread up. This is the sort of thing that Rpg is getting pissed off at. You two talk to each other, you inspire each other to create even more [bleep]ed up tech and then you end up causing massive arguments. PS. DON'T QUOTE THIS POST, IT WILL EAT THE PAGE. JUST SAY "ROSS" AT THE TOP OF YOUR POST IF YOU ARE REPLYING TO THIS.
