.... BAHAHAHAHAAAA You took sides alright. You blindly supported Dusty in every way possible, without even fully weighing up the argument. Not only that, but you actually started inflating your ego from what I can only describe as leeching influence from Dusty. Then you decided to negate whatever ego boost you would have taken by making an invalid point and insulting rocco.

Hex, stop inflating your own ego because Dusty is supporting you. The argument has been settled, you can stop trying to sound smart now. Edit: Hex, did you just lose the argument and resort to spewing random insults? Rocco is correct, you did nullify your point, and if you keep this up, you'll just be digging your own grave, so to speak.

I abandoned the neutral Earth idea after like a week, so no worries on that front.

I think that's the basis of all arguments. But generally, this type of argument doesn't go on for like, 3 pages now? (Also, lol at Hex blindly supporting you)
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Sorry, by shouting, I meant stating the same points over and over again.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Yeah, but since then the argument has devolved to a point where you two are just shouting at each other.

So you were being patronising? I think its best that rocco and dusty are left to argue their own case Hex, you aren't helping.

Hex, that post didn't make any sense at all. I think you were trying to be patronising, in which case, gtfo. If not, then, meh, please explain your post.

Except you don't have a spare 300b to allocate. You can set it to take 10b per year out of your budget if you want, but you can't afford to just dump a hige pile of money into a project to be used over 30 years.

Why are we worrying again? Octopi don't have thumbs, move slowly, and present no real threat to anyone who hase a front door/closed windows.

Freezing the water vapour in the air? Nice theory, but there really isn't enough vapour to do any real damage, I think the cold would do more damage than the ice.

Freeze expansion thing? Wha? You linked to a blinding weapon, how does it freeze somebody.

Alright then. Hadn't thought of that one. You still can't just say "I improve infrastructure" and increase your GDP, considering that 42k is actually very high. You'd need to list the improvements made etc. Example: WIth my new efficient housing patterns and city structures, prevention of crime is incredibly easy, and travelling is more efficient, increasing my GPD to 45k. (I'm actually doing that, for the record)

What do you mean "How many main sciences" You would need to cut out a lot of physics and biology. EDIT: I checked the last five pages. I didn't find anything saying you were improving infrastructure.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Hex How, pray tell, are my assumptions wrong? You must stop your people from learning a lot of the main sciences due to their religious nature. If you taught them the full science, you would likely inspire a lot of terrorist attacks against your planetwide religion. You have also made no notable improvements to infrastructure that I know of. So as far as I'm concerned you just boosted your GDP by 2k for absolutely no reason...? Find me proof, and I'll believe you, but I never read anything on the subject.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
So you lied to me. my new GDP has changed from 42k to 44k When did I lie to you? You have done nothing to improve infrastructure, so your GDP has not increased. I actually assumed it would have lowered, since to maintain your peoples extreme religious beliefs, a lot of science would have to be left out of their cirriculum, lowering the average intelligence.

I think 42k is the starting GPD. Thought I would assume you lowered yours since all your people are apparently religious fanatics

I'm going to begin a new project, using the name of a project that I scrapped before. Project Ares. It will cost me about 5-6 trillion over the next 25 years or so.

To be honest, this is why you don't generally choose 100 year techs. It just makes the game boring and long.

I have no comment on the PEPs, since I don't know enough about them, however, FTL travel is available to all players when they join. City bases are being built on all of my planets, and the factory ships I have on Sega-Res have begun construction of house parts.

That was a stupid mistake of mine. After discussing with Doom, we decided that it needs to be 99%+ water, because 10% is still the size of Europe.

Ah yes, my efficient city plans as well. Basically, every home will only have the 'roof ' exposed, the rest will be below the surface. In the parts below the surface there are 2 other layers of houses, which means each 'cell', is actually 12 houses. A lift will be operated to get people in and out of the houses. All other buildings will work like this, except factories .etc, which will go slightly above ground to deposit their produce, of course. There will be a small rail running along each gap in the road, and automated turrets similiar to my goalkeeper guns, except they use ARC pulse rifles, patrol these rails along set patrol routes, making sure that the city is almost crime free and well defended in the case of an invasion. Picture: [hide=City plan] [/hide] Each square is a house, so in each 2x2 cell, there are four houses. In this particular 16 cell area, there would be around 10 autoturrets. The 'roof ' of each house will be a solar panel. Ps. Kirby, you realise that its difficult for humans to colonise aquatic planets, right? Did you change your race or not, I can't remember. But anyway, if you didn't, that aquatic planet is going to be negative for you until you can develop some kind of floating city or something :-|

Doom, my Pulse rifle delivers roughly 2.5x the power of your average US army regulation rifle in 2009 (Don't know the make  ), so I don't think its overpowered. I make up for the expensive ammo with increased accuracy, so little is wasted. Except the Blitz cannon, that just [bleep]s up whatever it hits in ways that science barely understands, and costs a ton to fire. Like 100m per shot. Don't expect to get hit by barrages of those things, they're expensive to produce as well, at around 1b each. And they can be used like three times before the parts start melting or getting irreversably damaged and it becomes incredibly dangerous to use. If the ARC crystal is fractured and the beam goes downwards or something, bad things happen. [hide= Aether stats for 21st October 2009] Aether stats - 21st October 2009 Population: 443 million Growth rate: 15% Average income: 43k Yearly Budget: 952 billion [Population]*〖1.15〗^[Days since last checked] [/hide] I started keeping a word document of all my assets, so that should make things easier to keep track of

What? Hex, where did you get 2040 billion from? You have two rather large techs which I imagine are eating about 60-70% of your budget as it is.... I don't see the difference between a PEP that blows somebody's head off and a normal sniper that blows somebody's head off. I think I'll stick with my silent, reliable laser weaponry.
