  1. There are always going to be extremists in the world, the country doesn't matter.
  2. Its incredibly difficult to obtain guns, they are really heavily regulated. I doubt you would be able to get one Hex.
  3. Why would it matter if the terrorists hate Hex as a diety or the government itself, they'd still be bombing things and shooting people.
  4. Silly anti gun laws. It means Britain is screwed in the event of a zombie/robot/anything/octokitty apocalypse (Maybe not the last one)

It has a unique flavour and texture. Personally, I love sushi, but a lot of people don't feel the same way.
  6. Because the internet stays online during a robot apocalypse. Also, how are you going to take a power plant? 8 year olds aren't allowed to buy guns... Oh, and what if the robots decide to start bombing the power plant. You didn't think your genius plan all the way through.
  7. That would be the most logical choice, and I think most rebels would be eager to take Rpg's weaponry. There are still 75,000 people performing terrorist attacks on your nation.

I am rather partial so Sea Bass, myself. I always preferred fish to other kinds of meat. Its very close though.
  9. [/hide]I'm just bieng fair. i'll now say that there are no rebels. What? Thats like me saying I was being fair and saying I was weak to EMP, then when somebody used an EMP on me suddenly spouting "Nah, I was kidding, EMPs don't actually affect me." -.- [/hide]Except they're in workhouses. Working. So they can't get guns/ I assume not all of them have been seen, a rebel force of 300,000 is probably going to be at least organised enough to not get every single one of their members caught.
  10. That doesn't happen that often, really, its just that when it does it gets massively hyped by the media and everyone assume every criminal is deported and tortured.
  11. I'm pretty sure we aen't forced to believe in a god who created the universe and talks through a giant statue in England. Hex, if I remember correctly, you stated that 0.3 million of your people were rebels who were locked up and sent to workhouses on sight. Now, if somebody were to supply awesome technology to said rebels (Rpg), I'm pretty sure that it would cause a rather large problem. (Yay for being in Rpg's sig  )

I just cooked bacon sandwiches. At midnight. Mmmmmm....Midnight bacon.....
  13. He finds Hex Hilarious apparently, so I don't know where he stands.
  14. I don't think so, I think Hex is just as bad as he was before. You, on the other hand, have gotten better since you stopped taking everything from stargate.
  15. You CANNOT just pour money into it and make it magically get better, that wont help, why the hell can't you get this through your 8 year old skull. The extra funding would not help, saying you were going to increase it by 6k over 10 years or whatever you said was acceptable, but the move you just made totally ignored the discussion that was going on for the last few pages.

What? That makes so little sense that I think a part of the universe just collapsed in on itself for no reason. You can't just throw a gyroscope into something you hold and expect it to be perfectly balanced. The bullets leaving the barrel would cause the gun to fly backwards, a normal shotgun will break somebody's arm if not used correctly, that shotgun will tear a persons arm off no matter how it is used. Unless it was turret mounted.
  17. AI = 40b free money = 80 billion Increasing your GDP to 60k would likely cost upwards of 1 trillion?
  18. If you wanted 60k, you'd have to hold AI off for another hundered or so years, since it would cost too much. Your budget is too low to make the improvements you want.
  19. No, no, no. GDP doesn't just grow indefinately as long as you feed money into it, it doesn't work that way. In essence, it gets harder to improve the higher it gets.
  20. Hex, you quoted yourself with a point that we already argued against and said nothing to back it up. Increasing your GDP by that much would take 6 years or more at the least.
  21. My city building and AI improvement should increase my GDP by 1k per 3 years for the next 12 years, just for the record.
  22. Well since you guys seem to love jumping the gun on daily updates (Posting tommorow's update today? GENIUS! -.- ) I guess I'll do the same. Nobody had better do this tommorow though. 23. Nukes. Yes, because people absolutely love engaging in a war just to find out all their homes were destroyed and cannot be returned to due to radiation.
  24. Thats stupid. You can't just pour money into something to improve it like that, offices and other buildings aren't that expensive, and raising it 6k by making buildings is just taking the piss. Something like that needs to be done gradually, over several years. I figure I have about 500b spare from the last few days, so i'm splitting it equally onto my three ongoing projects (Improved ARC lasers, Improved AI and mechanical stuff, and Improved city building)

It would still rip your arms off. Or it would just fly out of your hands and end up on the floor behind you.
