  1. Hex, that would require all your AI equipped units to be near enough that there is no lag, or it would take up like 95% of the mechanical brains power. Its not realistically possible. Pies, I think buying the clones and keeping your tech to yourself is better than getting free subjects and having to give away the tech.
  2. All races vary. Except special kinds. Like machines, but even then, my mechos still have varied minds.
  3. I don't think that deal is worth it. Rpg will get you those clones quite cheaply.
  4. Which planet are you positive on Mage? Also, I would sell you a few ships but mine cannot support anything that requires life support systems. Also, Hex, that toaster would need to have a very large hard drive...
  5. I'd like to help rocco, unless you stop stealing all your tech from stargate. Including spacecraft and weaponry. My Cataclysm ships have an advantage against your small ship in the way of goalkeeper railguns, which will lock onto and destroy projectiles and small ships that are going towards me. I'd advise you listen to the demands.
  6. THE. IDEA. DOES. NOT. WORK. Subspace foam? What? Stargate is a fictional show, Mather, a lot of the stuff on it doesn't make any physical sense. Also, as far as I can tell, 1000 Solar cells would have trouble powering that thing.
  7. With completed I mean researched over 100 years, that's over three real months, the version I use now is actually not more effective than a 5*5m solar-panel alone with an endurance of 5-7 years.. Then explain to me how you plan to power a plasma window. It would take thousands of these things to use it.
  8. Impossible. That is millions upon millions upon millions of volts of energy. It could not possibly exist.
  9. Seems rather innefficient. Unless you plan to mine the arctic planet of course.
  10. How much power do your zero point modules produce? It would need to probably need to be in the terawatts to fuel something like that.
  11. I am shure he will not lead any aggressive attacks, maybe some defensive ones in our little star-system, but you don't have any buissness there unless it is trading as we have the only two planets there. Hey I just realized something! That I can colonize just about any planet (aside from major volcanic) and that you have a major artic planet in you system. 1 ship has been dispatched along with a war-ship You can't colonize major arctics, and minor arctic would probably be rather negative. Major arctics are like, -100 degrees. You don't get 10% of your population each year. No, you bent plasma windows in one year. You still need more research. Quite a lot more for something that can submerge cities while keeping them safe. You also never fixed the power problem, and thus, your city's shield collapses and everyone dies from pressure and drowning. Secondly, MAJOR ARCTIC PLANETS ARE VERY, VERY HARD TO COLONIZE. One of my space stations in Sega-Res is completed, two more tommorow, then another 2 days after that. Data splicing in 9 years. Cataclysm IV produced, sent to the Sinabo system with 3 cargo ships which carry about 200 helios orbs in total. Rhadamanthus VII to XI will be produced now, they require one year each per space station, so that'll take me 3 days. 2 Cataclysm ships and 2 Rhadamanthus ships are still on the outskirts of Imezon. I start Project Ares. It concerns AI and warfare machines. It should be done in 10 years, with 30 billion per year being spent on it. I'm stretching my budget a bit, so thats all for the moment.
  12. I think not. You need millions, if not billions of lines of code for adaptable sentience. If it were that easy, I think I would probably be a whole lot more powerful than I am now.
  13. Oh god, you mean sentient AI? You'd better add another few decades to that. I guess there are 3 basic stages of AI, dumb, smart, and sentient. So far, only smart AI has been created, even my people aren't technically sentient AI, since they were human originally. Dusty's social robots are smart, my Icarus drones are smart, my backup mind is basically dumb, with some features of smart AI.
  14. Aside from my peoples backup mind, but thats in the gap between dumb and smart I think.
  15. Yeah Dusty, I think you and Walka have the only other smart AI. I mean, sure, a dumb AI would work and not take too long (5 years?) but if you want an adapatable one, its going to take upwards of 10 years.
  16. Quite a lot. I believe I spent about 20 years perfecting mine while putting 55b a year into it. It was combat ready after about 10 years though. Britannia and Japan's ships are having goalkeeper systems fitted to them at my shipyard in Sega-Res. Should take 8-10 years.
  17. If heat is a weakness then the whole thing is rather redundant. Honestly, ifs either overpowered, or totally fail with most of your tech, Hex. You need to cover your weaknesses or just have an all round decent defense, not focus on some points and leaving the rest exposed, that wont get you anywhere.
  18. Lightweight, incredibly durable, freeze resistant, electric conductivity..... Don't you think this polymer is slightly overpowered? I would at least like an explanation of what it is.
  19. Hex, moving metal through air using thrusters sounds very, very innefficient.
  20. What you ask for cannot be done.
  21. This game is all about expansion. If you really want to stop somebody expanding, then your only option is to fight them. Personally, I'm happy with my four planets for the moment. I'd rather reinforce and upgrade everything on those planets and leave them flawlessly functioning first. I suggest some other people do the same. Having lots of planets with lower populations can only do damage to your budget. Hex, unless there is a huuuuge hollow space filled with air (And I mean like, impossible large) then no. Can you guys please put those quotes in hide tags, you just ate the page
  22. The main processor is split into two parts, one is in the head, one in the chest. Those two are also the parts with the most armour. If one part of the processor is destroyed, the drone will lose a lot of its capability, but it will still function. The limbs are tendril-like, and they will get back up if they trip. Much the same way as a human would get back up, except they can move about 5x faster than a normal human. Hedgehog, shipyards are usually created in space, since getting ships off the ground is quite difficult. I'm sure we can just pretend you were building it in space all along though. I leave for like 25 minutes to watch an anime episode, and I get yelled at? Jeez, patience is a virtue, Hex.
  23. The drone that makes up my main infantry force... The ones that I've been using for over 20 years now? They're about human height, skeletal type machines with a gun attached to one arm, and a variety of tools attached to the other. Most of them are equipped with specially modified versions of Doom's guns, which she agreed she would produce for me a while back.
  24. Forgot to mention in my battleship specs that all of my ships contain Icarus drones, mostly in pods which line the walls, so a hijack is near impossible.
  25. Its a large laser that gets channelled through a prism to focus it to incredible power. It can be fired in short bursts or continuous streams, however, while using the stream, it must activate expensive cooling systems. The heat it generates will cut through solid titanium in seconds, but it requires quite a lot of power. Mather, are drones ships? If not, what are they? And what are jumpers, as well? Also, Plasma windows aren't really force shields, they're just docking bay windows, they can't go much farther than that.. To create one capable of stopping projectiles would, once again, be incredibly difficult to power.
