  1. Everyone starts with 10 million people. Everyone starts with a budget of 80 billion. Pies chose to have a lower budget. Description of the battleships was deleted during the changeover. They're battleships, they have a four main ARC cannons, around 12 heavy railguns, then the rest of the ship is coated with 72 automatic light railguns which are designed in much the same way as the present day US Navy's 'Goalkeeper' system, albeit more accurate and with a railgun, instead of a chaingun-like weapon. [hide=Cataclysm class battleship][/hide] I don't think plasma windows can be bent, either. Well, not as far as the research I did tells me.
  2. Not at all. You got that free money as well. Pies is actually refusing it. An extra Cataclysm battleship has been dispatched to Imezon simply because there isn't much else its doing at the moment.
  3. I don't think you understand the context it was used in.
  4. Yes, I do. It also shouldn't conduct electricity or be magnetic. Why are you telling him what he can and cannot research? Because it was being designed specifically for use against me. The electricity and magnetic parts were just because I don't think a polymer can have those properties. I could be wrong about conducting electricity though. Also, Mather, I know a dart is more agile than a squid, and that isn't even an animal.
  5. Yes, I do. It also shouldn't conduct electricity or be magnetic. Also, Mather, fyi alpha radiation is the least penetrating, but its the perhaps most dangerous. Radon gas, for example, emits alpha, and since it gets into your lungs it is very dangerous indeed. You shouldn't just dismiss it, all radiation is deadly.
  6. Don't play dumb. You specifically wanted to create a material that deflects light. My primary weapon happens to be laser. I happen to be at war with you (Technically, its not true war yet). It doesn't add up well for you. Also, dusty, I like that update system, I think I'll use that. 7. So you're researching an almost invincible material? I would think that would take a lot longer than 10 years, if possible at all. 1. Polymers can't really be magnetic. 2. I can already tell its specifically designed for use against me. I'm not that stupid, I already knew you were planning to try to take me on. If you try to create said material, I'll destroy the research facilities that are working on it. And if anybody thinks this is too harsh, think of it this way. Somebody is creating a new gun that uses your weaknesses as its strong point, and you find out about it. Are you just going to let them be until they finish it? I don't think so. You really should have used a secret project for this, because now I'm going to want to know about any projects you start on. Not very tactical thinking now, was it?
  8. In reality, it would only take me about 1 year to research my data splicing. I specifically set it back because otherwise it would be overpowered. I made it take about 20x longer than it would have.
  9. You're going to need some research time. It doesn't seem that powerful, so I'd go with two years.
  10. So its radioactive and stable? Eh, whatever, doesn't seem that useful to me.
  11. So, what does this metal actually do? Its probably better if you tell us now, rather than us finding it impossible later and then getting pissed off at you again.
  12. Something that can be used to mass clone people? I don't think there is a metal that can do that.
  13. Yet another ripoff from Stargate. Its really starting to annoy me now, and I'm sure its starting to annoy everyone else too. Anyways, with the 1 trilliion from selling land to Norway, I'm going to produce two more shipyards, one above Zypherius, and one above Dowari in the Sinabo system. Rhadamanthus VII - X and Cataclysm IV-VI will be produced over the next 7 years, Helios orb production will continue during this time, factory ships being built, harvesters being built, yadda yadda yadda. Ships are still in orbit over Imezon, and will remain there until I feel like pulling them back. Data splicing in another 11 years I think, but I'm going to add more scientists to it, and add a 10 billion reward to whichever team can first perfect it, in addition to their normal pay, so I think I should get it done in about 9 years instead. Just for the record, Data splicing will allow me to mix and match fragments of uploaded minds, essentially allowing me to reproduce. Work begins on reverse engineering the Atomic construction unit.
  14. Ah, that explains it. I'll keep that one trillion for later use.
  15. Eh, thats just a mistake
  16. I'm selling my land in Gaia to Indy.
  17. Naquadah. Doesn't. Work.
  18. I think a plasma window might work, but it would be horrendously difficult to power.
  19. Heh, I know you're going to try to take me on, don't even try to hide it. You two have been pming each other and discussing it. Kill the forcefield research. No matter what, there will be a major, major flaw in it. If its completely indestructible, it wont even be allowed, unless it has some drawback like shutting off all other systems and only being active for about a minute. This talk about forcefields has begun to annoy me, and everyone else that I'm talking to on IRC as well. Kill the research.
  20. I don't think your scientists will be overjoyous at doing hundereds of hours of work for a meal. Or getting burnt. Just for the record, people are just going to create some kind of magnet bomb, or indeed, that ion ray, to mess your forcefields up now. Basically, people are so aware of it that creating it is now redundant.
  21. Woah thats a long post Dusty. Except a lot of it is outdated Especially the starmap. Also, Eos ships have been dispatched to Ayaruo, in the Sinabo system. I'm sending ships to Dowari as well, but I'm unsure if somebody is already heading there. If they are, I'll call the ships back.
  22. If you really did enough research then you'd know that to power a wormhole, you need access to almost limitless amounts of energy.
  23. Annihilation class ARC lasers, heavy railguns, light railguns and a few fusion nukes, for good measure. 2 Cargo ships have been dispatched on a trade route between the Meoxo system and Sega-Res, they will pick up the shipments on a 2.5 year cycle. Expect this to add about 8 billion to your GPD for the time being. When you can produce more minerals, I'm sure this number will be higher.
  24. A shipyard will take around 3 years to produce. I think you can have a small space station as starting tech though, so you aren't left behind in the way of ships. Hedgehog, I will trade rare metals and minerals with you.
  25. I don't care. I'm not taking the money. You know my demands, stop being a douche, and I'll call the ships away. However, they will remain there for the next 7-10 years anyway to make sure you actually stop this time, not say you'll stop then do it all again later.
