I like the tourney layout better. Even though I couldn't make it to the last MSSW (curse the 2000 player limit :evil: ). I'll get on an hour early this time. I hope my new computer doesn't lag.

I'm pretty sure, although I don't know where to upgrade since I use a Mac. EDIT: Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I saw the, "All questions belong here" and I thought that meant all questions that have to do with RuneScape. I guess this kind of does. I don't know, you could probably just move it if it's in the wrong section.

Right after I login, it tries to display a "video ad," but instead the RuneScape client goes black. How do I fix this? Things I've tried: Switch to the Unsigned Java Applet

Does anyone know of monsters that drop items that are worth a lot? I need at least 1 that's under lvl 40. Any ideas?

Why can't Jagex be a little more like Blizzard and NOT CARE?! I don't see anything on worldofwarcraft.com saying anything about RWT!

It was obviously meant to lend items to friends who want to use it in a clan war or something. Not complete strangers.

NOTE: this is not a guide, but more of a few handy tips. If you've never played Fist of Guthix, this will not tell you how to play. What to wear When you play Fist of Guthix, there is a lot of running around to do. Full Rune isn't always your best choice of an outfit. I always wore this when I played FoG: [*:3fb3gnbp]Wizard Hat [*:3fb3gnbp]Wizard Robe [*:3fb3gnbp]Green D'hide/Studded chaps [*:3fb3gnbp]Fighter (SoS) Boots (P2P can go Rune Boots) [*:3fb3gnbp]Gloves/Leather Gloves [*:3fb3gnbp]Weapon/Arrows Strategy When Hunted Pick up your stone and sprint to the center as fast as you can. Try to stand in the most crowded place as possible, so your hunter will have trouble finding you. This can buy you some time. Once/if your target finds you and attacks you, run to one of the portals (yellow zones in picture). You will be damaged a little, but don't use your bandages yet. Teleport, and run to the outside. Run around the entire arena once, then go back to the center if the coast is clear. If it's not, take another lap. The last thing you want to do is be caught standing still. Continue this until either your killed, or time runs out. If necessary, teleport some more. Remember, if your HP drops down to about 20%, use your bandage. When Hunting When you're hunting, it can sometimes be difficult to find your target. If this is the case, don't forfeit. You should at least give it your best shot. Even if your target is 50 levels ahead of you (it's happened to me!), just keep playing. Pure melee's sometimes have trouble because of the fact that they need to be right next to their target to attack. Since most pure melee's often train magic, just use the runes provided to do some ranged damage. You might want to bring a (magic) staff in with you. Try looking in the center of the arena on the Fist of Guthix. If you see their arrow, keep right clicking around it until you find your target. If you don't see the circle, try the areas around the portals. If you still can't find them, run a lap. If you still can't find them, they're probably on the Fist of Guthix again. Just keep looking. This is my first max-hit that's ever been in the double digits. It's not the first time I've hit a 10, but my max-hit has never been in the double digits before, so I decided to snap a picture of me hitting a 10 on a Jail Guard. What I think: Jagex started out Runescape as an F2P only game. They saw that they could put more money in their pockets by adding the P2P option. Of course, they didn't want players to have to start out paying $5 a month, just to kill Goblins, make Bronze Daggers, and beg the lvl 80+'s for money ( :? ). That's why they kept the F2P option. To let players get some of their stats up a little bit before paying for the full game. Besides, they could just put ads on the F2P game page to make a little bit of money of F2P players. They knew that some people wouldn't find it necessary, couldn't afford it, couldn't play so much that it'd be worth $5, etc., but they still make money from the ads. So they didn't really care how many people played for free, because they still made money off of it.
