Sigur Rós - Svefn-g-englar In a chillout sort of mood tonight.

If any of you ever get the chance to see post-rock band Sigur Rós, go. You won't be disappointed. I went to see them in a field on the 19th of July and they're now my favourite live band. [bleep]ing INCREDIBLE.

You consider Amon Amarth Melo death? They're kind of a cross between Viking and MDM in my opinion; but they definitely sound closer to MDM than Viking. Viking metal seems to be more like folk metal with Norse themes from what I've heard of it.

Anyone remember the Muhammad cartoons in Jyllands-Posten awhile back? Well, I'm half-Danish, and some Muslims I knew burned the Danish flag. I did feel rather offended because I myself and 99% of other Danes had nothing to do with it at all. If they'd actually read the article before being so uptight and intolerant of freedom of speech - which Denmark is renowned for. I believe the article was on freedom of speech; but I won't link to it out of respect for any Muslim members here.

I personally say let them be; fads come and go. It does appear that Russia is turning to a Soviet-style regime again, though.
