boo. i disagree. skill capes were NEEDED in runescape. it was necessary so players can have a sence of accomplishment after their hard work of obtaining a maxed skill. I'll admit some reward for getting 99 in a skill was needed but honestly skill cape's are the cause for probably over 75% of people getting a 99. *cough* cooking *cough*

It's attitudes and cockiness like that that ruin the aspect of a game that is supposed to be fun. The main reason people pj is because it's the only way they will get a kill. Pjing is just one thing to do in game to show jealousy. Others being luring monsters onto someone, and showing no courtesy for other people playing a game that was made to be a hobby in a persons free time.

I really don't think this is making a more mature community. I know a few younger kids, around age 10, who play the game, and the day of the update, a few of them constantly messaged me, using their new found swear words, and I feel that many younger kids seem to find it fun to swear excessively. I am hoping that some parents of younger kids will see this and not allow their children to play any more. That could deal with some of the annoying little kids. Younger kids thinks it's cool to swear. :roll: And I like your idea, we should all get under aged kids playing the game to swear hoping their parents will see. :lol:

To be totally honest I think they have improved the system to detect fixed fights. When they first came out with the guidelines and improvements to drops I could easily get 4m+ within 30 minutes time of potential and a few kills. Now with 1 hour+ potential i'm hardly getting 300k a kill, Not worth it anymore in my opinion, just pk.

Do you know anything about probability? Say your rolling a 20 sided die. If you roll it 10 times, you'll get a seemingly random assortment of numbers. If you roll it 100 million times, you will get each number 5.000000% of the time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Probability It's taught in every basic collage stats class. View that page for a refresher. That's not how it works. You should theoretically get each number the same amount of times but you almost never do. It's like someone saying a drop rate for something, say for a whip: 1/400, theoretically you should get one in 400 kills but it's random, I could get 5 within 10 kills.

I got from 89-99 Strength in about 2 months? And from like 65-81 slayer? somewhere around there. Not to mention the millions reaped from drops, and not getting bored. Slayer is the best way to train.

It has always been this way and for most weapons such as the d-bow the probability of them k0ing you is very slim. However since d claws were released you are almost guaranteed a 1-2 hit pj k0. So if anything it should be changed for that simple reason that there has never been a weapon as powerful as the dragon claws.

Get over it. Pjer's have existed since the beginning of the game. If your so afraid or low on food, just grab the drop and tele.

claws are also leaving the game due to people using it at pvp and dieing with it. because it is effective at pjing, the lucky players who can afford claws brings it without risking millions on street price. What is their General Store price? Do they not protect over many PvP items (rune/scimitars/etc)? It's high alch price is is 50k. It protects over the standard pk gear, (rune legs, plate, helm of neitznot) but it doesn't protect over a d scim, whip, or even d long.

Tbh I think they shoulda brought back the cabbage, and replace asteriks.

Okay, I see where your coming from on the delayed animation but, for example have you ever seen those people with claws camping by the g/e shortcut? They do that because they can attack you right before and while you are in the tunnel with the claws spec, I can't say i've seen any other weapon do that.

You also get hit more often when wearing void + Bunny (at least I did, 99 defence) and I had to use up invent space on food which makes me lose out on gp/hour. Whereas with a Bunny + Prosy not only do I maximize my invent space I can also make less trips to the alter which does balance out to more exp/hour. I have tried both ways and I find myself gaining more exp/hour with Proselyte. Yea an with void you miss out on bonuses with the Neitznot, Barrow gloves, and even bandos. I really never noticed a difference in void to the set up mentioend above, exept for maybe a 1-2 more damage and maybe a bit more accurate, but the defense loss doesn't make up for that whatsoever, so no don't waste your time like I did.

Dragon claws, yea the glitchy, overpowered spec weapons. The ones that can hit through walls and 10 squares away. The ones...ehh enough of that...onto my point ;) Today, the 12th of January dragon claws are 7.2m medium price on the g/e and 30m+ on street. When first released they were sold on g/e for an average price of around 150k-200k. They have risen 550% only in the last month. So, with all this hype around them they are bound to crash sooner or later. Right? Well I thought that too until Jagex made tormented demons harder and uncampable. So my question is do you think claws will crash and if so, when? I personally think they will crash within the next 2-3 months and maybe drop down to 2-3m on g/e. That is if no changes are made to them.

If you can't afford a dfs, then keep it. It's always useful to have a high defense shield for boss hunting or strong monsters.

I sometimes mage barrows with veracs and I don't always pray on dh. It's pretty common tbh. -.-
