God [bleep]ing damn, I had an offer in for well over a month and I couldn't buy one. I tried max price, I tried med price, I tried leaving it for a few updates and no luck. It's really [bleep]ing annoying that people do this [cabbage], make items unbuyable, I wanted that shield and no matter how much money I threw at it, no one would sell me one. I HATE THE [bleep]ING GRAND EXCHANGE

im gonna go with this (but, mind you, my guessing ability for RS updates hasnt been good lately) the second part does sound more like a CW re-balance though It won't be the Ardy achievement diary, J Mods asked for suggestions for achievements for it on the max players forum and said it would be out at the start of next year at the earliest. They said it would be really hard and require 80+ maybe even 90+ skills to complete. This week's update will probably be unexpected and super lame. Maybe removal of hoods from cw? IDK, but they should do that.

Next week in #RuneScape: more things to do around the marketplace & a few "under the hood" fixes to some old but much loved content. Ajd It'll be something unexpected I bet. Only thing I can think of is something Grim Reaper related for the halloween event, but that would be a new update and not a fix for old content. Maybe a update to skillcape hoods seing as how they are useless and ugly? Might as well throw in the max total cape while they're at it ( I can hope can't I?).

It seems pretty obvious to me. From the postbag a while back we know a new elf quest is coming. First thing that comes to mind from the west is the elven lands. So hopefully MEP3 is coming out next week.

You figured it out....horses are coming to runescape very soon...it was already leaked on the maxed players forum. Andrew said sometime this month.

Great update! They are extremely good potions and the ingrediants are hard enough to collect so it's a nice balance (I guarantee all the supplies for these are bought out). You will have to collect/farm your own for now so I'm all for it. I do think they are a bit overpowered though....should have got a potion that buffs a good amount of hp as well. :???: It was easy enough to 2-3 hit people before....a hybrid with max gear and overdose now will just rape the average pker.

Yup, I guess it's kinda true. I'm at the point on Scape where I've done EVERYTHING. Maxed out every level, done every quest, pretty much done it all and have it all. I have everything I need/want in my bank and it's starting to get a bit boring. It's hard for me to find stuff I like doing nowadays and am finding less and less of a reason to keep playing. Today I sat at the grand exchange looking at random stuff to buy and didn't really buy anything as there isn't much left for me to buy. About the only thing I still want is an elysian spirit shield and no one will sell me one :cry:

Most people just don't appreciate the effort that go into Runescape's quests. Go play most MMO's and the quests all involve going and kill X amount of monsters and going back for a reward. Runescape's quest involve puzzles and problem solving and have great stories that most people just skip. I watched my brother play before and he just used a guide and skipped all the story parts because he just wanted to get it over with. When I do a quest I don't use a guide (unless I really need help (MEP2!)) and I like to spend the time and enjoy the stories as most are written fairly well. Basically the people who don't enjoy quests are the people who don't try to enjoy quests. There is one quest I hated though, Ratcatchers....I did it with a baby kitten and it took forever to kill the rats and I found it really hard to sneak past the guards....other than that I enjoy most quests.

There's an irc bot that tells you when the ge updates, i'm assuming you use this in conjuction with a skill you train at a bank. Not sure what the bot is i just use a tried and tested method of my own. I wrote myself a program that the instant a GE update is detected (And it can catch it within the second of a GE update), it plays loud music through my speakers and opens a RuneScape window for if I'm not at my PC. I also wrote one that will just notify me within 3 seconds if I'm in game. And now I know why I can never buy anything :cry:

I might change my name if I find something I really like. I do have a noob account with the name Manbearpig, so I could always change to that. :lol:

I have offer in for the sigil right now, and I know they are going to crash, that really doesn't bother me. It's something I want and I have the money for it, so why not? And I've been saying they are going to crash for over a month now and they still haven't....

If the new skill is a money drain then all rares should drop for a while. New skill won't be out til next year though.... Also, does anyone know the best way to buy an elysian on the grand exchange? Been trying to get one for about a month now with no luck...

Max total cape? I know for a fact one is coming out and the most popular color choices were pink and gold which are both on that cape....been waiting a while for it as it was announced at the start of this year.... :ohnoes:

What items are still possible to get doubles of? I know god capes and holiday items are still possible. I know you can't get double Diary rewards or agility clothes now. I was too late to get those :wall: :wall: :wall: Anything else still worth getting doubles of? Edit: I wonder if anyone got multiple runecrafting pouches

Unblock abbys lol! You have to fight them to get a whip and you can't expect one every trip. Besides, they are great charms and decent slayer xp and easy to kill.
