Toki is pretty manly for a healer type. He can heal people by gently pressing power points on a sick person's body (Which makes Toki sorta Jesus-like). Plus he has the ability to kill his enemies without having them feel any kind of pain. This type of compassionate man would have easily been the successor to the Hokuto Shinken style.

I don't "like" it because of the art lol, oldish looking animes/manga look weird to me. But it's those very "oldish looking animes/manga" that have that epic nostalgia factor which is why I prefer classics (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Fist of the North Star, G Gundam, Ranma 1/2, etc.) as compared to today's new anime.
