The way how 1.9 is installed is the same as how 1.06 is installed.

...The SD card reader doesn't go in the Wii. Just put the SD card in the SD card slot in the Wii.

If you just updated your Wii firmware right now to 4.0 you can still get Brawl+ because the Bannerbomb exploit will bypass 4.0 and allow you to install the Homebrew Channel. After that you should not update your Wii firmware ever again.

But don't worry Bannerbomb works on System Menu 4.0 so Brawl+ will be yours shortly. What I meant to say was don't update anymore after System Menu 4.0.

Every Nintendo firmware update can possibly brick your ability to soft-mod the Wii.
