How about, instead of 250 people, we use 40. The fight would look something like this-- Tip.iters enter with Rune Crossbow and Ruby Bolts (e) and range the beast to about 30-40% health left. Take out the Dark Bow for the kill, hitting a minimum of 16 per player, or at least 600 damage, I would guess about 850 damage. By the time the next one shows up and gets down to 30-40%% health again, your special should be back. It drains 55% of the special bar by the way. I am f2p and have no idea on how the fight would actually go, but 40 seems like a much more reasonable number then 250.

How much would it cost to get to 52 summoning?
matrix2613 replied to Necrobrawler's topic in Help and Advice
Ok, If you have not done these quests, use the xp lamps on summoning- Spirit of Summer -1k xp Summer's End - 1.5k xp A Fairy Tale Part II - 2.5k xp(lamp) A Tail of Two Cats - 2.5k xp (lamp) Contact - 7k xp (must have 30 summoning) (lamp/wish thing) The Great Brain Robbery - 5k xp (lamp) King's Ransom - 5k xp (must have 50 summoning) (lamp) Legacy of Seergaze - 2.5k xp (must have 35 summoning) (lamp/book thing) One Small Favour - 20k xp (must have 30 summoning) (lamp) Recipe for Disaster - 20k xp (must have 50 summoning) (lamp) Troll Stronghold - 20k xp (must have 30 summoning) (lamp) Meeting History - 2.5k xp (lamp/book thing) http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Quest_e ... ce_rewards So, 15k xp for the quests with no leveling requirements, or level 31. 42k xp for quests with 30+ requirements, or level 44. 2.5k xp for quests with 35+ requirements, or level 45 (almost). 20k xp for RFD, with 50+ requirements, or (from level 50) level 51. That is 82k Summoning xp, or over 2/3's the xp you need. I don't know which quest you have/have not done, but even if you do a few it will still be chaper (and maybe faster) in the long run. I can't really help you with anything else, as I'm f2p and have never done summoning, but I hope this advice Helps. -
ya, I did emreald ring from 56-60, it took me about 4 hours in al kharid. When I came up with the method though, it made 60-70gp per ring, then I told everyone and profits lowered a lot. Lol good luck crafting, it gets pretty boring.

Anyone know the chances of guessing the code? Like, if I spent a few hours typing in random letters, will that work?

Price of Runescape Member Cards? (Target)
matrix2613 replied to Big_Stingman's topic in Help and Advice
im pretty sure its $7.50 for 30 days and $21.50 for 90 days. I'll look for a link on the main site and update this post if I find it. http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... cle_id=738 -
Um... Do Vampire Slayer Quest, its easy and it will get you to about 28 or 29 attack. Train your attack to 30. Train your attack to 30 on any low leveled monster, like cows/minotaurs in sos/goblins in goblin village. Then train your strenght to 35 on the same monsters as before. After that, train your Defence to 30 and move on to hobgoblins/flesh crawlers. At the hobgoblins, train your attack to 40 then train your defence to either 33/40. If you want to do Dragon Slayer at that level and stay at 40 defence, the 20k xp it gives will get you to 40. If not, just go to 40 defence. After that, 40 strenght, and move on to something like flesh crawlers. Use salmon/trout/tuna as your food source.

leave it in your bank and do slayer till you have enough fire runes for full price.. Or just cut willows.. Seriously, I have no idea how to get junk
-
Um.... Black robes, skull septre from sos(i think you can use safespots on ankous for the last part), mime mask is scary, full zomby, frog mask, fire runecrafting gloves, maybe if you have a few hundred k's then full corrupt... I don't really know, your chances are limited. The best things are from randoms, and I doubt you have gotten many.

http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=combat_calc.htm I'm going to do some generalizations, so dont assume that I'm 100% acurate. At level 70 strenght, you will have 737k xp. At 40 Attack, you will have 37k xp. At 70 Range you will also have 737k xp. Together, these 3 stats have a combined total of 1511k xp. Since 1/3 of every damage point dealt will go to your hp, your hp will have 503k xp, or level 66. Anithing higher then 66, in theory, will give you an advantage. I think.

Haha, with my pure I ranged the level 26 guards at Darynor village with steel arrows, banked every bone. I don't know xp rates, but you could try it.

South of Melzar's Maze, there are 4 Yew trees stuck right next to eachother. Usually, it is pretty empty as there is no bank nearby, and even if there is 3 or 4 people, the trees should be able to keep all of you happy. Banking, however, can be an issue when coming to this place to get profit. One solution would be to use the Lumbridge Achievement Ring 3 and use the cabbage port feature, which will take you very close to Draynor without wasting space for teleport runes. Basically, you would cabbage port with a rune axe, air tiara, and random clothes attached, being sure to carry a full load of rune ess, Run west until you get to the air altar, Craft the runes, Run to the cutting spot and chop till you have a full inventory, cabbage port back to Draynor, and repeat. This method can also be used for mining gold/silver ore, fishing lobsters/swordfish in karamja, or killing cows next to the crafting guild.

Ok Thanks guys, that helps a lot. Anybody know what armor should I use? What new quests have comeout since two years ago? Should i use the 2 10k XP lamps from one small favour to get a jumpstart on summoning (will get it to 44)?
-
i havent fished in while, but heres a tip: Lumbridge Achievement Ring 3. Really, this ring is one of the most importany items that a f2p'er should have. I will make banking a hell of a lot faster and will save you 30gp per load. Also, dont cook them on a raw fire unless your cooking is 74, save them and use them on a normal range as you will burn considerably less. After 74 cooking, you can cook them anytime you want. Wow, you make a lot of threads.....

Don't high alc, just use fire bolt on the wizards west of Port Sarim, its very AFK'able since you will only be doing splash, and I'm pretty sure its within your price range.

Heres a few- Making anchovy pizzas, it is easily 200k an hour if you can buy the materials. Killing the cockaroach soldiers under edgeville, that is easily 65-75k an hour/trip. Mining gold in the crafting guild, about 80k an hour, craft air runes on your way from the bank, really pretty easy if you have cabbage-port. With you level I would estimate about 250-300 yews an hour, I'm guessing 410 per log, so about 102.5k for 250 logs. These are meant for f2p, but I'm not 100% sure on the gp rates on all of them, so if I'm wrong don't flame me lolz

BUMP Come on guys, I spent at least a half hour writing this yesterday, help me out with at least something...

With the release of the new prepaid cards at Target, I will probably be able to get a membership again soon. The last time I was a member was when construction came out, it was actually released the last day of my membership and only got a chance to train it to level 6. The day after that, I was hacked and lost absolutely everything on my perfectly organized bank. (Edit-I forgot to say I currently have about 1.7m cash and Full Rune on my account at the moment) My stats- ( I have 6 construction and 20 farming) I am confused or have no idea how to train- [hide=]Summoning- (I think I know the basics, you use shards from monster drops on an obelisk, make pouches, then use the pouches to get the pets. However, I don't really know the most efficient way to train this, and I've read it is very expensive. How long would it take to get to 52?) Hunter- (Is this skill basically a sit and wait? Go to the monsters spot, set up a trap, and wait till you catch something, Right? Does this skill have any practical uses, besides spottier/spotted cape? How long would it take to get to 50+?)) Construction- (I am completely confused on what to do, all I know is that I have to make planks. I hear that your POH can be really useful with things like altars and costume rooms, but when does this skill stop being just a money pit and actually become useful?) Farming- (I have heard that this skill is pretty good for money if you farm rannars, but I want to know the fastest method to get it to that level and the best way to farm rannars.) Herblore-(I never really liked this skill, but I want to do Legends so I need to know a relatively cheap way to train it to 50, maybe I could use the rannars from farming?) Thieving-(What would be the most efficient ways of training it, and what would be ways that I could profit from it?) Slayer-(What master would I use? Would it be worth it to buy a black mask or whatever its called? When do I start making money from this?) Agility-(It was one of my favorite skills, but its been so long that I have no idea where to train it for the best experience.) Prayer- I want to get to 70, What are the fastest ways of getting here? Cheapest? Moderate Way?[/hide] I have finished these Quests- [hide=]All F2P Quests Big Chompy bird hunting BioHazard Clock Tower Creature of Fenkenstrain The Dig Site Drudic Ritual Dwarf Cannon Elemental Workshop I Fishing Contest The Fremennik Trials Gertrude's Cat The Giant Dwarf The Golem The Grand Tree Heroes' Quest Holy Grail Horror from the Deep Jungle Potion Lost City The Lost Tribe Merlin's Crystal Murder Mystery Nature Spirit Plague City Priest in Peril Recipe for Disaster *Dwarf *Wartface & Bentnoze *Pirate Pete *Lumbridge Guide *Skrach 'Bone Cruncher' Uglogwee Recruitment Drive Sheep Herder A Soul's Bane Tai Bwo Wannai Trio Tree Gnome Village Underground Pass Wanted! Watchtower Waterfall Quest Witch's House Basically, all the easy begginer quests[/hide] Which important quests am I missing? Should I use XP lamps from quests like One Small Favour on skills like Summoning, or would it be better to use it on Prayer? About how long will it take to get a Quest Cape? Armor- [hide=]I was thinking something on the lines of Helmet- ? Cape-Fire Cape/Quest cape (help on both of those needed) Amulet- Glory? Weapon- Whip Torso- ? Shield- Obsidian Shield? Legs - ? Gloves - Dragon Gloves from RFD? Boots- Dragon Boots Ring- Ring of Dueling/Lumbridge Achievement Ring 3[/hide] What are some of the new members updates I missed, like GWD and the like? Where are some good meele training spots, I have already read the guide on Zomby Monkeys, But is there something that gives more profit? What are the best ways to make money with my stats? Thank You Guys

You can buy the mith ores at min and sell the bars a little over max incase you wanted to know...
-
It depends on how concentrated you are. Ive heard that you can get about 1k mith bars done per hour if you really concentrate, but I have no idea since whenever I superheat I only do 100-200 at a time to avoid boredom.
-
Haha thats funny, their is probably about 50k offers on every corrupt item thanks to all the f2per's. Try going to world 1 or 3 and see how many level 70+ yelling out buying all corrup max price. Lol, at least i got rid of the 3k raw lobs I had, even though I cooked over 1k of them, I still profitted over 50k=p.
-
You could smelt iron bars using a ring of forging, if you buy 140 iron ores, a ring of forging, smelted the bars, and sold at mid price you would make 18k profit and 1.75k xp. It might be slow, but profit is profit...

Train on lesser demons in karamja until either 60 or 70 range. After that, use mith/addy arrows on the lvl 83 cockaroach soldiers using other players as a safespot. You will more then likely beat a level 80 with 70 range with mith arrows 8/10 times (guesstimate, but there was a pure there once with 68 range that stole every single drop using addy arrows, then I world hopped =P~ )

That thread doesnt belong in this forum, but I'm not sure where it belongs either. Even thought this threads name is Help & Advice, Its meant for people seeking help to get advice, not vice versa. OT: If you range/mage, use wine. You can buy it from the ge at 70-80 gp and it heals 11. Almost as much as lobsters for about 1/3 the cost

So, if the specials do work on f2p, would that mean that I can take a corrupt dragon battleaxe when I'm training at spiders in sos, use the special to boost my strength, and keep training like I normally would? If that was the case, does it degrade for just being in your inventory? Or only when you wield/use it? Using this would completely eliminate the need for strenght pots in f2p, which would save you inventory space meaning more food = longer trips right? Anybody else think that this would be a good idea?
-
I guess that makes since, but shouldnt I use a max hit calculator to tell me when my new max hit is? Oh and, I'm leaving my defence at 70 until I get members (probably soon prepaid crads ftw)
